That said, I played this game when I was a kid, and man this game is terrible. The driving barely works, the courses are absolute dog-ass considering the vehicle physics, and half of the game's weapons and shields do effectively the same thing. I'm just glad it's here.

Runs great, it has all the slowdowns I remember at the exact same locations when maxing out the view distance, the physics are still fun, the upbeat electronic music still fits the game and the tracks flow as great as I remember.

Races in dethkarz begin packed with thirty racers which you will have to widdle down if you wish to succeed by using your built in weapons that recharge or item pickups scattered along the course. Stumbled upon it just by accident and just had to give it a try after all these years and it's still great. Sadly it also has all those old quirks. Sometimes it crashes which is especially sad considering how championships work (you can't save the game during championship season). Also almost every single race it glitches once. Steam wont refund as I played longer than 2 hrs. I love this game, but it be nice if they could make the drivers work for it. Quick Update! the game work files when you don't use steam to start it.
