Satellite Rush is a top-down shooter that features some rogue-lite mechanics such as permadeath and randomized levels. These features are complemented with a great looking set of pixel art, a pretty fitting soundtrack and what could be described as a retro inspired sci-fi setting. You play as an office worker who is captured by aliens and taken aboard the Satellite Moebius, an arena where you’ll have to fight for your life against waves of alien enemies. The concept is pretty simple, your…

https://youtu.be/Iy8Vb5EvPYA The slow movement, especially when moving & shooting is a point of friction against the otherwise fast paced action. The increasing difficulty based on level order is a fresh touch.

Unfortunately I must give a negative thumb on this one. At first I was intrigued by its colorful graphics and its murdershow-like setting, but as soon as I started playing it I realized it was just another repetitive (let's emphasized on that) and, frankly, clunky roguelike top down arena shooter with no real new nor solid content if not for that initial strange setting. However it gets the job done in the basic aspects of the game, although its difficulty is derived more from its clunky…

First of all, what could be better than a speed run to know the game. Spoilers!! steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=662082130 PS: I recorded before I got the steam key. Steam's linux version is working fine but the intro and ending videos didn't work. I've been following this guys since they were greenlit. Game is kinda hard, but I think that is intention. It's not impossible, so with practice and patience you can beat it. There are 3 corridors leading to a boss. After beating a…

7/10 A very fun and well done game, but that could be a lot better with a more balanced difficulty and more upgrade options. The premise of the game is simple: you were captured to participate in an alien battle royale and to earn your freedom, you must fight your way through waves of enemies and three bosses. As you defeat enemies and the crowd cheers on you, you'll get power-ups and weapons to use. Weapons run out quickly but the faster you kill enemies, the more items the crowd will give…

Satellite Rush: ~~~~~~~~~~~ The alarm clock went off at 6 am, showered until 6:15 am, finished breakfast at 6:30 am, walked to work . . . abducted by Aliens around 7:15 am, been given a colourful necklace and a gun thingy at 7:30 am, find myself in the middle of an arena being watched by strange Aliens at 7:35 am. Well, what do you expect when you are an office worker? Hold on, I have really been abducted! AHHHHHH! Satellite Rush is a top down shooter action game where you take control of…

Satellite Rush is a tricky arena shooter with a cheerful, colourful setting that disguises the fact you're a random bloke who's been abducted and has to fight for his life! It's a fairly typical action-roguelike set-up. You choose from a red, green or blue door, then have to clear out a series of randomly allocated arenas, and finally a boss. Repeat until you've won all three doors. The crowd thrill meter at the top is a clever way of adding urgency to the game. If you string together kills,…

One of the worst, if not the worse twin stick shooter I ever played. It is incredibly opaque in communicating information to the player, to the point that you beat a boss and has no clue what each power-up is supposed to do; has this awful design choice of tying shots to the four face buttons, meaning enemies can approach you from each angle but you can only shoot in four directions; movement is sluggish and you'll frequently be mobbed against walls and into unavoidable explosion damage; and…

Easy to adapt a little bit hard to master. Only down side for me is there is 3 different rooms but the enemies are the same. Maybe it is too much to ask but could be more fun in that way. But great game and time spender.

Have you ever wondered if being abducted by aliens would be an interesting experience? After playing this game, you'll probably think "well, I'd rather live my boring life than venture myself through that hell". You play as an overweight guy who used to live a boring life until he's got abducted by some aliens. You wake up in a room, they apologize for the inconvenience and tell you that you can go back to your old life by getting yourself to the end of the corridor of Moebius, the spaceship.…

Morlan's shorts: There is some fun in this hectic, bullet-hell (it really is, don't trust the tags) arcade-ish shooter, at least in the beginning. The atmosphere (graphics-sound and handling) is good and draws you in. The pixel-art is actually quite nice. But the "Smash TV/Robotron: 2084" gimmick wears out fast and the visualization of the spectators hinders the playing area making it too small to manoeuvre in the confined space which is also, randomly, cluttered by immovable/indestructible…

This game proposes a challenging environment. With each victory, the difficulty ramps up. The gameplay is addictive and it builds upon strong design principles: easy to learn, hard to master. Stages are generated randomly. Each time you cross the portal to challenge a boss "dungeon" will be different. If you miss top-down shooters like Super Smash TV, Satellite Rush is the game for you.

Positive only because its fun BUT NEGATIVE because it seriously needs mouse support for gun direction and shooting. Devs look at Nuclear Throne that game gets controls right. WASD for movement.Mouse for gun direction.Left click for fire.Middle for interact.Right click for drop bomb. Died more times than nessessary wrestling with the controls. Otherwise fun game.

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…

Just give people the option to disable the screenshaking. It prevents me from seeing what is happening. Also the slowdown mechanic to penalize shooting is asinine.

Satellite Rush is a lightweight twin-stick shooter with a few little quirks to distinguish it from its competition. The most significant distinction is in the interstellar audience cheering the player on. This audience is the source for all of the power-ups acquired - keep them excited, and they'll throw you a steady stream of weapons. Since your default pea shooter is pretty unimpressive, you will want those weapons, and that means playing a little more aggressively than in some other…

Binding of Isaac with 3-4 floors, 3 passive items, 4 active items, and maybe 5 temporary weapons (or bullet modifiers). The audience meter mechanic is alright. Levels gets harder after defeating a boss by adding a certain mechanic depending on the boss you killed. If you need something to do for like half an hour or so, get this on sale.

Satellite Rush its a Brazilian Game and a perfect one for those who loves rogue-like games. Its a quite fast game, but its really challeging. its heavely inspired by Binding of Isaac and it have cool bosses, awesome pixel art and animation. Its also fun to watch your friends play, get stuck and die a lot of times since you can beat the game within 30 mins or so ( if you have the skills to survive everything, of course )

Satellite Rush is a 8-bit nostalgia shooter that gives you a lot of fun and challenge. It's, as others put it, a difficult game but, to me, that's okay. For a small game, some challenge keep you playing longer. And for that price, you should give it a shot.
