If you're into casual, arcade style game play, then POPixel is going to be right up your alley. Stunning and vibrant pixel art visuals. Cute and catchy music, it doesn't get annoying or repetitive. And just really solid, smooth controls and game play mechanics. Total bargain at £1.43, I'll be gifting this to some friends.

Not a bad price either for what it's worth. It's good if you want something casual and not too complicated but it also feels like it could just be a mobile game. Trading cards are a plus though. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring issue with all the games included in the Pacotão CGGAMES BUNDLE, as they all suffer from similar problems. For example, POPIXEL won’t run on my primary system equipped with a Radeon RX 6750 XT, but it works on an older Radeon 580 and NVIDIA-based cards (on an older notebook running LMDE). A minor bug is on Volcano level 16: a random balloon high in the stage that is completely inaccessible. 2. A much bigger bug on Big City level 13: the first balloon (an “Esvolaçado”) will always explode when hit, rendering the level, and therefore the entire game, unbeatable. I could give this game a thumbs up if these two issues (or at least the second one) were fixed. I won't be holding my breath though.

It's cheap, the badges are good, the gameplay is good and fun, and you can play this without worrying about damaging your achievement stats! Pro's: 1. Fun game with no achievements to worry about 2. Popping all the balloons and collecting numerous coins around the level award completionist medals at the end. A simple concept that is delivered well is what makes POPixel worth checking out. Each stage will challenge the player's dexterity to make the jump and mentally to puzzle out the paths to pop and collect everything along the way.
