60 of 170 · most liked firstHi, quick review time! I played a lot Moto Racer 1/2/3 and especially World Tour on PS1/PC back in the days so I'm rather sad, disappointed to give a no to MR4... MAIN PROBLEMS: Cannot change any keybinding through options menu (come on). Cannot change sensibility: unplayable even with a gamepad, it's way to high. Bike sounds are not very good, which is important for a racing game. Optimization is not perfect: sometimes textures take a little time to load and/or there are random FPS problems.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When I decided to review this game, I knew close to nothing about the Moto Racer franchise. So before playing it, I decided to educate myself by reading reviews and Wiki pages for the earlier entries in the franchise. The original Moto Racer was hailed “as the first outstanding arcade-style racer to appear on PC” and Moto Racer 2 had “more courses than its predecessor, a level editor, garnered positive reviews from critics, praising its graphics and variety of gameplay”, eventually being…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay i'll say that i kinda liked playing it at first, but then the problems with this game slowly came to me: -The difficulty in this game is unreal, borderline unfair, time laps consist of you not f##king up at all, then maybe a gold for ya, if you ♥♥♥♥ up even once, boom not even gonna pass the mission. -Opponents are usually equipped with speed boosters or some sh#t so they can always keep their speed to max speed and some times they get even faster than that lol -Physics not really…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played previous Moto Racer games and this one is not worthy to wear the title. It's a bad, cheap racing game. R.I.P Original Moto Racer series
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Now that I have completed the game, the bonus chapter, got all stars and completed all the challenges I am ready to write a review. I give it 7/10. The game is not too hard, just "git gud". No for real, it's not that hard. Just beware of your surroundings, almost every map has a shortcut and the cars has a pattern. First lap they are on one place. second lap they are on another and third on another one again. Just remember the pattern and it will be easy for you to dodge. No the AI is not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Arcade style racing, but really fun. Had no issues like some, used an Xbox & Steam controller both work well. Performance is great as well, especially for a racing game had too many that stutter but this is good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →you are penalised for driving offroad in the dirt biking events
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →needs keyboard mapping . A good acread bike racing after motogp 3 urt.. here is the fix anyway [/script/engine.inputsettings] ActionMappings=(ActionName="Autopilot",Key=O,bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False) ActionMappings=(ActionName="BackCamera",Key=Gamepad_RightThumbstick,bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False) ActionMappings=(ActionName="BackCamera",Key=R,bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False)…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No No No, This game is soo bad - Controls - AI - Price Really not worth too much Im glad i received it for free !
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is just unfinished. The graphics are low quality, with terrible pop in, and missing details in the distance. The physics can bug out when driving or running into other players. You can't use the Dpad in the menus... this is a game to avoid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is crashed,.... keymaping not working,..... Turn lef = Q turn right = A Developers must me retarded when programing controls movement. Its 2020,... please fix it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the way this game intentionally prevents me from wasting my time by consistantly automatically crashing after a minute of continuous game play - thereby reminding me I havce far better games to play. While it was fun trying to figure out how to manualy update config files to remap my keyboard keys and how to prevent Steam VR from launching for a game that doesn't support VR, the fun greatly diminished after I was able to play. 0.3 hours working out the controls and lack of VR-related…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →-neutral rating- The game sure looks good, and from the handful of hours I've played it, it was pretty funny. However, getting the controls to work properly beforehand is a hassle. This issue was NEVER properly addressed by the developers, despite all the user feedback over the years and initial updates. This was clearly designed for a console controller, the keyboard control implementation is an atrocity. We're talking about a racing game, for Pete's sake! Never finished the game because of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun game when you play in short bursts and it has split-screen multiplayer (online is dead so at least you got that ) but has 3 problems : 1-the difficulty is ridiculous imo, some races are too easy even at hard difficulty and some are way to difficult even on easy specially "hot lap and time attack" races, also imo this problem is related to the second one 2-some bikes/characters are better than others even when fully upgraded, no matter how good you are you cant win some races unless you use…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Moto Racer 4 is the ultimate game for anyone who loves motorcycles and doesn't mind a few bumps and bruises along the way. This game is so intense that you'll feel like you're actually racing through the streets, dodging cars and weaving through traffic. If you've ever wanted to live out your wildest motorcycle fantasies, then this is the game for you! The graphics in Moto Racer 4 are pretty impressive, with detailed scenery and realistic motorcycle designs. But let's be real, you're not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →4/10 Unbalanced and Bugged I reaaaally wanted to recommend this game, but there are many aspects that need to be pointed out, that make this game not so good. First, the few good points: the visuals are very nice, the combos are fun, and the rider customization is a very nice touch. Now, the bad points: We need to fix the keyboard mechanics ourselves, otherwise the game is unplayable, the devs never really updated a fix for it, which shows that they don't care at all about their own game;…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Offers nothing new or interesting. Just a motorbike game where you can do wheelies to go faster. It also stutters even though my pc can run Arma 3 smoothly. It's a big fat meh for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice , no optimisation for controls on PC. i realy can't play this game bcs i need controller for it so GG
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fu*ck Controller
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great, easy-to-start arcade-style motor racing game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of my fave motorcycle games. while its not the most realistic when it comes to things like what should make you crash it is by FAR the most fun. also i'm laughing at all the other reviews saying the handling and movement is trash and feels off, because you can tell they've never ridden a superbike at 250mph in a public road race. its honestly spot on for what it feels and moves like lol
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Many bugs and unbalanced difficulty
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When I played the first race in MR4, I was like “Yeah, this is a solid moto-racing game. I will definitely write a positive review.” But I then got to discover bad things. Really bad things. First of all, the game itself is great. The graphics are amazing, the soundtrack is good, and the maps are well designed. But let’s get to the problems… The main problem: The vehicle control is horrible. It is hard to drive straight or to just slightly turn left or right. At the beginning I drove like a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Keyboard mapping is nuts and doesn't work properly. Remapping doesn't work. It's ignoring your bindings. You can only steer in one direction. This game is broken, if you want to use a keyboard.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stupid sh!t of stupid sh!t. Bad network code when collisions aren't registered normally (after this game I played MX vs ATV All Out and there everything is smooth), ugly inertia when you turning and just a boring project all in all. Maximum causes one emotion – annoyance because control. BUT! If you get it for free or for a minimum minimum, then it’s fine. Still far from «Not great, not terrible» to the worse side, but if you're completely bored and there isn’t much choice in games... it’s…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loved Moto Racer back in the day. Don't try to play this with a keyboard and mouse now, though. Horrible.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Theres is no mode were you can just ride for fun and practice and 2 there is no tutorial on how to play and is almost impossible on pc
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cant turn left. ♥♥♥♥ this game

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game have very bad controls..
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I own this game on Playstation and i really loved it, but since i don't use the console anymore, i got it on PC, but i don't understand the hate for it on Steam, it's a good port, it's pretty much the console version, it just requires a controller to play, which isn't even an issue, if you are not lazy to download the controller app.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL:DR: Motor Racer 4 is a completely different game in the Motor Racer series, in more ways than one. Moto Racer 4 isn't an evolution of the series, it's a completely different game. Literally; it's been said to be ATV Drift & Tricks with a motorcycle themed reskin. I have not played ATV, but I don't think this is a bad thing. Even then, this entry to the series is not even made by DSI - but given the direction of their original publisher (if you know, you know), I'd say this is for the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- Definitely recommend for those who want to play ARCADE racers. - You will need a controller to really have fun - Fun just like Moto Racer 1, though I remember the music being nicer in that one. - Several bikes and characteristics - DLCs go on sale for like 90%, so buy it then. You get more bikes and tracks. So that's nice.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You cant customize the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls, and the ones they geave you are sh*t. Please add this feature in the future, i wont buy a joystick just for this
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game in Steam should be playable without Xbox gamepad, apparently this one is not one of those.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If your looking for an arcade style fun motorcycle - motocross or ATV type game like I was this might be it. Think excitebike meets the original manx tt and even elements of burnout dodging traffic at high speed that's the feeling it gives me. Great fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried to play this game two times, and i gave up both times. Pros: + decent graphics (only thing that attracted me to this game) + great concept (but it was poorly done) Cons: - boring - not that challenging - dull AI - controls are awful - i have played this game maybe 2hrs and there was only 3 maps switching in circle - lack of many things that would make game like this one great Thanks god i got this one for free, because i pity those who got this on discount or worse. 3.5/10!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's actually a lot to like here - the mix of road and offroad racing is very much like MR games of the past (the first 2, in particular, were awesomesauce) There's plenty of tracks/bikes/riders/unlocks here - lots of do - but there are a couple of issues I noticed It has a slightly dodgy UI - Backspace is marked as 'Return' which confused me for a while for example - it's not the best There are performance issues - sometimes the game just slows-down/stutters like hell It doesn't feel…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Haven`t had this much fun with a motorcycles game since Moto Racer 2!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I realy hoped to like this game but unfortunately i cannot recommend this one as it is now. There are better bike racing games. RIDE and Motogp are pretty fun and comprehensive games. This one has issues with keyboard and controllers. Audio is hurting my ears for some reason. Tracks don't look much realistic but still heavy on the gpu. Physics is not managable. There is a split screen and mainstream multiplayer modes. The single player mode requires you to pregress in career mode to unlock…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun racing game that you can play with your friends. The graphics are amazing, and it has pretty cool mechanics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The style system kills the game for me. You can win but you won't progress if you don't earn enough style points. So sometimes you have to drive the same cup over and over again to get the right amount. But during the race you get penalty points and more than on a few occasions you get a lot of penalty points. Sometimes you just wondering why.... For that sale price of 1,49€ it's ok, but I won't play it much after that review I guess.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The y-gen generally thrash around wildly, because they never got love from their parents and chose the wrong friends at school. That's how negative comments ratings mostly feel, instead of being constructive. The game is ofc a great one!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the worst racing games out there, would not play even if freetoplay. Developer team go find a job in the pharmaceutical industry leave the coding for the talented individuals.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Surprisingly I am quite enjoying this, even I am not into racing games so much. Yes, you absolutely have to fix the controls for keyboard. I almost abandoned the game for that, but after finding a quick fix I started playing and enjoyed it quite a bit! It's motorcycle racing. What else can I say? Nice visuals. Good physics. You crash into trucks and magically spawn in the track again (:
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You would think if you're doing something for the 4th time, you'd do it right.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You need a controller and it makes sense its a racing game .. I love it great one 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game looks promising, but that's about it. Once you actually play it, it's really frustrating. My main problem is with the campaign mode. There's just too many things to keep track of. You have to do certain things to earn victory. Achieving 100% is just extremely frustrating. It's hard to focus on the road ahead of you. And that's because you focus on the score. You keep focusing on the tricks and turbo. Then there's the ongoing traffic in the way. And you can memorize the track perfectly.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[Don't have a controller, so I can't provide any input from that angle.] Anyway, the keyboard controls on my Windows 10 PC is glitchy right from the start... but once you employ the solution mentioned in the discussion forums - "How do I change the PC controls?" (which entails editing a text file in the Local MR4 folder), everything should be fixed. Now, I am off to racing on my bike. And frankly, the game is not too shabby, although very arcade like and not too realistic. You can go on a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doesn't even start on Mac. Not worth the money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice variety of race types and courses, recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, but gets boring after a while.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Watch out if you've got an Oculus Rift - the game doesn't have VR support, but launches the Oculus software anyways and directs all sound to the headset (but not visuals). So you can play the game on your monitor with no sound. Not good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's incredible, but I and may others couldn't TURN LEFT with keyboard no matter what after 3 years of game relase! My controller not working too. What a crying shame. There's a fix in discussions.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice port, lazy jerks
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What Is Moto Racer 4 ? One of the worst racing games I had the displeasure of playing, the developers are so out of their minds that they shipped the game with a completely weird control setup because they probably didnt use the same QWERTY keyboards most people in the world uses, the control setup is just horrible the worst thing of all is that the developers also forgot to let you modify the keys in the configuration, they forgot such a basic function most games had, you can notice its just…
