You play as a little girl who hates the world and she starts assembling device which will help her to destroy everything she hates, which is basically…everything. So you start looking for the items and do this in a traditional point&click style. Collect items, talk to people, use/combine the items. There’s nothing different or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm very ambivalent about the game, it's a Mixed, no a clear No. The good: + Nice visual style + Mostly player-friendly gameplay + Nice minimalistic music + Some humorous lines + Pop culture references + The game is kinda short, you can finish your first playthrough in around 2 hours Mixed: ~ The developers appear in the game, and can have a conversation with the protagonist, which is mildly amusing, but I felt the protagonist going on and on about how the devs' previous game is her…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Waaaaaay too lewd for me. Normally, if I feel this way, I'll try to just complete the game as quickly as possible to 100% it. But I am actually too offended to play anymore. It's really a shame. I wish there had been more advance warning of this game's content before I bought it. I never buy a game purely to 100% it. I buy games to enjoy them and have fun. Now, I have no issues with stories having a dark side. I DO have issues with nudity, swearing, and the like. I can't even begin to tell you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't get fooled by its look, this game is for a mature audience! I had no idea what I got myself into, but very short after I started playing, the game surprised me with several wtf moments and I couldn't stop neither smirking nor playing until I had this game finished thanks to its absurd and clever humor. It's not a very long game, but it's worth all of the time you want to dedicate to it. Give it a chance, you're in for a treat.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun, first adventure in the MechaNika world. The prequel is equal in many ways. The story is linear and the puzzles are mostly straight-forward, but that should not stop you from enjoying the game. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NOTE: According to ESRB, MechaNika is suitable for players aged 17 and above. This is not clearly evident here on Steam. Also: This game's store page says it won’t run on macOS Catalina or newer, but it runs perfectly on my M2 Mac. I’ve had it in my library for a while and only just got around to playing it, which is the only reason I got to test this out. =) You play as Nika, a 7-year-old alcoholic genius with a plan to build a giant death machine and wipe out everything she finds stupid…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MechaNika initially presents itself as a cute children's adventure game but quickly turns dark, as pervasive adult themes slowly permeate the game to an absurd extent. This is a point and click style game with simple puzzles and basic conversation trees. The art style and soundtrack play a stark contrast to the premise of the story; the protagonist, Nika, is a 7 year old girl with dreams of taking over the world due to her internalised conflict - that she tries to hide with a smile - for being…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't get fooled by the cute art style. MechaNika is a point & click with crude adult dark humor that will make you burst into laughts! Short but entertaining + Easy to understand. + Hilarious dialogues. + Fun to play. + Many references. - 1-2hrs to beat. - Font isn't easy to read. - Easy puzzles. PD: Game is not for children.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoy this game but wtf was that ending? You go the whiole game wondering if she'll make the robot, and if she does what will happen afterwarrds, how will the world and characters be affected, how exactly is she gonna to exact her vengence upon the world? SPOILERS She makes the robot....and the game just ends there. ...... Was there a secret ending I missed or something?? No ..... .....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Creepy,Dark,Funny,Weird. Point and click adventure games have always been special to me and MechaNika is just another one of those special games that I enjoyed the short time I played it. I laughed a-lot and was disturbed by a few thing's as well. While this game is nothing like Willy Beamish it has it's own style and grace that makes it a fantastic and very weird game. BUY IT.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This could be a great game for a certain kind of person but im just not that person, its not funny or interesting enough to warrant how tedious it is. You can only adjust settings if you quit to title screen, one number puzzle you have to brute force through for 6 digits, the writing is just kinda vulgar "dark humor," and you have to play through the game twice just for a single achievement. I got it because it was cheap and had robots, so maybe its on me for not checking through the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short, but surprisingly fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got MechaNika from a friend today as a birthday gift, and honestly, I thought it would just be a meme game I’d discard in my library after a quick look. Oh boy, was I wrong. This game hit me with a wave of nostalgia while delivering genuinely engaging gameplay. From the beautifully handwritten subtitles to the quirky and lovable characters, everything felt unique and carefully crafted. Nika’s interactions with Agatha were a highlight for me, funny, weird, and oddly heartwarming all at once.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really wonderful game! The puzzles are not challenging at all, but they're still pretty nice. All the characters are lovely, some dialogues are really funny, and the game has a nice bunch of awesome dark humor in it. For its price, you MUST purchase it! Great job, developers!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really fun point-and-click game. I love the animation and the music. The puzzles were challenging without being too frustrating, and there were a bunch of quirky jokes sprinkled throughout. I really liked all the different characters. My only complaint is that it was too short, but I can't wait for Mechnika II to come out!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is such a blast, from the weird dark humor, to all the small details added in between. This game had me coming back for a few playthroughs it is that much fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really peculiar game tbh! When I bought it, I never expected to enjoy it so much! The art was not something special, but made the funny moments a little funnier! The music has stuck in my head for 3days now and I find myself humming it a lot! Played the game twice, to get all the achievements and cards, but I didn't mind!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just got this game today and bought it because at first glance thought the art style was cute, it was on sale for a little less than $2 dollars and the reviews were mainly positive. I've been playing for a little bit (getting up for a few minutes every now and than) and reached the part of the game where you're outside and exploring. I was fine with the adult humor every now and than that I would see in dialog but it was going over the line when it went to the construction site area of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is absurd + delightful + disturbing + hilarious + self-aware = A+ Evaluation: Nothing can stop MechaNika!!! >:D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Achievements: All possible, all quite easy. Some are missable or require separate playthroughs. One requires using no hints. MechaNika was a pretty fun point and click. The cute graphics juxtaposing the dark humor gave the game a lot of personality and charm. There's not many things I can think to complain about-- other than the fact that the default font is cursive (which can be changed in the options!). Mostly I was upset that the game was rather short, but that really only means I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game, as you can see, I spent 2 hours playing, from start to finish. I am a slight cheat, and googled how to put on the clothes, which is a bit of moon logic, in my opinion, but I stillI loved this game! This is the first game that I have played to completion on Steam, and well worth the price (I got the game during the Steam Summer Sale for 50% off, but probably still would have bought at full price, to be honest!)!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute, violent and so, so wrong! I love it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a weird game. What an exceptionally weird game. I've finished it and I'm not even sure what to say, or whether it deserves a thumbs up or thumbs down. Here's what's going on in the game--you can make up your own mind: 1) This game has a cute overlay but the story and the other little surprises peppered throughout the game are not cute. NOT CUTE. I won't spoil it for you, but I will say this is not a game for children. I'm 33 and I am not entirely sure I was prepared for a few of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Silly, short but fun pont-and-click game. Loved the humour although the font used does make it a little hard to read conversations sometimes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game from Chrono.gg in exchange for the coins earned from visiting their site every day. Thought it looked like a cool game. And then I tried to play it. Got the menu to work, clicked on the Play button, and then black screen and silence. Let it go for a few minutes and nothing changed. I had to Ctrl-Alt-Del just to get out of the darkness. The game didn't run. Checked the discussions. There's supposed to be a way to get it to run using Java and creating a text file, but…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Looks like a dog dodongo to me but apparently plot is not that bad. Still cracking up on this one if I should watch it or play it or skip it...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I didn't care for the humour over all, it was still a fun game. I have played many a point and click in my day and I don't remember a lot of them. if any, having an introduction on how the mechanics worked. I thought that was cool. The music and the art lend itself well to the story. Barring a few choices they decided to include, this very much felt like a clever little girl using her imagination to play and conquer. Given the world, it very much wasn't playing pretend but the vibe was…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lady Mechanika are excellent comics somewhat about the supernatural kind of like Hellboy, and also including some Steampunk.
unlabelledView post →In a world where brilliance often feels out of place, meet Nika, a girl so smart she makes Einstein look like an amateur. Armed with her manifesto and her plan, Nika's eccentric genius finds a perfect stage in this zany game. Thrust into a hand-drawn world bursting with quirky characters and clever humor, players navigate a realm where absurdity reigns. The puzzles are mischievous imps challenging your brain in delightful ways, like deciding whether to start eating a waffle from the crispy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A neat little point & click adventure game about a little girl on the noble quest to build a giant robot that she'll use to annihilate with extreme prejudice everything and everyone who doesn't live up to her standards. We can all relate to that, right? The game's on the easy side, I never needed to use the in-game hint system. The UI is obviously a direct port from mobile, but despite an initial turnoff I got used to it quickly enough. All in all the game it took me 3.2 hours to complete,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →wow just wow a good point and click game about a schoolgirl very nice and cheap
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! ^_^ I'm fascinated by Nika! Game is pretty short, though you can interact with more things to get funny gaming, movies, series references which makes it even more entertaining. No need of massive graphics to have fun, puzzles are pretty simple but extremely freaky funny! And I am in love with the badges <3 Nika and Agatha rocks!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and weird little point-and-click adventure game. Dark / disturbing at times - not suitable for young children despite its appearance. First run-through took about 2 hours. Needs a second run-through to get 100% of the achievements but that only took half an hour.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not usually into point-and-click adventure games, but this one was easy and short enough for me to enjoy it. I didn't find any puzzle to be too obscure, but in case you're stuck at some point, there is some in-game hint mechanics to help you (I didn't use it, so I don't know how useful it is). The beautiful yet childish drawings may lead you to believe it's a kids game, but beware, without spoiling anything, there is some very gore and sexual content. I think it's only part of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eh. I mean it’s ok but kinda just boring Story: You’re a little girl who wants to take over the world so you collect parts for world domination. You do this by interacting with people from around your town in the standard adventure game way of clicking through dialog options. The entire story (except for the last cutscene) is literally just you collecting parts so it’s not the deepest plot. The characters, on the other hand, are somewhat interesting but just surface level. Each of them usually…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is full of weird, vulgar, and creepy bits, juxtaposed into a world full of cute and fun illustrations. For real, it's cute, but you'll only like it if you can get down with the dark parts as well. Also, the cursive font is kind of hard to read; make sure you check the options menu to change it to print if you need to.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game for 2,99€ and I'm not completely sure it's worth even that. It's a short and easy game. (Reading the games description almost takes longer, jk. Three hours the first run, maybe less than 1 hour the second run to grab two missed achievements). Not much more to say. Simple gameplay, graphics and audio. Unskippable tutorial in the beginning. Still, an ok and somewhat fun game. If you got money and an evening to spend and you like point and click, sure, go for it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Non-linear gameplay Instead of having a series of goals to be completed one by one with the story progressing in distinct chunks after each one (convince the local bridge repairman to come out of retirement so you can cross over to the next part of your journey, that sort of thing), here after we finish the tutorial, we're just given a list of objects we need to collect throughout the game, and then we can go around collecting them in nearly any order we like and the puzzles for them tend to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't think I'd like this game at first but I was pleasantly surprised. Took 1 1/2 hrs to complete but was still a very fun adventure.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought this game could be a little relatable and fun since it shows a female interested in mechanics with simple drawings. I was wrong. This game is dark and not even funny. All it does is complain about life and make horrible scenarios. It's also gross and shows nudity like women flashing their privates at construction sites, and tells a bleak story. I won't play anymore of it to even finish and see if it gets better cause it's just so bad. You can be a female or anyone who enjoys…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a simple game with hit-or-miss humor - sometimes it's funny, but other times it feels forced. The art style is kinda cute, and the pop culture references are fun. However, the controls are kinda awful and I wish there was a way to see all dialogue options at once instead of having to cycle through them one by one. Still, it's a charming game, but ultimately very average. Score: 5.5/10 - Average
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →-`ˏ ♡ You get to be a smol but savage girl with big dreams in this fun point & click adventure game! Absolutely laughed at the dark, crude humor aspects of the game. Achievements are easily attainable toooo ❀ ♡ˎˊ˗
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very Funny game with dark humor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MechaNika is relatively short and easy game but it has great (dark) humor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Noo Nika haha don't sign those adoption papers that are to my name haha don'ttttttt (By the way, who's brilliant idea was it to make you collect 5 trading cards when the game lasts 1-2 hours?)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice point&click game about a genius young girl who is frustrated by the world around her. So it is only a logical step to destroy the whole world. It is not so hard to understand the game mechanics. The visual and the graphics in general are a bit naive but they are in line with the concept of the whole game. There is a lot of jokes and some sarcastic moments. Sometimes it takes some longer time to move to correct place and it is not good. The control is somewhat unusual but it is not so…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually enjoyed this game a year or 2 years ago. This is a simple point and click game that helps character interact with another leading to consequences happening. I really enjoyed it and I find myself replaying it in the future if I am bored. There is a lot of crappy Point and Click games out there but I find this to be a success. Without me having to pull up a certain guide to follow through during those "hopeless" moments of no lead or guidance. Try it out and take a leap of faith.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What I liked about MechaNika is the randomness and dark humor present in the game. The fact that the makers of the game dared to open up their minds, create cute but deadly characters is really neat. You could finish it quite fast but there's a pleasure in reading the dialogues, enjoying every bit of the story. I highly recommend this game for Point & Click fans :) Another precious jewel in your collection.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Looking close enough at promo screenshots here on Steam, it is easy to notice that the game is not exactly for kids, despite being childish in its plot and art. There is a fair share of dark humor going on, which I don't wanna spoil, and some details are already mentioned in other reviews. I can also see that some people got offended by it, so bear that in mind. Depending on your relationships with said humor this game is either recommended to try out or recommended to completely avoid. If you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This kid has issues.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not stellar but fine. There funnier, gorier, smarter, nicer, more intelligent and more atmospheric games out there. But it does a solid job in its 2–3 hours nevertheless. Just don't forget to change the font in the main menu.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MechaNika is a pretty straightforward game. Your objective is to gather different machine parts to make your plan of destroying most of the world a reality. I found the game very enjoyable and the puzzles not that hard to figure out. Unlike other adventure games, you don't have to gather countless items and combine them in a specific manner to make some small progress, all it takes are usually one or two items and you're set. I'd say the only thing that bothered me about the game is its…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is cute, but just feels like a first episode in a game instead of a full game. It starts interesting but then it just ends, and leaves you kinda disappointed cause you don't get to see what happens with all of your hard work. I would still recommand cause I think its sale price is worth it (though for the full price you can probably find better games), and because I read the developers said they are working on a new game to continue the story, so I guess once it's out this one can be…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you only look at the art, it seems a game for children; but it is clearly NOT. *dramatic chipmuk* Not only has LOTS references to games and shows, but also people with addictions and the main character hates everyone. Just like you IRL. You need to buy it and the presequel (Agatha Knife) too, they are really GREAT :D!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not a terrible game, I have mixed feelings, but in the end I can't recommend it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't usually write reviews, but when I do, I don't.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. A bit short, even shorter than my time played (I afk a lot >.>) But in all honest the shortness is worth the price. Cute, funny, some adult humor. The puzzles are fairly easy but a few took a little bit.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's good Tons-o-charm But it is your classic format of a point and click. It could have used a few more things and hidden things, could have been alittle longer. But this game is good the style has character and charm. And just some of the random acts just caught me completely off gaurd. UPDATE still feel the same way if not anticipating agatha knife even more.
