"anatomical saleswomen," one of whom had recently married for money, and conspired to create a made up religion in such a way that dissed all organized religions by revealing them to be business models that prey on the fearful. https://youtu.be/unP1_rWWGCw From that moment, I knew this rather…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Religion is believing in something without any evidence Agatha Knife is sweet little adventure game where you play as a girl Agatha who's on the quest to create her own religion. The game is a bit dark, weird and twisted. If you played the predecessor – Mechanika, you'll love this one. Agatha is a girl who loves animals and she also kills them and eats them. She decides to invent her own religion of carnivorism and the adventure begins. Gameplay is very simple yet the game is full of humor…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting and funny at times, I enjoyed exploring this world. I played MechaNika about 4 years ago and now I am thinking I should play it again because I do not remember much from it. The story is linear and the puzzles are mostly straight-forward, but that should not stop you from enjoying the adventure. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not "worst game ever" kind of bad, but quite a downgrade from (the devs previous game) Mechanika (I might be biased here since I really enjoyed Mechanika, but oh well). - A lot of the "puzzles" are painfully easy and feel more like fetch quests than actual puzzles. - Some of the dialogue is way too long and just points out the obvious ("here is a fetch quest. Why? Because we need this item because it's important"ish) without a lot of wit or cleverness. It feels like a lot of filler…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a fan of point and click adventure games, and while I don't remember many details about it, I liked Mechanika enough to want to play the sequel. But I strongly disliked this game. I enjoyed almost none of my time with it. As a P&C game, it has very few puzzles, and the few it does include are terrible (in particular a puzzle regarding a library book might be in the top 10 of most nonsensical I've ever seen, and I've played hundreds of P&C games). The worst part of it, though, was how…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Agatha Knife" is a indie point & click game from the developers behind the similar game "MechaNika". Compared to other games, "Agatha Knife" is a very unique game with a very interesting story and gameplay. I would describe it as an addictive game from just playing 10 minutes in, the music is very pleasant and suits the game very well. "Agatha Knife" also have fun puzzles that you need to solve, some a bit harder than another. You will defenetily find yourself stuck in the game with a "must"…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unlike most of the commenters here, I couldn't even get through the game. I loved Agatha's character and story. But the pro atheist/anti religious rhetoric was too much for me, and I'm an atheist. I wish they had just put a little of this topic in rather than beating me over the head with it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →LGBTO+ lecture and mentions of prostitution within the first 10 minutes of gameplay, Should be a warning at least on the store page for those of us just looking for a game and not a life lesson.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mixed feelings, but overall good enough, I'd say. Agatha is super cute (although a psycho), the story is original and funny, the graphics look nice and it has some good music pieces. However, the gameplay itself is not that good. There's a lot of running around the town, a couple of puzzles are pretty obscure, and the game sort of asumes that you are going to check stuff out and talk to everyone even if you don't have any reason to. All of this is probably minor if you are a patient player…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While not as awesome as MechaNika, Agatha Knife is a very good game that doesn't fail to deliver what it is promising. It has a lot of dark humor, unique characters, and many funny dialogues in it. Mango Protocol must not stop creating point & click games, since they're so good at it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love point & click? Enjoy dark humor? Want to support some up-and-coming developers? Mango Protocol! I beat this in about three sessions. That feeling you get when you put two and two together in a point & click is very much here. That paired with interesting characters, a quest to create a new religion, and the love of meat.. you have Agatha Knife. I recommend checking out MechaNika before playing this as it's the first game they released.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely loved this game, coming from someone who grew up obsessed with games like Sally Face, Fran Bow, Little Misfortune, and others alike, this game had me in love! The main character is absolutely adorable, and the story line was very entertaining! I recommend this to people who are into dark themes.

Gin would approve it too... if you only put grass on top, call it hipster food and sell it for 35 dollar the piece! ): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2070404147 A lovely and humorous point & click adventure, with colorful and hand-crafted art, in which you help Agatha to save her mom's butchery from insolvency. For that Agatha has to create a new religion (carnivorism, in German: Fleischfressertum) to lure... uhm... make animals believe that the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this game because the premise is so ridiculously dark and I like that sense of humor. But I didn't find it as funny or entertaining as I expected I would. It wasn't challenging or intellectual or even stupid, it was just kind of boring.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Agatha Knife is absolutely wonderful. The art is beautiful and the music is really pleasing to listen too. I think the things that really stands out about this game is the puzzles, characters, and story. The puzzles aren't insanely simple or annoying long like in a lot of point and click adventures. I always knew what my goal was though out the game, but there was a few times I really had to stop and think how to work a puzzle out. There is a hint system in the game, but it's not the normal…

Took insane amount of time, experimenting with lighting, creating a drawing fully on a tablet and meat. So much meat. #agathaknife #indiegame #fanart #art

unlabelledView post →In the words of Bill Wurtz, "You could make a reli- no, don't." The story of a little girl who decides to start a fake religion for the animals that she kills in her mom's butcher shop. It's less thought-provoking and more just a series of slams against religion. Not to mention 500 hot takes about human sexuality that the author felt the need to throw into the game. In addition, the gameplay was mostly good until the Enigmarillion bit and beyond, which I thought needed some more in-game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was really hopeful about this game. It sounded like a great premise, having to battle between your love of killing animals & wanting their companionship at the same time. The simple animations, pour sound design and long winded puzzles can be forgiven for most part, but what was a deal breaker for me was the derogatory discriminating terms & ideology throughout. After just under 2 hrs I couldn't bring myself to continue as it goes against everything I stand for. I'll explain further. At…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Agatha Knife hits the ground running. From the very first room/area, you're given a feel for how truly and utterly ridiculous (yet charming) this game is. Personally, I tend to struggle when it comes to point-and-click games. The pacing is usually too slow, immersion isn't totally there, the puzzles are too obscure, or just nothing really stands out and wows me. It's rare that I finish a point-and-click. None of that applies here. Agatha Knife boasts a wonderfully strange cast of characters…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game, much more fun than MechaNika. I recommend playing this one first if you haven't played MechaNika since it explains the background of Agatha's religion. Definitely worth giving this game a try,
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice dark comedy. The music is lovely, the puzzles are pretty fun and the dialogue is great. Also the art is adorable I give it 10 pigs hanging from the ceiling waiting to be butchered by children out of 10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6x1YQCR8YI&t=25s I think this game is very interesting, with a comfortable interface, entertaining dialogues, playing humorous subjects. It is a game that makes you think of controversial issues, such as religion, the world is as it is, with many stories and thoughts, and all must be represented, defending freedom of expression, that's why I like this game so much and recommend.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Neutral The art style is simple and nice, the music is a bit repetitive, but the melody is ok. Although I knew what the story was about I didn't really think that some scenes or dialogs will affect me that much- but they did. At this point I have to note that I am a bit faint hearted with animals and killing them so.. it may be just me and probably the rest of you wont have a problem with that- but I felt like saying it either way just in case. The achievements were nice but you will probably…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game and the world of personality it's in. It has a very simplistic art style by design, which adds to it's charm, and everyone you talk to always has something interesting to say. Any character encountered along your adventure isn't without without something humerus or interesting to speak of. The writing in this game shines, which is the backbone of any point and click adventure, and though this game is a bit dialogue heavy, everything is so well written that I never found myself…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a game. This is a Point-and-Click Adventure based on the adventures of a crazy little girl, but that's probably obvious. Not too many obtuse moments, good pacing, and a charming audiovisual aesthetic. It's very funny, too, but the humor is some of the darkest I've seen in a game like this; do keep that in mind, as it isn't for everyone. Without wanting to spoil too much, I found myself laughing almost the whole time at just how messed up it all was. At the same time, it does a very…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you've played MechaNika (and I did) and if you liked it, then you'll like this one as well. But as for me, this fell short of my expectations. I felt it was the exact same product as MN in every aspect, just a couple hours longer. Frankly, considering the price of Agatha Knife being a little more than double MN, I was expecting something more mature than MN. More mature meaning a deeper storyline, interesting puzzles, more character development; that sort of thing. But unfortunately, all…

Me ayudó a aprender nuevas palabras y…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Agatha is a weird, weird little girl. The story is quite smart and full of hilarious references and ironic commentary on religion. An absolute must.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First of all, play [url=http://store.steampowered.com/app/384680/MechaNika/]MechaNika before playing Agatha Knife. You'll enjoy AK much more then. That said, I think AK is definitely a big improvement on MN. AK is a bigger and better structured game. It took me twice as much time to complete AK, and I almost never was lost, unlike in MN, where I wasted some time running between locations (in MN and AK it means running left of right) trying to figure out where I should go next. Also the plot…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was very cute and weird. As my first point-and-click i had a blast streaming this game and doing the voices and it felt like a goo entry point for the genre. Can't wait to play the MechaNika one next. Just finished a second run to clean up achievements to show my respect and thought i'd leave a review.

It is made better than MechaNika in terms of the story length and puzzles, although both games are worth playing if you enjoy Mango Protocol's universe and well-made characters. It's a dive into old times and memes as well, pretty nostalgic. The intelegence of the games despite their decently old age stunns me, what I mean by that is e.g the way you use items is so simple - just…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Agatha Knife is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up adventure full of great messages about the nature of religion and how it can be abused to fit one's needs. Lots of funny but screwed up momments that had me loving this game from start to finish. I highly recomend both this game and it's sequel, MechaNika.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Creating the Carnivorism was a really great experience. All the steps requiered makes you explore the town and speak with everybody. Which reveal fascinating and funny/macabre histories. If you played MechaNika this game is a must. This one has more focus in the narritive and allows you to know more about the Psychotic Universe and its habitants. Most of the observation and questions have two responses. Try to interract with everything at least 2 times.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, after CLeM, I'm really curious about this game's tone. Will it go for the more comedic tone of MechaNika and Agatha Knife, the more serious tone of CLeM, or mix the two? Regardless, I'm really looking forward to the game.
