positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →april 2023 edit: level skip and new game mode added, plus turns out there are 115 campaign levels, not 75. flipon is an almost completely timed and frantic (might already lose some people here) matching adventure about a girl and her dog collecting flipoblocks and selling them on earth for their personal gain. the interactive tutorial on startup teaches the basics, but as the title suggests, it's about flipping blocks to create matches of at least 3 of the same color. rebindable controls for…

Cute silly story which you don't need in order to play (kinda appropriate for kids) Some extras which make it more enjoyable than open or free games in the same vein Game modes always challenging you and pushing you to the next level Nice audio tracks Overall sense of action and a feeling of joy What's bad with it? Not much that I can say. I have enjoyed lots of hours of casual play and have already achieved whatever I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good panel game. Good controls, and challenging AI. The game gets hard very fast and bloody fast too. You will need to think quick and move quicker, certainly more difficult then classic panel games. Very solid game in this under populated genera.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has got the Sauce. Everything has got a punchy satisfying feel and flare. It kinda feels like I'm playing a Panel de Pon-like from the early "HD" era when Critter Crunch came out. I'm pleased to see it is by no means a slavish carbon copy of the games that inspired it under the hood, it rethinks some of the edge-case rules and conventions, such as letting matches happen while a block is still free-falling, or letting you push up while animations are still going. A few super hardcore…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Flipon is a really great match 3 game. The game is visually cool, the music perfectly matches its style, and the gameplay is frenetic. It also has a story, but it doesn't need one. Its campaign mode provides countless hours of fun. You travel to 7 planets, each with between 15 or 20 stages. The levels have different objectives; the mechanics are always the same, but sometimes you'll have to survive for a minimum amount of time, reach a certain score, solve a puzzle, and finally defeat the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite being in the Tetris Attack / Panel de Pon / Pokemon Puzzle League style of game, it's missing key gameplay features of pretty much every other title in that style. For example, while you can move blocks while others are falling to keep a chain going, you can't time a move to place a block where you just cleared others & have the chain count. Changes like this may force you to have a completely different, and possibly less fun, play style than usual & can create bad habits when moving…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's amazing it's taken this long for a tetris attack clone of any description to finally exist on PC, but here's the first of two of them. Interesting stuff: -Super powers on boss fights or vs mode (I never used them, but they're there and that's interesting) -Vs mode has up to 4 players for the first and only time since gamecube panel de pon which was japanese only -Many of the otherwise regular line clear and survival levels have some gimmicks start showing up, like randomly hidden blocks,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Review from a Hardcore Tetris Attack/Planet Puzzle League Player When I saw this on sale, it was an instant buy! I was jonesing to flip some panels like back in the old days! As someone who played an unhealthy amount of Tetris Attack/Panel De Pon and Planet Puzzle League when I was younger, I can honestly say that I got my money's worth here. If you're familiar with the formula of those games, you'll feel right at home here, and at the asking price, it's honestly a steal! PROS: Colorful,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Context: I am an expert Panel de Pon player with a focus on speedrunning. I currently have competitive times in a few categories and am actively looking to add my name to a few more leader boards (This game has one, too!). This game is based on the gameplay of Panel De Pon/Tetris Attack/Puzzle League, which itself is one of the most enjoyable Competitive Puzzle games out there, and my own personal favorite (In the vein of modern Tetris and Puyo Puyo, though it shares a lot more similarities…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great little puzzler match 3+ Works flawlessly on my Steam Deck Music is fantastic Graphics are slick and the little blocks have cute faces that panic when you are about to lose. Super reasonably priced specially on a sale. Easy achievements as well! 9/10 I'd give it a 10/10 if it had online MP, it has local 4 player tho. Maybe someday it will! A Dog can dream!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good Tetris Attack / Panel de Pon style puzzle game. Has a very high level of polish (think Puyo Puyo Tetris level) and the visuals, BGM, modes, campaign, are all perfect. The campaign in particular follows a very impressive difficulty curve - the difficulty increases enough to force you to get better, but not so much that you want to give up. Highly recommended if you like Tetris or Puyo Puyo!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like Panel de Pon but every block looks like they're having an existential crisis.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic game for Tetris Attack / Pokemon Puzzle League / Panel de Pon lovers! BUT it needs online multiplayer!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Made for those of us that grinded Tetris Attack / Panel de Pon for 30 years. Blocks can move as you are making combos, trash clearing has its own unique quirks, but all are adaptable circumstances. Honestly, it was lovely to have a campaign that went through all of the game modes that the game has to offer. From Puzzles to Score Attack to Line Clear to, yes, even versus. And, with couch co-op (with Steam also allowing for remote play), this game is sure to be an adored collection to any and all…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →BIG YES! I love these types of puzzle games, I played the pokemon puzzle league version as a kid and got really good at that and was sad when I've gotten through all the content there was, because I felt like there was still room to get better. This really scratched that itch for me! I've ran through all the normal worlds + bonus world in 4 hours and will be doing the next world (that doesn't even have an achievement for completing it, probably has been added later?) next. So far I fear that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →high quality Tetris Attack clone
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A copycat version of Puzzle League, with bad gameplay. All the subtle moves you can do in the original are gone, and combos are messed up. The music is nice, graphics are fluid, but that's about it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played through the entirety of the campaign, plus the bonus missions. I love the gameplay of Panel De Pon/Tetris Attack, it's my favorite of the puzzle genre. It plays pretty identical to it's predecessors with some slight gameplay changes, the garbage block system has some minor tweeks such as you can only destroy one layer at a time. All and all I enjoyed my time with the game but if I had to criticize anything it is that I don't necessarily prefer this garbage block system compared to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Flipon is a match 3 style Indie developed puzzle game with elements of Tetris, and variety between levels, including alternating in difficulty, from very easy and slow paced to very difficult and fast paced; and sometimes played back to back. In Campaign mode there's a little bit of storyline between levels in the form of an interplanetary Sci-Fi adventure, which introduces various comical characters into the game (each with their own special power), and short but entertaining dialog. It now…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you love Panel de Pon, Tetris Attack, Puzzle League, then this will fix that itch a bit. However, it is missing features I wish it had, like Online matchmaking. Overall, pretty good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Legally distinct Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack. You're not terribly much better off for it, unfortunately, and I'm not sure who this appeals to. Pretty simple for the OG crowd to clean out the achievements in quick fashion, I was no different, but the experience itself is a little bit too easy and gets boring very quickly. Good enough to show off for a certain amount of time on a few dollars but that's about it. No online given and no updates in a few years - what you see is what you get for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →thank you so much dev team for making this game. Tetris attack is one of my all time favorite games . Nice to have this on the deck. The verses mode is incredibly challenging , and could probably use its own arcade mode with scaling challenge . That said thanks for putting care in this version . Loving it !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really solid take on tetris meets match-3, with a campaign that lasts several hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an excellent puzzle game! I was trying to figure out why it felt a bit familiar until I remembered Planet Puzzle League from the good old DS. I was able to install this on my Chromebook laptop/tablet combo (thanks to the included Linux version of the game), and the touchscreen works excellently with it for quick movement of blocks. I've been having a great time working through the campaign, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the other modes. I would love to see this developer release a sequel or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the most faithful Tetris Attack-like I've seen since Pokemon Puzzle League.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is to Tetris Attack / Panel de Pon what the Tetris Grandmaster games are to Tetris. The speed ramps up incredibly quickly and, while the missions start off very gentle, things get challenging fast. Absolutely would recommend if you enjoyed Tetris attack or Pokemon Puzzle League as a kid and want something more challenging for your next nostalgia trip.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a pretty fun puzzle game. Super cute, not super stressful(kinda hard at points but not a bad thing), and its really cheap!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so precious! If you've ever played pokemon puzzle league/challenge on the N64/GBC, or Tetris Attack, you'll love this game! It's got such an adorable art style and I love it so much, though be ready for a real challenge in the later stages. I'm stuck and I can't get through it :( If I had one recommendation for the Devs, enable mod support! I'd love to have some music mods going on :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great spiritual successor to "Panel de Pon" / "Tetris Attack" / "Puzzle League" with cute characters, and a good amount of variety and content that's very generously priced. While it's true it doesn't have native online multiplayer, you can always get around that via Steam's Remote Play Together. Definitely a must-have!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: * Game feels really solid, responsive, and I did not run into any bugs or issues. * Story mode is fairly difficult, but not to the point where I think it is unreasonable to expect the average player to be able to beat the game. * Slight changes in game mechanics when compared to the Panel de Pon series are refreshing even if they are just minor differences. Cons: * The lack of online multiplayer is a bit sad given that's what many of us PDP players have been looking for for a long long…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The effects on this game are so juicy and you wouldn't think the soundtrack would slap so hard BUT IT DOES
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been a hardcore TA/PdP player for a long time and finding this was a very welcome surprise. I highly recommend anyone who likes deep and engaging puzzle action games to dive in.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoy this game; it's good for a mental challenge. Although one can match blocks vertically and horizontally, one can ONLY move blocks horizontally, which still gives me troubles in the game. I haven't found a way to start over again (should I wish to). I bought the game, read the tutorial, but don't remember everything from it, but I cannot find any documentation or any way to re-run the tutorial. It does bring back memories of Tetris... in Tetris, pieces fell from the sky; in this game,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Puzzle league but now it's on my puter
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey #gamesky? Is That a hashtag? Videogamesky? Video gamers... I'm spiraling. Let's try again. If anyone out there is a fan of Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack/Pokemon Puzzle League, I found a game on Steam called Flipon that is VERY much that. In fact, I think it's that. The aesthetics are perfect.
unlabelledView post →Great game, well worth the asking price. Also, thanks for implementing a wide capsule!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cute game in the match three genre. Reminds me heavily of Panel de Pon, Tetris Attack and Pokemon Puzzle League. Has a cute little campaign to play through, my only wish is it had just a campaign of playing against computer players just for the nostalgia but that's me being silly because the game is great. I like the different modes it offers and the high score and puzzle modes are nice and keep you busy after you've completed the story line which is a good length anyway. The music is really…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one is fantastic. I loved Tetris Attack on SNES growing up and this is a clone of that with a great feel and animations. You can do some fun tricks like hopping gaps in the freeze for some big combolicious maneuvers
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thank goodness this game exists. Easily me favorite type of puzzle game and updated to modern standards. Super well done!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and straightforward puzzle game to play for hours with the campaign levels. Then afterwards play with various unlimited modes along with a versus option.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing and way under priced Tetris Attack remake! Flawless controls!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a cute puzzle game. It's like Columns, but on a conveyor belt but you also don't want to lose by overflowing to the stop of the screen like in Columns/Tetris/Puyo-pop. You have to make vertical line of the same colored blocks by 3 or more. You have some control of the speed at which active blocks are available via a fast forward and bomb to use on occasions like the versus matches. Some levels throw you in to a puzzle mode for a perfect clear using only whats set out, some levels are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was looking for a game that would let me relive the love I have for Tetris Attack, but I needed it in English so Panel de Pon would not do. This game scratched that itch perfectly, and even had a lovely soundtrack to boast alongside the clean animation and graphics. The only issue I had was in navigating quick enough with the mouse. This game is definitely best suited for a controller, or maybe someday a touch screen! 10/10 definitely recommend for puzzle lovers and Tetris Attack aficionados!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this genre of puzzle games. Dont be fooled by the tetris-like look and feel: the mechanics are nothing like tetris.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple but fun version of a Panel de Pon (Tetris Attack / Pokemon Puzzle League) style game. It has a few differences (gravity-defying block swaps, a few special powers, no 'active chains'), but is mostly what you expect. The story mode is interesting, although it does have a few small flaws to it. (It is very exacting in its standards -- if it asks you for a 4 block combo, a 5 block combo won't do; if it asks you for a 5 block straight combo, neither a 5 block L nor a 7 block T will…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you've played Tetris Attack, Puzzle League in any if its forms, or Panel De Pon and liked any/all of those, you'll like this. The story is standard for this sort of puzzle game, the puzzles get harder as you progress. It's kinda cutesy, and the puzzles and challenges are tough. If nothing else, on the competitive story matches, you can keep trying until the AI messes up. It's decently challenging, and has great Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon gameplay with variavble widths in the story. It's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Играл всего 25 минут и не могу пройти один из уровней в числе начальных. 25 минут и я застрял наглуго, 20 попыток и все тщетно. Эту игру вообще тестировали? Не рекомендую.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far its really fun and addicting. anyone can enjoy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really fun Tetris Attack clone. If they ever thought about making a sequel, the only real change I would make is giving this game a retro aesthetic and make the story more involved because everything else about this game is absolutely spot on. The gameplay is as good as Tetris Attack and with the different modes all included in the campaign, more varied than Tetris Attack. Even though there is plenty of content and it's cheap, I would always be down for more. I loved this game -…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Flipon is a vibrant and energetic arcade puzzle game that proudly wears its inspirations on its sleeve while still managing to carve out a personality of its own. Developed by Pixelnest Studio and published by TyGAMES, the game channels the spirit of classic block-matching puzzle titles and injects it with modern pacing, expressive visuals, and a generous variety of modes. From the very first moments, it establishes itself as a fast, colorful, and immediately engaging experience that values…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been looking for a modern replacement to Puzzle League and I'm happy to have finally found a good one!! The addition of powers is a fun extra.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a puzzle in the same vein as Tetris attack/ panel de pon/ puzzle league, which was popular in the 90s and early 2000q but has somehow not had many relevant entries. Most reviews on steam appear to be from people who were really into the aforementioned series and are looking for more of the same. As a result, many reviews boil down to "This game isn't the other game I played", ven though it's not wildly off either. I only had a casual interest in the source material, so I don't consider…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am not familiar with the genre, so I tried to give the game a chance on its own. I should have listened to the reviews from genre fans pointing out the flaws. The fact that you cannot move blocks into where you just cleared is very unsatisfying, like you're constantly making small disjointed moves instead of a flowing chain of moves. The campaign is not very interesting. Some stages are so easy that they are completely pointless. For example there was one that I think was supposed to teach…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With some asterisks, i'd recommend it. It's Panel, with some light changes. Variable well size, etc. The singleplayer makes you do every game mode (solve in x, get x points, etc) and unfortunately, RARELY a cpu VS match, which is the most fun you can have. They are all mandatory though, and i'm stuck on one that's a full screen clear i have to do with some stipulations, and i just wanna fight the computer. It's lame. Edit, i was stupid. There are no full screen clears required. I did it, and…
