No, really. THERE WAS NO NEED FOR THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ YOU GREEDY ♥♥♥♥♥! Now we have to wait a month or two for mods to update. ♥♥♥♥ this company, that is all I can say at this point. A quick edit: For people that are saying "just downgrade, read-only the manifest, etc.", I already handled that by the time the first…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Modders built the soul of this game. Bethesda keeps trying to sell it back to us. Fallout 4 was once a sandbox for creativity. Now it’s a treadmill for monetization. Bethesda’s latest update cycle feels less like support and more like sabotage, breaking mods, forcing updates, and re-selling the same game with a fresh coat of monetized paint. I didn’t ask for Creation Club clutter. I didn’t ask for stealth updates that nuke my load order. I asked for stability, respect for modding communities,…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thanks for breaking 10 years of community mod support. Very cool Bethesda, very cool.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Greediest company known to man. Took free mods created by the community, copied it, and sells it as a product in the mods market while pushing updates to break community mods.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh, you're watching the "Big Game" for the ads? How simple-minded of you, how disgustingly consumerist. Hope you enjoy your bitcoin-funded AI soda pop or whatever!! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to this 30-minute Nintendo Partner Direct that concludes with a Fallout 4 port for Switch 2
unlabelledView post →Thanks for breaking 10 years of community mod support. Do you even understand why your games are or in recent times "were" as popular as they were? It's mods and the people who fix your games! And now you started breaking not only your game but also a lot of the mods that made them the evergreens they were... Look at Starfield, ever wondered why it isn't played a lot? Guess what, missing mods... I am happy you didn't break the freshly released Star Wars mod.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WOW! Anniversary upgrade for 53,49$! :'D Please don't support this, this is the reason videogames are so expensive now. Unbelievable. The base game, with GOTY, is enough, and very worth it. i have GOTY and its still 53,49$ to upgrade. Dont bother upgrading, just play the base GOTY. Trust me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bethesda? Please stop releasing updates to 10y+ old games. Just breaking mods and frustrating players at this point. Also, old bugs are not getting fixed and more are being introduced with each updated. Plz focus on Elder Scrolls VI & Fo5. Let the rest be, except Fo76,
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I will recommend the game but dont buy it on Steam or Epic. Buy it on GoG. Benefits for Buying it on GoG are: No DRM Often on Sale Game Version 1.10.163 (really good if you want to mod the game in peace) "Downside" for Buying it on GoG are: No Creation Club (if anyone would even care about it)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thanks for breaking ten years worth of mods, Bethesda, and not even adding an option to roll back the update. A 0/10 Bethesda move. Would not recommend.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Congratulations Bethesda on breaking a game 10 years after it came out. Nobody wants your garbage paid mods and anniversary edition updates, You broke Skyrim and it took months and lot's of good will out of the community to roll back to previous versions or update all the mods around your disaster which you only made worse with every update. Now you have done the same thing with Fallout 4, This is why your company is a joke now and you make games like Starfield and have to pay studios to make…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →IF YOU ARE NEW TO FALLOUT 4, DO NOT BUY THE ANNIVERSARY EDITION. REPEAT: DON'T! I have not bought the AE and thus still recommend the game. There is nothing in the Creation Club you need (in fact, I'd argue along with MATN that it makes the experience worse for first-time players). PLease, if you are new to the franchise, don't hurt yourself. Just get the GOTY without the other nonsense. You can still pick up individual creation club items later, without AE. Just in case of confusion (as one…

unlabelledView post →To new fans of Fallout... Creation Club "paid Mods" is not worth it... Premium currency is awful for a non-MMO game. Get the original 6 DLCs, and mod game to pre Creation Club status.. Check Youtube or Nexus mods for information. I say again, the Creation Club content overloads the game, and introduces hundreds of bugs, and many performance issues. (Make sure to get the old Unofficial Fallout 4 Game of the Year edition patch.) Also make sure to mod back in the "Wanderer" song to the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game wasn't the greatest when it launched, but modders did their best to make it a better experience. Eventually they made it a decent game through their work. Bethesda, egotistical children that they are, couldn't stand that somebody made their game better than them and released a patch that made the game worse and nuked the mods. Two years later, they did the same thing again just to make sure they got rid of anybody who still had the will to dis-enshittify their product. As always,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game itself is amazing, I´d imagine most people have already played it long ago as this game had released 10 years ago. But if you haven´t played it and are thinking about getting this amazing game, whatever you do DO NOT GET THE ANNIVERSARY EDITION. Get game of the year instead. Anniversary edition just gives you some "creation club" items, I say some because 80-90% of them are JUST SKINS and different colors for your pip-boy, power armor, clothes and weapons.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What's your ranking of Bethesda Game Studios' games? Here's mine for today; I haven't played Oblivion: 1. Fallout 3 2. Fallout: New Vegas 3. Starfield 4. Morrowind 5. Skyrim 6. Fallout 76 7. Fallout 4
unlabelledView post →If you're new to Fallout 4, I highly recommend to look for "The Midnight Ride" modding guide to save you from a lot of hassles from the bugs/glitches that are still exist in the game 'till this day. Even if you are not into mod, it's still highly recommend to follow the guide until the first "Base finish". That way you can enjoy the game without worrying about bugs/glitches and CTDs pops out of nowhere.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bethesda for the love of god, stop updating this game. every time it updates it breaks all the mods and makes it even more of a pain in the ass to mod the game, and all they ever add are garbage paid mods that nobody wants. your audience is literally begging you to do absolutely nothing, because the community has already fixed your game, but you won't listen

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would be great game if Todd Howard and bethesda would just focus on creating a sequel game (like elder scroll 6) or creating new game series instead of dropping a useless update that completely ruins all mod for the game

unlabelledView post →I want to thank Bethesda for charging me 20 quid for Fallout 4's 10th Anniversary for some extra pip-boy colours and rewarding me by making my game unable to boot at all. Even with the new script extender I had to remove every mod and reinstall everything. EPIC!!!!
unlabelledView post →Bethesda, I love this game and have been playing it for 9 years now since it came out in 2016. If anyone at Bethesda is reading this - PLEASE JUST LEAVE FALLOUT 4 ALONE!!! We have no need - and no desire - for any new updates or creation club content. Your updates keep breaking our modded playthroughs and forces us to spend even more hours at downgrading Fallout 4 and fixing our mods. If you do not want anymore negative reception, THEN CUT IT OUT WITH THE UPDATES!!! Work on Fallout 3 Remastered…

unlabelledView post →The Fallout TV series is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. It managed to ruin my favorite game of all time. You might ask yourself, “Why?” Not because the series itself is bad, but because Bethesda saw an opportunity to turn a 10-year-old game into a quick hype-driven cash grab. Instead of simply creating a separate Steam version or releasing an Anniversary Edition, they pushed out sloppy updates that broke long-established mod setups, seemingly to capitalize on a new generation…

unlabelledView post →It's a fairly good game except the developers can't stop messing with ♥♥♥♥ and keep ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up everyone's mod lists. I can't play it right now because of the update they just did and won't be able to until certain mods get updated. Was this update necessary? no it was not. This is a pattern with these developers and it's getting really annoying. I've half a mind to uninstall this game simply because I'm tired of this pattern.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stop updating the game and destroying mods, just give us a beta branch or option to rollback already ffs
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would love to understand how they think they can charge FORTY DOLLARS. For a re-release of a BADLY broken game, that's needed heavy patching ever since release. They did nothing up until now to fix it, and now they want $40 bucks so you can upgrade to another version that's just as broken. And given their history, we know they'll never fix this one either. Out of their minds. Completely detached from reality.

unlabelledView post →BETHESDA!!!!!!!!!! You're killin us with these ridiculous "updates". Leave a truly great game be. You want to get more money into your greedy hands, develop a new game like a sequel or something. But stop destroying games that are actually worth us investing our time into.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The main reason I got into Bethesda games was for the mods. They keep messing that up, and at this point, it feels intentional, like they’re trying to force people into interacting with their paid mods system.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hello, just wanted to give a huge “thank you” to the devs for completely ruining my experience with this update. I bought all the DLCs before the update and actually had around 10 hours of fun. Then this so-called “great update” came out and completely broke Fallout 4. The game now skips the initial settings screen entirely, and when it finally launches, it only displays about 1/10 of the screen. It’s literally unplayable. And before anyone says it: YES, I verified the game files. YES, I…
