Just a wealth of inspiration for what we do. TRON: Catalyst is, fittingly, a bit of an ode to that classic world building.

It uses a chip called an FPGA to emulate the hardware itself rather than the games. You can also have it mimick other systems, like the Super Nintendo if you make a core for it.

unlabelledView post →It's not as plug-and-play as the Analogue stuff. There are things to set up first to get everything working properly (understanding the Mister UI, bios, enabling ps1 ports). While it's coming soon, you can't currently start a game from disc (although it's not difficult to rip cd-based games on PC).

But any of the Analogue consoles I have are set to use this, since they all output HDMI. Also my GameCube outputs HDMI, so that should be supported as well.
