However its cleared it was used alot of this one. you can ignore the art issues, but the issue by far is the narrative and the failure to translate it properly in english. in a game about confirming details, poorly translated ones can be an very annoying issue.

You don't need to rush, just read carefully everything and save often, because some quests evidences might confuse you otherwise (a bit more clarity on some thing would be good - visualy different meat from monster, that was burnt by magic is acceptable evidence). Cooking might need some improvements, for example one of the first task is to give shaved ice dish (which is 2 by name),…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun, good writing and lore, I'd love it if I can date the adventurers, then it'd be perfect
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Galvatein is a game about being the receptionist of every adventurer's guild in every stereotypical fantasy anime. There was a demon king who got slain by a great hero 200 years ago, and now the lands live more or less in harmony, adventurers roaming them to slay wandering monsters. But peasants aren't very good at identifying monsters while running for their lives, so verifying these adventurers' quest results before they get their rewards falls to you. The gameplay loop is one part Paper's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finished the game rn (it has 6 chapters so far) and i really enjoyed the papers' please type of gameplay and at the same time the characters each have their own personality that i really enjoyed reading. The cooking is also quite fun but its really limited rn so i hope we get more chances to cook dishes. What i would suggest next is to have some kind of character stories added to know there past because currently there's only like 1 character that i would consider to be like that. overall this…

Recommended, if you are like visual novel game mixed with puzzle gameplay. You play as a guild receptionist and have to review quest for each adventure. Sometimes the adventure completely confuse the quest target for different monster or the quest come with confusing riddle style. Right now the game is very linear with little variety, so each run feels the same, though there are a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice casual game, and finally a fantasy game that has the basic fantasy creatures that isn't an MMO and this game really reminds me of the guild receptionist anime which makes it refreshing for me although I wish it'd be 2 times longer than this cause I really enjoyed it. The game reminds me of Quarantine zone but this game is less of a hassle for me since I liked the gameplay more since each characters have different stories while I review their quests, and also the nightime of handling the…

The text goes on forever for plots that are totally meaningless and empty and I absolutely do not care about at all. No ability to save when I want or clear indication when a save actually happens makes it so if I need to do anything else I'm too scared to quit the game because i'll probably just have to click through endless text that pops up and buries previous text and I have zero desire to continue.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Paper Please!-inspired game that took place in a wonderful fantasy land, where many races gather as one, as adventurers taking everyday quests from the board and submitting the result to the guild. That's where we, as the Guild Receptionist, will review the work of the hardworking adventurers. I very much love the game as it currently is, and I am looking forward to more. I love the story, the characters, the design, and the personality. I would like to see Dorothea's growth from here. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even as an early access, the story is engaging and beautiful enough as it is. Each characters have their own personality and nuances. After finishing the story, i completely forgot there is more coming in the future. I would highly recommend it.

unlabelledView post →Reminiscent of Papers Please, albeit in a more whimsical fantasy setting. The core idea and features seem to be present, and since it's still in Early Access I'd say that the placeholders will be ironed out when the game is finished. I do feel the biggest glaring issue of the game in its current state is the dialogue UI. The design is similar to the chat logs on a cellphone, which if you're going for a fantasy setting, doesn't mesh well. If they don't neglect the UI for the upcoming features…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →79) MIO: Memories in Orbit Cool search-action game that's very artsy, but also plays very well and is neat to poke around and explore in. 80) Galvatein: Adventurers' Guild Really cool investigative game that has you assessing adventure's turn-ins and helping clients. Wishlisted.

unlabelledView post →The stories in each episode were nice, and I loved how the 6th episode went. There were 6 episodes currently as the time of this writing. The game mentioned using AI for concepts, although I would have preferred that they use more original human-based art as there have been some inconsistencies with the artstyle. The vibes of the game can sometimes make you feel like playing on a powerpoint presentation, but I like the graphics. Maybe an option for autoclick on the dialogue can help with the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun and cute game, kind of papers please-like where you work as Adventure Guild Receptionist in fantasy world. Game gives a lot of time for plot and bounding with characters/adventurers. Thats very fine, giving that the dialogues and soundtrack forced emotions out of me - but that is for the cost of less time actually reviewing the document and quests. The other thing i am actually sad about is that all the reviewing part is written, it's always the same order, the same script and the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd say that this game is fun and has the potential, I look forward for the future updates with more things to do as receptionist or maybe as other character. Some notes from gameplay: - Compared to the demo version, the cooking mode definitely better but the choosing recipe might need some improvement such as auto-close the opened recipe each time you choose a new recipe. - The way to confirm different appearance also improved. Now you'll sometime see a blinking red star on the adventurer. -…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is the absolute peak fantasy! and i really love it. I couldn't imagine being a reception in a guild could be this entertaining. Each day listening to other guild member adventure and help them makes every story full of emotion. can't wait for the future story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The visual and music right off the bat are appealing. Conversations move like chat app, making the dialogue snappy. I just wish there were more dialogue choices. Core loop involves cross referencing loot, IDs, and terrain maps to pass approval on quests, ala Papers Please. Adding a deeper mechanic would make for a better game rather than an imitation. Talking with the NPCs are fun, and I like the recipe-crafting minigame. The developers succeeded in making the collection of dialogue cues and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple but fun, and a nice story. it needs some way to go faster through the text for smoother replayability
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Endearing narrative, interesting auditing mechanics and very well written characters. Enjoyable start to the product, and looking very much forwards to the continuation of the tale!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really enjoying it so far. Love the character art and it's fun getting to know chars and their stories. Being a guild receptionist and actually checking the quests yourself is a pretty cool idea too. I'm curious to see more of the world and where the story goes from here.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All the usual disclaimers: it's in EA, isn't finished yet, final product might not be yada yada. With that out of the way. Galvatein is, as its name suggests, set in the fairly standard JRPG style adventurer's guild of a high-magic fantasy world. You are a quest handler by day and a cook by night. The quest desk gameplay will make up the bulk of your time here. There's the by now unavoidable comparison to the famed Papers, Please - although I feel like this game's interpretation of it is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finished the game. Loved the concept of playing as the receptionist, and mini-games were interesting as well. Art is great and the characters are surprisingly well written. Took me around 3 hours to finish, a bit short but had a good time with it. Looking forward to the full release.
