It's pretty interesting and the characters are all very unique in their own way. The game is basically you just going door-to-door selling products to strangers. You have a stress and depression meter which can go up pretty fast. Once you reach max of the stress, it's game over! You have to be careful with your words with each customer, which can be difficult at times, but you learn from your mistakes and try…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short conversational time-management game. It's a neat concept and fun for a short while. However, it quickly becomes monotonous as you're going through the same(nonsensical) conversations over and over using trial and error to optimize your playthrough. If the conversations changed a little or if the game wasn't bogged down with ridiculously fast-filling "anger" and "depression" meters, I might have enjoyed it a bit longer.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of grammatical errors, but it's still pretty fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →6/10 Talk To Strangers is a roleplaying game where you play as a door to door salesman. It's great for what it is although flawed. Talk To Strangers provides a few hours of mindless entertainment. You are a salesman-or-woman and work for a product company who cares more for their sales than you. Therefore you have to balance work life (through rage and depression) alone whilst getting the door slammed in your face time and time again. The company encourages you to use queue cards that the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3.5/10 I decided to try Talk to Strangers after seeing some reviews praising the odd and surreal quality of the folks you sell products to in the game. Unfortunately, the trial and error nature of not only selling products but discovering traits about your (in-game) self was so unenjoyable that I wasn't really motivated to dig any deeper and discover the truth about these residents. When you begin the game, you'll find yourself going from home to home selling products. Some residents are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mixed. It requires many unnecessary clicks, essentially twice per input. There are many text errors, which is a problem for a game focused on dialogue. The concept is interesting (even in success you tend to lose money at the end of each day) and there are many endings, adding to replay value. Unfortunately, the choices can be obtuse with unintended consequences. In the end, I had the option of grinding my way through many selections to discover the true path over dozens of hours, or…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While the concept is interesting, it feels more like a guessing and memory based game than an actual dialogue based puzzle game. I tried to enjoy Talk To Strangers, but with the exception of the art, it really didn't appeal to me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing. I love this game. Very underrated. Even though it's a small game, there's a lot of content to it, considering that each house is generally totally different at different times of the day, there are multiple ways to make sales even at the same time of day at the same house, and there are a bunch of alternative endings you can get through the conversations. Every character is unique/weird, and the game has a great sense of humor. The game is also very hard. I can't imagine getting the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Talk To Strangers: The door to door salesman sim. Talk to Strangers puts you in the shoes of a door-to-door salesman working for “Sunny Morning.” What are you selling? Doesn’t really matter – most people won’t want it anyway. Your job is to figure out how to approach each person at their door while keeping your stress and mood in check. It’s a mix of strategy, guesswork, and a little bit of charm. You start each day in your motel, where you can grab items to help you relax or even rewind…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really liked the idea of playing as a travelling salesman, relying on your charisma and charm to sweet talk customers and close sales. Unfortunately, that wasn't this game. Although the game has a great visual style, the writing is just not very good. Each interaction with a customer is very short - there isn't really much time to pick your words carefully. Some people will basically slam the door on you instantly for saying "hi" instead of "hello". Some others have mentioned that there…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Firstly, I think I spent more time in this game than necessary. However, the game itself is pretty fun and I really enjoyed trying to find all "36" endings (technically, there's 38 endings though the game consideres 3 of them to be part of 1 ending). The graphics are randomly cute and match perfectly for this kind of game. The game itself is pretty simple as your goal is try to sell "products" to various locations in a "normal" neighborhood. At first glance, there's not much of a story beyond…

Manage your rage and depression before you rage quit the job and buy items to help lower these.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The dialogue feels disjointed and is nonsensical, making it hard to stay engaged or care. Feels like it's written by a sixteen year old. I do like the graphics though.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Talk to Strangers is a very weird game. Some odd word choices and sentences aside (the game might be translated), Talk to Strangers is a text-based visual novel-like game where you play as a salesperson who's living paycheck-to-paycheck. The goal here is to reach your daily quota, make as many sales as you can, and try to stay sane by ensuring your Rage and Depression levels are low, and alive by not getting yourself into sticky situations... and you can do all of this by picking the "right"…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty good, short and sweet experience with lots of replayability. Runs start and end very quickly as you trial and error through the conversations. Each house is interesting enough for you to want to keep trying to figure out its secrets, so it hardly feels bad to revisit them on a gameover. You can just try to finish the game and that's a good experience. However, the game appeals a lot to the completionist, as multiple runs to complete the tip notebook and get all the achievements is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Talk to Strangers is a clever, mind bugging, head scratcher dive into the contemporary paradigms of life and work. The amazing dialogue and art just make the whole experience even more enjoyable. You go trough the houses getting to know the people and yourself in the process. It's really nice to perceive our own reactions as we sail trough the days trying our best, or not, to make some sales. A very relevant, complex and absolutely fun experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is crazy fun for how simple and basic it is. I absolutely recommend it for anyone who enjoys simple multiple choice games with multiple endings. You are a door-to-door salesperson who goes to various types of houses during different types of day. The time of day and the dialogue choices determine whether or not you make sales, how many items you sell, and the ending you get. This game is EXTREMELY REPLAYABLE. Also, it's only like $1.50 on sale and it's worth every penny, imho.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It looks like the first game from a kid. It's not bad, but there are some things that could improve, like a tutorial that really explains how the game work and some other stuff. But it's promising. The art is nice too.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game just sells itself really!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Surprisingly entertaining and even challenging casual game, if you are eager to make a sale at every house, learn about the different stories and endings, and maybe get all achievements. I would describe it as choice-driven rouge-like drummer (*door-to-door salesman) simulation. I was quite flummoxed when I tried this for the first time and fell for some cookies from a nice old lady. Instead of quitting, I learnt the ropes, became an artful barterer, and can even count the Death to my…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Where can I start with this Quirky little game. Talk To Strangers aka(Door To Door Salesman Sim) is one heck of a charming game with quirky characters hiding behind each door each with their own little challenges when you face them, The soundtrack is eerily catchy especially the main menu music and I cant seem to get enough of it, The game play is super challenging but fun and the game is super replayable especially as there seems to be no end of achievements to grab and endings to find! all…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some quirky interactions, and a variety of houses and endings. It just wasn't super fun to me. Felt more like drudgery, which makes sense since you're selling unknown products door to door to people who don't want it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is such a cute and funny little game! There's death, cookies, and the overwhelming horror of capitalism! What else do you need in a game?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Talk to Strangers is a pretty silly, but it’s also more challenging than it first appears. You’d think it would be a simple, casual experience, but there’s actually a decent amount of strategy involved. Figuring out how to successfully sell to each stranger takes some trial and error, and you also have to manage your resources while doing it. I wouldn’t call it a cozy game, but if you’re looking for something silly that still gives your brain something to work on, it’s a good one to pick up.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun, nice story and graphics, interesting characters, for the price it's sold at - I think it's worth buying (even better on sale)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just your average door to door salesperson trying to make a living and meeting the required sales of the week. Very fun dialogue with interesting characters, although some questionable. The art style is good, it having an interesting story along with having multiple endings (good or bad). Wish the game could be longer but it is alright. Worth a shot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun little indie game that deserves more recognition
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very entertaining little game. So many different interactions, so many different endings, a lot of content for a great price!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Talk to Strangers is a simple satirical game. Based around talking to potential customers, discovering their quirks and eventually figuring out how to sell to them. The dialogue is cute. The characters are distinct. There's enough intrigue to get you through the full experience. But not much more. Giving this a recommendation for as long as it's on sale. A few bucks is well worth it for this short, but enjoyable, experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't have any venom toward this game, though I do regret purchasing it. The art is fun and the basic premise is fine, but the dialogue is often very odd. While there are multiple options for any given response, often many of them feel like wording the same answer slightly differently, so it feels less like I'm making choices and more like I'm picking the flavor of my response. It's not hateful, but I don't feel like it delivers on its premise and it ultimately wasn't for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really short to complete once, but it has a lot of re-play value - the whole fun is in discovering all the different paths and secret endings. If your memory isn't too great it might get a little frustrating as sometimes it's quite difficult to memorize all the dialogue choices (can always make some notes if you really need it). Overall if you like quirky, fast text-based games, I'd definitely give this one a go.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This weird little game is great! I saw it on youtube being played by DangerouslyFunny, and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. It's quirky, creative, and goes much deeper than I initially thought. There are up to 18 achievements, and 36 different endings! You can easily spend hours digging for all of the treasure this game has to offer. There are so many options / combinations, and each house is a different world with characters that each have their own personalities. There are some…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not perfect, but quite remarkable I completed this game in about six hours, with the help of a video playthrough for the true ending. First, its flaws: Half the houses are locked off until a day or two into each playthrough, which makes finding their different branches very time-consuming. The developers helpfully indicate which options will lead to a sudden and abrupt ending if you've reached that ending before, I really wish they could indicate which options lead to abrupt no-sales if…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea of a game where you try to sell items door to door struck me as more than a little odd. I took the chance on it, as I was looking to spend a small amount on a time-filler game when I don't want to play something more time consuming. I'm glad I took the chance on it. Much more fun than I'd thought it'd be. Nice sense of humour to the game, and one that I'll play time and again whenever I have a few spare minutes. At this price, it's worth buying!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very funny game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A mere product of late capitalism. As we all are.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was very fun, clever and strangely similar to real life. Trying to sell my products while protecting my fellings as a saleswoman broke my heart into pieces, but at the same time the game managed to glue it all togheter again by making me laught with unusual situations and well written lines. It was a nice way to spend my time, I hope it makes me a better stranger to talk to in the future :)

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →has rage & depression meters that you can fix with substance abuse. realistic customer service worker simulator
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →How in the heck did someone make a game about being working class in a capitalist hellscape fun and charming? Very short game realistically but it can take you a while to figure the ins-and-outs of all the endings, the dialogue, the different households etc Also impeccable art style really.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →9/10 Had a great time playing this, there's so much to discover and it's not time consuming at all Brief case giv suck suck btw
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Helps with my anxiety and really good simulator
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's hard to describe some things about it but it's a cartoony door to door salesman tactics game with various side plots and stories going on. Some funny, some just weird, and it can throw you wild cards at different days / time of the day / what your dialogue choices are, etc. It's a good game, but all you really have to do is memorize lines for the most part in order to succeed so after a while it loses it's edge. It has good style, it's fun, worth the $3 or whatever it is now. I mean, who…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually had to pull out a notepad and make notes. Short, frustrating, depressing experience you replay over and over looking for secrets. Absolutely recommended if you are into this kind of thing, which I am -- if games like Death & Taxes and Don't Feed the Monkeys are up your alley, this is a good (and inexpensive) bet.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →became a clump of spiders. would recommend. 10/10.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short but Comical game, very much worth the price. I would highly suggest this for someone who wants a quick game to play thats funny but will take a couple of playthroughs to get all the right decisions and/or endings. Also dont gamble with death
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's more I can say on this I'm sure, but the moral of it is: this game is worth your time and money
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game has alot of replay value and nice mechanics when u have 3 choices to say giving the situation and the style of art choice not to mention each house has thier own story and way of how they affect the player (good or bad) and the amount of endings is great and intresting take and great music on the mood for the morning sale and to the night time sale in the dark in the end it is a great piece of work if they expanded it even further (as an example) i would totally buy it to get more…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played "Talk to Strangers" for a couple of hours only. It is addictive and you need to pay attention to the notes and dialogues in order to be successful. You need to fulfill your duties as a sales person, but at the same time, you need to look after your health, your work/life balance. You need to keep an eye on your mood/health, and keep working. It is a snippet of the real life and you really sympathize with the protagonist. It looks like a simple game, but don't be fooled! You need to…
