48 of 48 · most liked firstTough call I have had this game on my wishlist since 2019, simply because I loved the concept. Back then there weren't many screenshots, it was mostly concept art or just imagination. But I liked what I saw and I was intrigued by how it would play out. So I wishlisted the game and waited. Not many news about the game came out and I slightly expected it to disappear into the void forever. It's been three years since that day and today I got a notification saying it released. To be honest, I…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible assetflip. Awful graphics, emergencies dont make any fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good concept, It has been on my wishlist for almost 2 years. Poor execution. I felt like I was playing a mobile game except that I had actually paid money for it. Got bored very quickly. I could only imagine what it would be like if a player had ADHD. Also felt like I was playing a VERY EARLY Access game. Might try again in a few years if the devs can improve it greatly. Until then, it should be an early access or a mobile game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one is an F in the chat from me. This game is super repetitive after the first shift when to your horror, you realize the same emergencies are spawned every time. I couldn't bring myself to play past day three, almost an hour of gameplay repeatedly clicking on the same things. Also, full-screen notifications blocking inputs and no keyboard shortcuts to switch cams make for a frustrating experience on top of the quickly stale gameplay. Not to mention, as you progress eventually the game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First I'd just like to say thanks for the free code to check out your game but of course I still need to be honest. The game is extremely slow paced and repetitive, there's just no way I could create an entertaining Youtube video with the current state of the game. Suggestions: -Make the days waaay shorter. -Needs more variety of crimes as it's currently extremely repetitive. -Needs more variety in camera upgrades as that's the main motivation to playing the game. -I would recommend making…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is boring don't buy the game. You can play the game out in 1 hour.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mobile phone tier edit: well release it on mobile then?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very repetitive game with no challenge. Never knew there were so many pyromaniacs in one city neighbourhood.. Funny part, I even managed to arrest the same pyromaniac within 2 minutes from apart. Seems this city doesn't have judicial system at all!

You play as a Surveillance Officer in the City of Strife which is riddled with lawlessness and crime. You are in control of the surveillance cameras scanning the streets in search of any crime taking place such as muggings, graffiti, arson of cars or buildings. There’s also a lot of folks who just drop to the floor and require medical attention,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →worst game i have played in a long time 911 and 112 operator was so much better this game is boring and is really not worth playing one bit
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its gets old after a while and bugs
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EDIT: Changed review to negative, devs have completely abandoned the game with 0 bug fixes since launch Regardless of the "mostly negative" at the time of review I decided to purchase the game and try it out myself after having it on my wishlist for over a year. The game does feel new, moreso that it's in alpha release than a full one, but keeping in mind that the game has been made by a small indie company and this is their first real game I'd say it has potential going forward. Pros: -…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is one of those Idle clicker games. in honesty i was expecting so much more. I love the idea of the camera based game. but personally i would like to see it, more about story progression, where the city is open to you and you hear of a bank robbery or something on a specific street, you got to find the street and the crime, then chase the culprits, with the use of the cameras, to find where they hide, to send the police to the location, they can cause accidents and fires as they run…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its abandoned or something
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a recommendation with a BUT! So please read. The concept is awesome. It is not well executed and a bit boring and repetitive after a while. It needs more crimes, it needs some variation, it needs more interaction between first responders and the event happening. But, I did feel like I got about $8.50 worth of fun out of this game (even though I was sent a copy for free). That said, if you are really interested in this game you may just enjoy it, but keep in mind other negative reviews…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not fun very little to-do
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[ENG/ESP] NOT WORTH YOUR TIME I was really hyped for City Eye's release since it got delayed a couple times, so I bought it as soon as it came out (today), but this shouldn't be a fully realeased game: The game is full of bugs and there's a LOT of room for improvement. City Eye should be in "Early access", but it isn't, so don't expect any improvements to the game. It definatelty is a great concept, but this is not a game worth buying. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I already wasted mine for you :)…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's barely a game. There is practically zero content and what there is looks like alpha, not worthy of a full release at all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's hard at first to figure out what you're supposed to do but overall fun and entertaining to watch people do funny things on the camera's in the city. I played it several times during the week and watched some video's on what to do. once you figure out stuff it goes by pretty fast and you have to stay focused. it's only recommended for people who love a challenge, anyone who doesn't will write a negative review and only play it for 5 minute's.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A phone game for kids. Kinda fun in the first 10 mins but then it's all repetitive. Don't buy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm choosing to leave this as a "Positive" review because the game just recently released and the developer at least seems to be active, rather than tossing out a product and disappearing like I've seen others do. Also, honestly, it somewhat does as advertised. The good points are that it's extremely simple and easy to play and understand. It mostly does what's advertised. It's a good game for those times you just want to turn your brain off. Turn on some music and chill, maybe just play it to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is a mindless game and becomes a repetitive but would rather play this after a long day's work than grind and die in other games. it becomes obvious where incidents happen so you occasionally know immediately where the indecent occurs as it is not random. the only RNG is the time of the event and if it occurs you know where to find it. There is some room for improvement but it is a nice laid back time killer for tired minds. I do recommend the game based on the price vs content.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I picked "recommend" but it's actually more neutral. It's a cool concept and if you like repetitive games this might even be for you. Because it's very repetitive and there's not a lot of content. But it does get more challenging over time. So if you're the right person for this kind of game it might be worth the current price (CHF 8.92 = $9.47) I might refund it though because I'm not that type of person.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a bad game had expect more animations in the game that you see cops get out of the car and so on or that you see ambulance staff and firetruck staff see working and so on this is for me more a mobile game nothing more
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is really boring... If you really want to try this game, try to do it within 2 hours, like this you can ask for a refund...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best part is that some of the criminals look like my ex. Easily the newest member to the 100% achivements club
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This had so much potential. I expected a crossover between 112 Operator and Orwell, and I got the german sim Security Desk Guard Simulator. Gameplay You progress in the game by unlocking 4 city blocks, in which you can install/upgrade 3 types of cameras. The basic cameras will have you click between them, and watch for a helpful icon indicating an event, and then you look for something suspicious, and click on it to pop a circular menu to dispatch services (which nets you money for cameras)…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very repetitive.. Basically one mechanic.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/sgi7MweAKpc
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have to agree with others good concept but the game really is mobile phone at best. It's boring and the events tend to constantly spawn at whatever camera your looking out of. It's not even fun. It feels like a real minimal effort went into this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →City Eye, developed and published by SIG Publishing, is a surveillance-focused city management simulation that places players in the role of a central monitoring operator responsible for maintaining order in a crime-prone urban environment. Released on Steam in 2022, the game builds its identity around the concept of overseeing a network of CCTV cameras, identifying suspicious activity, and dispatching emergency services in response to unfolding incidents. On paper, the premise carries strong…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i just like this anyway. ok. :P i can actually look for even a lan router crate with a lock from my real administration and choose to open the lan crate if i am going to do that, said me and my administration, but it is any crate, is i can do that if it is a crate from my administration if i am not opening it, i guess i dont have to for a minute, if i am not going to i will just leave the crate closed, and their is likely content from space in it, about an administration it could even be about…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really bad - avoid if it's worth anything to you. Repetitive and needlessly broken.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's alright and the loading screen music is an absolute BAP
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cheap and cheerful. Great concept. The camera controls take some getting used to as does detecting the crimes but once you get into the swing of things it's quite fun. It can be a little repetitive. It could do with a tutorial (even a video) showing the different types of crimes and expectations. For example, I recently found the 'wanted' people in the camera menu - am I supposed to be keeping an eye out for these. It passes a little bit of time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea is nice and it sounds very interesting. But it is not! This is the map view where you see where you have cameras, see which cameras could show an incident and switch to cameras: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3093066461 The view from the cameras is pretty nice: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3093066909 Here I am zoomed in to an incident: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3093066866 Ok, the idea sounds good,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall I do not recommend this game. Looks like the devs have stopped updating the game right after they released it. The concept is there, but the execution isn't done very well. I hope they come back and update the game when they can. Definitely a shame to see something not do well when there aren't many games like this in the current market
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incomplete, one-dimensional, provides about 10 minutes of entertainment.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good little game - though limited in scope. Easy game mechanics, tests your observation skills but gets repetitive once you learn what to look for and have the more advance cameras set up. If you buy when it is on sale isn't a complete waste of money for the few hours of game play. Unfortunately very much feels like it should be 'Chapter 1; levels 1-4' of a much bigger game. You get to the end and expect to progress to a new cities with new crimes to monitor on the CCTV system.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea looks fun but it's really not worth the time or money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It could be better, Graphic normal is not great, all missions are repeated
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wishlisted and waited for dunno maybe 2 years ? This application is a joke. Have you ever wanted to watch cyberbug2077 and its npcs in lowest quality with 200 dpi camera ? Thats the game you are looking for Seriously what is the point of trying to catch emergency situations when there is magic notification tells you: "there is some already just look around".(Basic 1st tier camera) Whole point of game is calling cops or firetrucks etc. to situations right ? You see someone guys fighting,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed the challenge of the game, I plan to play it a lot more. It makes you have to observe situations as they happen and be on top of everything as you go. You do have to be ready for this game it will get a hold of you and I recommend it highly if you like a challenge although it may seem boring.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm writing a positive review because there are no neutral ones. It is an interesting concept, an though it IS repetitive, this is not a bad game at all. You simply have to love using cameras. I hope it will be updated a bit, for the moment, you basically just call emergency services on incident which are quite obvious; Controls could also be better, stearing the camera with mouse is not very quick.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is exactly like the prologue shows so if anyone is wondering what the game is like i would recommend to start there. its a fast moving game with incidents happening thick and fast. The game can be easy by keeping the number of cameras to a minimum (boring) or harder by buying new cameras and expanding your areas
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very simple and easy to pick up but thats it. Really belongs as a mobile game it gets boring very soon.
