35 of 35 · most liked firstWow... This game literally blew my mind. I'm ashamed i hadn't heard of it until it was gifted to be randomly by a friend. Apparently this was first made available (free) for the phone but i can't imagine how i would play this on the phone being as hard as it is. (To me anyways...) Lost in Harmony is an amazing Rhythm game that's also a runner type game. You ride around on a skate board dodging lightning, bombs, sheeps, old men on bicycles, Tetris blocks, Facebook likes (lol), and bears (n…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game on android but the pc version is very disappointing. Would have been great if they just put in a better control system for the rhythm parts. The problem is that the notes move horizontally across the screen and the buttons you need to press S D F G are listed vertically which makes thing unnecessarily difficult and confusing when the button layout on a keyboard is horizontal. I really don't understand why the devs couldn't use simple logic here and make the notes travel…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game’s presentation is simply breathtaking. The amazing visuals and the way they are synchronized to the soundtrack is nothing short of brilliant. It’s a shame the controls, namely the button presses that appear in the top-right corner, cause undue frustration and really take you out of the game. The developers really should have evaluated this when porting this game over to Steam, as what may be practical on a touch screen is highly impractical here. You have to do awkward…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tl;dr: If you came here for some plot pre-Road 96: Mile 0, there is none. Also, the achievements are broken and have been for half a decade, not even fixed when they threw this character into their new game. I guess they assumed no one would come back to this. Good assumption on their part, silly of me to check this out. Anyway, game goes like this: Male main character's lady friend (no depth of relationship shown, so we'll just say "friend") is sick and in the hospital. They text briefly,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →at quick glance, controls are awfully positioned, binds for the key hitting parts are just bad. +Visuals +Music -controls -layout -positioning of the rhythm game part
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lost in Harmony tells the tale of Ana and Kaito. You play as Kaito during dream sequences in which you collect stardust in order to gather points and avoiding incoming obstacles. During these sequences cutscenes play where Kaito texts his bestfriend/girlfriend in order to progress the story. The music in this game is really well made and composed by really great artists. I really recommend giving the full soundtrack a listen. While this game is free on mobile. You have to pay for certain…

The music is bombastic, the style is turned up to 10 and it controls like a dream. In this game, your character and his partner are racing towards the camera on his skateboard. You have to collect star bits, avoid obstacles and tap buttons to the beat as the setting around you evolves. Because the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gotta say, this was more impressive than I thought, seeing as it is a port of a mobile game. But that being said - it's done rather well. You have two storylines to play - They both have the same gameplay mechanics, but different levels and tracks. You are tasked with just going forward, towards the screen, moving to avoid dangers, jumping over obstacles, and following the stardust path to earn points. It also has sections interspersed for rhythm-action button presses ( of which I do terrible…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a pretty straightforward port of a mobile game but without the ads/microtransactions portion of it so don't expect too much. But the game itself has quite a touching story and a very good soundtrack (mostly remixes of famous classical pieces). The controls in the "guitar hero" parts could be better because the notes fly sideways while the keybinds are more suited to a top-to-bottom direction so you have to constantly rewire your brain which is difficult in the faster parts. 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The phone version is much better in my opinion, but I liked playing it on PC too. The game is NOT a visual novel, like some expected. (Based on the reviews here.) There are two stories, both broken into multiple levels. The stories come up between these levels, and give a brief context to them. The levels are great, and just as I remembered them. The base is a running game, on a 5-lane road, with obstacles coming from the front, from behind, and from the two sides. (Excluding the ones coming…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lost in Harmony, developed by Digixart and published by THQ Nordic, is a rhythm-based action game that seamlessly merges music and storytelling into a deeply emotional experience. Unlike typical rhythm games that focus purely on precision and score, Lost in Harmony uses its gameplay to advance a touching narrative, creating a compelling synergy between player interaction and storytelling. From the very beginning, the game draws players into the dreamlike world of Kaito, a young boy grappling…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Made out of two stories, Lost in Harmony is a rhythmic game with great visuals, really fun, and at times unfair (but alright after getting used to it), gameplay that delivers a solid experience. Kaito's Adventure is the first half of the game, with a heartbreaking story told in-between levels, with the levels being shown to us as "dreams" representing the actual events in an artsy way, which made me really enjoy it as a way to tell a short and sad story. The music is also spectacular and is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An intense, strange experience that is totally a hidden gem if you can get past the insane learning curve, occasionally broken game play and iffy graphics. You have two different methods of play- one involves dodging obstacles as the player runs toward the screen (Kinda like Crash Bandicoot) and the other quickly playing musical notes as they appear on the screen. The musical note part has no learning curve, the game basically throws it all at you immediately and expects you to win. It's very…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I only played Lost in Harmony to get some backstory on the character Kaito who appears in the new Road 96 game but I did enjoy the musical component of this game regardless. It would have been better if they incorporated more vocal songs instead of the instrumental classical music, which probably explains why I enjoyed Dream 5 so much. You can't expect much from this game's graphics and story since it appears to be a port of a mobile game. I only wish they did more with the story; they could…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was made for phone, the music sequence is impossible on pc i dont need to explain it theres other review that did.The devs made such a beautifull game back then ,only wish they made so u can change keybinds for pc.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game somewhere around 9 years ago and never made it past (i think) level 5-7, I'm glad I finally got to see the end to the story, they really meant a lot to me back then and still do to this day:)

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The achievements for this game don't seem to work, unless I'm doing something wrong. I played through all 14 chapters and all 12 chapters of the Robot adventure but none of the achievements are unlocked. Aside from that minor gripe I really like this game and this developer, especially after Road 96 as this character shows up again in Road 96. I'll be eagerly following everything this developer does, including their next game Tides of Tomorrow!

Today is Lost in Harmony, a game sent to the queue six years ago and pulled out to give my thoughts on it as I work on full queue catchup. seafoamgaming.com/2024/04/19/l...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is harder than Dark Souls. Whose idea was to make it so hard? Not recommended
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a amazing game, but this is a poor port of the mobile version. For context this game originally came out for mobile devices, with a control scheme built for that, along with a level creator and a hub for people to post and play these. Though the port runs well, this port does not have that feature and its control scheme is less than ideal. Due to some severe oversights when porting the game, it is a pain in the ass to change controls (you have to restart the game to do it and decipher…
