Fallen Knight is a 2D side-scrolling platformer with stage-based gameplay recently released onto Steam. Looking elsewhere, apparently the game had been on Apple Arcade since late 2019, so I am curious as to find out if anyone has tried both versions and tell us what the differences are. Anyway, as most side-scrolling platformers go, you…

The assassin path provides a hardcore challenge. [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35180752-3-point-play/] Follow our curator for similar games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fallen knight has some great graphics, fun boss fights, and a handful of fun fresh ideas like the honor point shop, but a loose, inconsistent controls undercut much of what is an otherwise solid experience. Check out my review here and judge for yourself! https://youtu.be/wulCIuNNU18
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played through the game on stream on Casual difficulty to see what all is there. Was fun and don't intend to force people to check my video just to get my two-cents on the matter. The Good: This game was very fun to play through. Visually it was good. Sounds were good as well. Each of the bosses had their own thing going as you'd expect from a game in similar fashion. The Bad: Controls are admittedly slightly.... off? Making precise movements are tough at times. Getting used to the proper…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR: Pretty and has potential in concept, but sloppily done. Get it on sale Fallen Knight's initial trailer seems to sell a very nice looking and crisp side scrolling dash n' slash with a sort of morality system in choosing "the path of violence" or "the honorable path" while the description calls it "Dark-Souls like". While the visuals are quite nice, the gameplay is actually mediocre side scrolling dash n' slash with a somewhat janky counter system and absolutely nothing about it could be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TlDR: Buy the game if you like mega man zero or if it's on sale When I first played this game on Apple Arcade the game controlled quite poorly(with or without a controller.) After buying the game on steam on sale to play the last campaign(the Arcade version was unlisted,) I noticed that the controls were significantly better, quite good in fact. Reading other reviews, it appears that they improved the controls at some point as they all had the same issue I used to have. The big problems the…

I might also mention my published series, the Fae Queen's Court. I look forward to getting back in this game! #FantasyIndiesSpooktober

Stiff and slippery were the best way to describe it then. Now game just unfortunately falls on the line of painfully mediocre but it does have great ideas. Fallen Knights jarring audio and often devoid of sound cutscenes and levels. Just puts me off but since it was most assuredly feels like it was designed for a different platform than PC. Given seeing new photos…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Visual graphic character design story and sound is awesome and challenge boss. I've try this game before on Apple Arcade seem look lots of improvements from mobile version. Good to try and it's worth with this price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Been having a play with Fallen Knight. Glad to see the devs are still actively working on it because although it's fun in its current state, it does need a little work. Enjoyed it as it was but I'll be keeping an eye out for updates. A very flashy platformer that's full of promise. In its current state the controls are a bit clunky and the levels and enemies need some tweaking but the devs are working on fixing it. Still fun. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →#FantasyIndiesJuly The setting in Fallen Knight is post repeated total societal collapse, a side effect of the BBEGs consuming gods. The first collapse was several thousand years ago and lasted for decades. It only stopped because the first Knight Vigilant figured out how to restore the gods.
unlabelledView post →It has a great visual style and sound design to match. Unfortunately, the rest of the game is incredibly frustrating. There is no explanation other than you "get wounded" for why you have no abilities. There is a thorough tutorial but it doesn't cover upgrades and honestly, losing QOL abilities like air dash and double jump made me turn the game off and not want to play anymore. https://youtu.be/4THi84qoBcE
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It so difficult, But it so much fun too.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game clearly had a lot of work put into which makes it even more of a shame that I can't recommend it. You can catch up on why in under 5 minutes with my quick review video. Nice to see it is a little cheaper than what I saw initially but I still think it's best to wait for a sale on this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBvNjPqlQrY Pros: • Cool enemy and boss designs • Fitting music that sounds great • Interesting and varied level design Cons: • Inconsistent controls make some…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It sucks this game sucks because if it didn't suck it'd be good. I was reading some reviews complaining about the controls and I thought to myself: "There's no way they are that bad." But I was wrong, they are that bad and worse. There is definitely something going on that I can quite put my finger on, something feels off. As other reviews have stated the game looks really nice with neat character and boss designs but it is almost unbearable to play in it's current state. I am going to hold…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite fun. I enjoy the movement a lot and the combat is good. I kind of suck at disarming but it is also a cool mechanic.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why so little reviews? Really cool action platformer, nice graphics, fun gameplay and works really well on deck 🙌🏼. I think I am getting a new favorite dev 😎
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Parries and assassinates. Potential is there, but still needs to be polished more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly to say despite how awesome this game looked on paper I can't currently recommend it. There is no mouse support, and the games controls feel very sluggish you can tell that it's been ported straight from handhelds.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fallen Knight has a great artstyle, and I love the mechanics that were copied from other games. However, despite these things, there are two things that I think need to be fixed. First, is your inability to move while attacking. I fully realize that when playing as Zero in Megaman X4, you have the same inability, but it is just as annoying here as it is there. I realize that this was intentional, but it still keeps me from enjoying myself. Secondly, the intro boss, while not difficult, just…

Developed by FairPlay Studios Co. Instead of retelling familiar medieval myths…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just played Fallen Knight and I feel like it would have been such a cool game if it was left cooking longer. I just paid the game on humble bundle sale and it still says trial version among other issues.
unlabelledView post →It's like if Sonic BOOM and Megaman combined together. That's the best thing I can say about this game. It's not good. It's not good at all. It looks beautiful, but plays like an unpolished game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game provides 2 major experiences via 2 Characters Lancelot (Action Platformer), and Galahad (Action Rough-like). it has a great boss fight combat and it is pretty fun if you could pass the first or second boss in the game. So you could get mostly access to the character upgrade that will make your life a lot easier. Yes, the game still has a very bad learning curve in the game. The game focus on the fight that you have to learn what the enemy and boss are doing then respond to them.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3rd Review I return here to play the DLC content and.... After 2 years, I changed my review to NOT recommend this game. BUGs are still there, seems like they don't care. --------------- 2nd Review In additional after I have played for very long with a series of updates, I still find bugs which are very critical in my opinion. Because they are not just bugs of false visual or dead pixels, they are bugs that our character or bosses are frozen and we are not able to continue playing. This forces…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game plays really well, you start with everything and you have a great time then all of a sudden you're robbed of your entire lifes worth of skills. Did I bump my head and forget how to dash? How is that even possible to go from being a kick ass knight to being a hobo with a shovel? The fights are designed well and I like the parry system however, forcing me to parry and "disarm" (lets face it, it's not a disarm, its a KO from a punch) to gain points that I only get to keep if I defeat…
