60 of 67 · most liked firstOk so, I've never refunded a game before and I sure didn't pay much for this, like half a buck. But the game is so "babby's first game" I am flabbergasted seeing it for sale rather than as some submission to a game jam. The game is about you finding a certain lamppost... for some reason. You have no idea where it is but as long as you stand close to any lamp post you are safe from the monster which will teleport away after getting too close. So the game is just you running around a mountainous…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played in the dark this game is scary. It's loud, you are truly alone, and you feel lost and out of control. When you finally realize that just looking at the beast is not going to save you all bets are off. My advice is not to run to the next marker because if the beast shows up and you are out of breath – you dead. It needs a few tweaks. I would like to see randomly generated numbers for the markers. It would be nice if the markers could serve as a safe zone. Some kind of lantern or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →horror/walking simulator in which you run through a mountain forest, searching for a specific lantern, and escaping a teleporting monster. ✅The game builds tension nicely, forcing you to search for a specific lantern while avoiding the monster, which can create a sense of confusion and uncertainty. ❌A very boring game that boils down mainly to running through the forest and searching for lanterns, without much variety ❌The game doesn't tell you what objectives you're supposed to complete, nor…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am usually really forgiving, but this game is miserably bad for a few reasons. My largest issue with it though is the lack of options...at all... Want to change the audio? Tough luck Want to change the video / graphic quality? Tough lucl Want any sort of options at alll? Tough luck There is just nothing, and the game doesn't tell you that hitting ESC at the title screen will exit the game, until after you figure out that hitting enter is how you progress to the actual game and receive…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWW !! A few years ago, I had played a very simple and small game called "Slender the height pages". Since then it has become a cult game. The things I had felt, I found them in this little game. And it is not a simple Clone but a new reference ! Lot of AAA don't have this Quality .... It is not a game it is an experience ! Graphics are awesome! Sound are Amazing! Fear is enormous! Play it, if you want to rediscover the simple fear ...

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please make the intro skippable it literally is so painful to my eardrums, also why does ESC close the game? I tried to skip the longass intro and it just closed the game completely forcing me to withstand it again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So this game terrifies me and I love it. What I DONT love is every 10 seconds I get absolutely slaughtered and it frustrates me because I actually want to be terrified but instead im throwing stuffed animals at my wall and having to cut out most of my "gameplay" recordings because they are definatly not PG when I get killed 30 times in a row. I refuse to use a guide. Fight me. Its a good game tho.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →7 minutes played and im already annoyed. Where is the menu to change options like resolution and volume? Its so laggy and barely playable, if i could fix the resolution then it would probably improve. I get its scarier to be minimalistic and be loud but its buggy and choppy as heck.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is no option to change graphic or game settings.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The graphics of this game are very nice. as far as gameplay its pretty linear but very scary. only real complaint is the insanly loud jumpscare. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UayvZf3DW6A&feature=youtu.be
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →also, trivia; I THINK this game is how my younger self first learned about the Beast of Gevaudan, as that creature, envisoned here as a werewolf, is one of the characters whose role you can assume.
unlabelledView post →yeah so...just dont buy it, its soo bad to the point it doesnt have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pause menu u cant lower the earrape that plays from the beginning oh sorry i mean mUsiC, even on sales its not worth it tbh its not playable yet
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like Camille's game suggestion to adapt BROTHERHOOD OF THE WOLF: Loups-garous de Thiercelieux aka The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow aka just Werewolf (but not the Apocalypse). A little hack/reskin and the game would be about finding the Gevaudan beast's handler. 3/x
unlabelledView post →I wont say much about the game, just RUN AWAY from this!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You have to stay close to path lit by lanterns and search for the next checkpoint. Sometimes you just see them, sometimes you have to blindly run and look for it. Nice idea but it could have been done much better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Start the game up, Audio is too loud. Hit ESC to try to skip what I think is an opening screen to quickly get to main menu. Game closes. Restart, loud audio issues persist. Hit other keys and eventually discover ENTER takes me to a "main menu" that tells me ESC closes the game, cool. Only option is to hit ENTER again to begin the game. Some backstory and Lore. Put into game, basic controls WASD/Shift, the usual suspects. Game audio still extremely loud, hit ESC to try to bring up an…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doesnt even launch had to look on the decussion to see how to get out of the overly laggy loading screen. The game crashed the second I started it. No settings or display settngs. I would have wrote a nicer review if I at least got to play the bloody game. Waste of money.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, Great price. Play at night What's not to like?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/XW2ZOijYhck Based on a classic monster, this rendition is only half heartily interested in pursuing the player. Wandering the level looking for a specific lamppost won't keep ones attention for long.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok, so I tried 3 times to play this, and failed because im a giant wimp! This is a very well made atmospheric game well worth the cost of the purchase. I would recommend this to anyone that is a fan of the slendy games. But word of warning you have to be very very brave. If you want to see me spoil my poants trying to play this game you can do [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaMJc4Hu9UE]>>HERE<<
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Games I Want to Run but I'm Sure Nobody Will Want to Play: - WEG d6 Star Wars 1st Edition, based solely on my memories of the original trilogy and nothing else, just vibes and 1970s space - Burning Wheel, Gevaudan terrorized by the Beast - B/X D&D, but we hack the shit out of the game every session
unlabelledView post →"Gevaudan" is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. It's important to also note the "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. This seems more like a school project, but it's being…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the worst games Ive ever played dont buy this game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a fun and scary experience, you get that feeling of being completely lost while also being hunted. very unsettling. The atmosphere is beautifully terrifying which adds to the horror. I am a huge werewolf/wolfman/bi-pedal wolf creature fan so this was right up my alley.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: Vague, mysterious threat. You're thrown into an interesting environment with scraps of knowledge to hopefully get you through alive Freaky-looking monster. Excellent audio engineering: sound effects cue you in to knowing almost exactly where the monster is. Cons: Weird filter/visual effects choices pull you out of the experience. When you see the monster and stare at it, it'll vanish... and mess up your "vision"... except no it won't. It'll inflict weird effects on your camera as if it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're looking for a fast and snappy loading screen that lasts less than a day to load and you'll probably die as soon as you go into the game then you're in for a treat. This black screened game's title is beautiful and is a great game to play before sleeping as it will gives you great dreams, if you can wait a day. Markiplier's 2 million dislikes on the video shows what a sexy game this truely is. Overall, it's 4 yeses from the 'Britain's got talent' crew and you're into the next round…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meh, after playing for 28 minutes, I have to say that I'm not exactly intrigued and this game is such a time waster. First of all let me say to you that I'm not really a fan of the Slendermen hunt for pages type of games, however, if done good, they can be worth the time. This one didn't strike me as such... the killings are so random, it's like he spawns directly behind or on the sides like literally 1 meter from you. It happens quite often, of course, ending your game. So you must try again…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NOT WORHT BUYING - TRASH IT! This 'game' is absolut not worth any cent. The only horror in this game is the game itself. This game is so worst developed that i recommend to lapidate the developers. You start with a very cruel animation at the beginning of the game and when you press the ESC-button (like you would do anywhere else) the game close itself. Than you hear absolut anyoing sounds and after a simple written text on a black screen the game starts. It only takes you 30 seconds to find…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an interesting atmosphere piece, with minimalist approach to gameplay. It's very walking simulator with eerie noise. There just isn't anything to it beyond that. This is a $1 horror game. Try not to pay more than that or you'll be disappointed. Think of it as the B-movie horror bin of gaming. I bought it on a cheap sale, if I'd paid full price for this I may have been more inclined to make this a thumbs down. --- [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/38232109/]While you are here,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →God, I love this movie so much. It's because of how bat-shit video gamey this gets, that I'd trust Christophe Gans with any video game-to-movie adaptation. This might as well be a Soul Calibur prequel instead of a Beast of Gevaudan story.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →That's too clever for me. Name generators or names stolen from old graves, that's my game. Apart from my very obvious choice to name two places in my novel Gevaudan and Bisclavret.
unlabelledView post →Whoah, I really dig the bridge at 2:00 minutes in, and the rad solo after. Gave me a big hit of some Blazblue guitar solos! I often imagine "Gevaudan" as the name of a fighting game move for a werewolf character, too. I dig this one~
unlabelledView post →6. Favorite game I never play? It's Burning Wheel for sure. It's a hard sell, a ton of investment for everyone, and there's a lot of Tone in that book. I'll run my Beast or Gevaudan BW game someday.
unlabelledView post →Gevaudan is an actually interesting game with an intriguing plot and game play. You begin by looking for a place during a night of snow, very dark and the only path is numbered lamps. At times they seem to go in order, though for the most part they are scattered. Similar to the Witch Hunt wolf beast level but without weapons. Scary game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not my cup of tea.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →what a great scary game to play
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This games is unfinished and monotonous :/
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →From the screen shots, trailer and even the first few minutes of game play this game seems like a fresh take on horror. The music is incredibly intense, the mechanics of the monster are unpredictible so it keeps you on your toes and the map requires some legitimate thinking to work things out. However, i do think it's a bit cheap to say "get to objective 57" so you're giving the player the thought that that is where victory is...But it isn't, not gonna lie - that spoiled the game for me :/
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It doesn't even start up sometimes, and if it does you're stuck at the menu unable to start the game. I was only able to play it once out of the 10xs I restarted and reinstalled it. Yeah it's only $2 but I live with the regret that those $2 could've been spent on a water bottle or some ♥♥♥♥.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alright, so I played this for my YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHgYdpLEy59XKbiruPSHA6g for a Let's Play. You guys and gals should check that out for all the games that I play! Getting that out of the way, here are my thoughts typed up for you... -Good werewolf monster in terms of looks, but I believe I would've liked it more if it didn't walk up to you and kill you almost randomly sometimes, perhaps leading into a less complicated way of explaining how the wolf behaves.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was pretty good. but when it came to trying to record and play it it would lag so bad. After some time though I managed to fix the issue the graphics and monster was amazing but there wasn't much to do. So in my opinion it isn't really worth 3 dollars anyways here is my let's play of the game! Gevaudan - Something is Lurking in The Woods! https://youtu.be/68axRKrzAwg
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game so bad why not get the mini map for help to gind the key ,this game oppen world so wtf
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is this a last one of Nicolas Bernard's games before retired and gave up on Steam?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After a getting just nowhere close to reaching the goal, the monster spawns out of nowhere and kills you. Every single time. Eeh.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →@nylarosebeast.bsky.social Nyla, have you heard of a board game called Nightmare where you play as a Halloween themed character consisting of Elizabeth Bathory the vampire, Gevaudan the werewolf, Pharaoh Khufu the mummy, Hellin The Poltergeist, Baron Samedi The Zombie and Anna Chartrain the witch?

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a short game, but interesting game... If you are bored at night you can play it. xD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The environment is great, and the beast is scary. I'll give it that. But unfortunately that's all that is. There is no menu, options or gameplay explanation. You're placed in the middle of a forest with lamp posts, and you must run from the beast and find a specific lamp post. At least I think that's the objective. It's a shame because this could have been something interesting. There's nothing wrong with short, cheap games if the experience is fulfilling. Running around in a forest with no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My gameplay: https://youtu.be/Hjoowq_XoZk?feature=shared This was a fun basic horror game! I liked the soundtrack and sounds, very intense. The graphics are decent. I wish there was more lore/story elements. Perhaps at specific milestones, add scripts or reports on Gevaudan? But besides that, I think this game was entertaining and spooky for sure. I recommend everyone to play this at least once. Other playthroughs: https://www.youtube.com/@iAmLegendanny
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm mixed, I got the game for .59 cent on fanatical. I can't complain, it was cheap enough to try, give the developer some support for making something better in the future! First off, I can't tell you how many time's I ctrl+alt+del this game until I figured out it wasn't frozen, there's just no prompt to hit enter to start! UE5 doesn't charge me per text area, but things change! Standing under lights, not looking in it's eyes, noting keeps it from attacking, it's just random chance. EDIT:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't prove that the ominous German monologue that started playing AFTER the game crashed was caused by this game, but I honestly have no idea what else it could have been. That being said, when I did manage to get the game to launch, it was basically pure motion sickness in game form.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Compatibility issues. Stupidly easy game. Not scary. There's better in the Free 2 Play bin.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →M-am cacat pe mine, sincer!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was fun at the beginning once you find out how the beast works, however when you do that the game loses all it's fun and it's too short overall.
