This was a great game, this version is very buggy, but can be made marginly less buggy! Due to tips from users (bless you all), rather than the people I threw my money at. Some of the best features being the absolute control of your men and the way you can arrange them to your satisfaction and they don't run everywhere like some other games. Looking at you AoE III and Battle for Middle Earth. But I cannot recommend it. The one sold through steam crashes constantly and is basically unplayable. Don't waste your time or money on this. You will only get frustrated and mad that a great game is ruined.

I was such a fan of the first Cossacks:European Wars that I bought this again to try out on my now new PC. The lag was consistently insanely high on a gtx 1080 and i7. Don't buy this game it will be unplayable no matter what your PC is. Buy the first Cossacks instead.
