positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worst of the franchise, so stressful to play jeez. Game mechanics are trash, and your character moves so slowly it actually hurts your soul
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →giving a negative review because they won't let me refund this trash
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game runs like dog s*** on a machine that is more than capable of running this at 60FPS. Another big issue is that this is a port of a Vita title yet they haven't bothered to update the controls for regular controllers that have 4 more buttons so the whole game is awkward as hell to control. For example if you want to do something as simple blocking an attack you have to hold RB+B. Just why... Third major problem is that quests outside the main quest don't even bother to tell you WHERE…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game features characters from both the Accel World and Sword Art Online anime and light novel series. The game's roster includes characters from both series, each with their own unique abilities and fighting styles. The game's combat system is fast-paced and action-packed, and players can use a variety of different combos and special moves to take down opponents. One of the strongest points of the game is the character's design, each of them is well-designed and faithful to their anime…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is it a good game? No. It's janky, runs like absolute garbage, has bad animations, and it's just a reskin of another SAO game that's not good in the first place. It's not worth the $40 it's priced at. Did I have fun with it? YES! Get it on sale. It's fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →more trouble then its worth tbh game has horrible pc controls {u can only change them in the launcher version} basicly requires a guide and even the guides are confusing its also feels super laggy for some reason graphics are pretty terrible this one does arguably have the best scenes out of the whole sao game series though a few tips that make it less unbearable- 1.alt tab and tab back in to make it full screen 2.use mouse to use skills instead of the hot keys {u dont even need to hold…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love kuroyukihime
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Graphics are a minor upgrade on .hack last recode. Playstyle is simliar to any jrpg nothing new here. Controls are anything but smooth, flight is wonky, using items or skills is fiddley. Not even attempting Kb+M. Questing is unintuitive, mobs will have the quest icon for a drop but that mob type only drops the item once and you need to find a different type of mob usually on another map but the mob is still a "quest mob". The map isn't interractable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game looks nice but I cannot in good faith recommend this game due to the problems I have had and others as I saw many complaints on the forums and I experienced many of them. I installed the game on my main desktop which has 64gb ram, 2080TI card, a sick motherboard etc, pretty good, not top of the line but a good computer nonetheless. The game ran around 25-30 fps on average and felt slow as hell to the point I couldn't take it anymore after about 10 minutes. I went to install the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a game for fans of Sword Art Online and Accel World, but I recommend it to purchase at the discount price since, in my opinion, you wouldn't regret buying and collecting SAO games at the discounted price. The game is meant for fanservice, but at the same time, it really makes me feel the fantasy environment.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What do you want me to say? It does not even start
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As many others I came from SAO and AW and I hoped that i find a unique experience and a non traditional rpg with the characters and story I saw in the anime. While the characters are there, this game is not only not a really good RPG it's not really a good game either. The controls are ported from consoles to PC as an afterthought and it shows. The graphics are leaning towards the bad side but I would say ok. (It's ageing slowly like fine milk.) It had some hicups during gameplay (cuz…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, Reki Kawahara two most popular works collide together in this game. Does it some how work? Or is it an abomination that should never existed? Let's get into the pros and cons to find out! Pros: - World aesthetics (The mixing of Elfhiem fantasy setting meets the cyberpunk feel of Accel World mixes quite well surprisingly) - Combat (Many different characters with many different combat styles) - Verticality to the world (Because it takes place in Elfhiem combat and travel takes…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played every other SAO game up to this point, but this one has ground me to a halt. Once you get past the issue of forcing it to work on your graphics card, the controls for the PC port are absolute garbage. It forces your fingers into unnatural positions and slows progress. It's like reading Chinese backwards. Unless you have a controller- or plan on investing in one- check out Lost Song instead.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Weeee flying fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gave it a try, but honestly it is not worth it. Mainly due to the enemy AI and how your hit detection works. Alright - so here is the main issue. The game itself is not hard - it is quite easy to play. However your skills and attacks often miss a lot, since enemies have this odd tendency to move vertically or away from you. The "flying mechanic" is probably to blame for that, cause while you can move on every axis - the enemy tends to randomly move around and FLY up as well. This causes…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ok now i've finished the game and i have to say it was pretty fun the whole gameplay and loved the bonus content of kirito v crow just launch the game using the acclsao exe rather than using the launcher i've played it for like 3 hours (i know its low) but the game didn't even feel like i was playing for hours without noticing the game was so fun to play oh if you're looking for silica go back to the meadow and go to the center of the meadow you'll find pina sobbing toggle a event with her…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has two Kiritos. So that's a minus. But even with that, it's pretty good. ...And thinking further, it's got a girl with Kirito's moves that she learned from AU Kirito, so that also means Kirito, Kirito?, and Kirito♀ can fill an entire party, and you can freely swap between the three of them. 10/10 would kirito kirito? kirito♀ again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not recommended. Game itself is good, but the port is terrible beyond what words can express. Avoid it at all costs;

I had never heard of Accel World before I played this game; appearently there is a whole new world of waifus out there besides Art Sword Online digital universe. Anyways, if you know the least bit about Sword Art Online, then you know the drill.. you're playing a character of a videogame, INSIDE a videogame... Inception intensifies. In all seriousness, this game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game in a sale a couple years ago because I'm a huge fan of both shows. Could only get it to play super slow and laggy so I gave up. Bought a new Pc. same problem. Updated drivers again. Same problem. Really wish I could get the game to play
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Undertake the Lost Song, there are many UW-related extensions, the story is pretty good, but the PC buttons are more uncomfortable to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly mixed with this one. Overall I do love the combination of sword art and accel world as they are both anime that I enjoy. However, in my opinion, the only good thing about this game was the boss fights and overall story. But sadly that is all i really liked. The gameplay felt awkward at times, the side missions were not worth even completing, and, apart from the story, the game was just boring. Long story short I would only get this game if you are a fan of these 2 anime series
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is my favorite SAO game of all time. I love Accel World and I love SAO. I loved grinding for hours, even though it says 14.8 hrs I just ported my data from my pirated version of this game. This is what a real sao game should be like, all the new games ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCK
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun enjoyed it most out of all SAO games so far
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not bad at all.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good cross-over honestly! The M&K controls are trash, so it's good that I play with a controller :D. The graphics are like a remastered version of Lost Song, which I really like. I don't really care about AW, but still it's fun, although it's not canon to the gameverse.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bad port, rather than let us choose with direct input on which key we gonna use, they add a list with not even a full list of keys on keyboard, crashed 3 times already before completing tutorial, and no manual save... aside the story i don't really recommend this game if you wanna play it yourself..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a great story. Unlike the other SAO games, this one is a collaboration with Accel world, but it still (mostly) takes place in Svart Alfheim from Sword Art Online. This game, although more of a side game in the SAO game series, takes place sometime between the 2nd ([url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/840720/Sword_Art_Online_Lost_Song/]Lost Song) and 3rd ([url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/607890/Sword_Art_Online_Hollow_Realization_Deluxe_Edition/]Hollow Realization) games…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →lot of money for a very simple game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →♥♥♥♥♥♥ game for two ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anime. Worthless take on worthless shows. Extremely bad, so damn boring.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you have played any of the Sword Art Online games, this is very much the same gameplay mechanics as you would expect. It is definitely not the greatest gameplay but if you enjoy the series, you don't mind. Now what I do love about this is the Accel World component of the story. As a fan of both series and with the both of them sharing the same creator, I really liked the optics around this game and some of the interesting parallels it might present to where both the series' novels are at…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the best game in the Sword Art Online franchise, in my humble opinion. Adds Accel World characters to the mix for some extra fun! I was pleasantly surprised at some of the more obscure characters who were made playable! There is a lot of freedom, letting you choose who you use and how to build them. The characters play pretty much how they are described in the anime, which is awesome. If there is one complaint I have, it's that the SAO characters get a bit of an unfair advantage in…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Accel World VS. Sword Art Online Deluxe Edition Review The best of both worlds is thrust into an unthinkable occurrence, take part in an Epic adventure with numerous companions as you lead the fight to restore peace and rescue Yui. Some key points that this game offers: 1. Castaway from Another World DLC included. 2. Hours, upon hours of fun. 3. Multiplayer. Gameplay & Controls: The game can be played on your keyboard and mouse, but a controller is highly recommended; The game makes use of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I installed, played a little, and promptly uninstalled; here's why. The control scheme feels like I'm playing an RPG fantasy game with aircraft controls (legitimate ones). I will come back to this game, but I cannot recommend it simply because the control scheme is so atrocious.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Here I was excited for this game as I love both SAO and Accel World and then the controls kicked me in the teeth. They post the game on a Computer Game store, aka Steam, and then don't make the controls computer friendly. Having controller compatibility is nice but it would be better if you actually make the game easier to play with keyboards and mice.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let me start off with: The game play is FUN! But, I can't recommend this game for a variety of reasons. First and foremost: The keybindings are a hot mess. Whoever did the port has never played a game... any game... on the PC. Mouselook is R-click... Which is ALSO bound to heavy attack... no problem... just unbind it... Oh wait *YOU CAN NOT UNBIND MOUSE BUTTONS!* That's right... can't unbind R-click. Each button is mapped to a gamepad button no matter what. Luckily I found a button that…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely one of the best SAO games out there, easily top 3 imo. Lacks a tiny bit of polish in terms of camera lock-on and combat, but is overall pretty smooth on that front. Story is hands down the best out of all the SAO games, and it's not even close. Going in, I had no clue what Accel World was, and if you're unfamiliar with it either (or unfamiliar with SAO for that matter), this game does a good job at explaining both. Thank you, "Say It, Miss Strea!" from the gallery. Apparently they're…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →From hollow fragment, to Lost song, to Hollow realization, to this, this is definitely the worst game out of the 4. The port is complete ass, first off. The game logic itself lags even though the framerate doesn't (though that's locked to 30fps). The quest design is just god awful. Finding where anything is to do anything is a nightmare since the game skimps on markers and gives no sort of landmark-based or directional descriptions on where things are. Even though it's a copy and paste of Lost…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sill holds up in 2026! The best SAO game (and the only Accel game) on PC (just my opinion, you can keep yours). Hollow Fragment and Hollow Realization combined would be the best game but sadly we can't have that, Lycoris is a gardener simulator basically where you expend 30 hours watching a worse version of the anime in visual novel format and the other 60 hours are fighting mostly the same flowers (yes flowers) and FIVE enemy types in the most boring and empty open world ever with the worst…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game had its ups and down, but nonetheless was extremely enjoyable, combat could be better but oh well. Got my fix of SAO and AW all in one for what this game had to offer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Additional Story of Accel World / Sword Art Onlinefor fans *0 * Ps. Kuroyukihime and Asuna is THE BEST..............!!! -------------------------------------------------
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good execution between the two anime franchises. I hope they make more!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lost Song controls were awesome but what is this which moron programmed this to absolute nonsense thats an insult!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So hard to play on the keyboard. The graphics are crap, even at the highest resolution, I was so disappointing because I have played the other SAO games and they are so much better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like both series its pretty alright, gameplay isn't too bad, and honestly, I love it for the crossover. I am a big dumb nerd for things that crossover.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you love SAO and the preoceeding arcs, you'll surely be able to dump hours into this game. the only thing its missing to be a real SAO experience is the full dive!! Put me in the game!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is there a way for the player to change the control scheme? Why not just use the SAO Lost Song's control scheme style which is simple and effective. Seriously, how the hell do you play this game with this awful 100% keyboard controls? The moment Black Lotus kicked my ass because of the brain dead control scheme, I lost complete interest to further play this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is 100% optional, if you decide to skip it you're not missing out. It's basically a filler story, catered towards fans of both series. All in good fun. I don't regret playing it as it made Yui more likeable for me. You should be aware of one massive con this game has. Very vague quest objectives, it can get very frustrating after a while.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Performance is very poor as it struggles to reach 50FPS with minimal settings. Have not yet found an optimal configuration nor solution.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Other than dragon age i have never seen a franchise make every sequel somehow worse than the last it's mind blowing Also the M&K controls are garbage no i will not buy a controller it should work out the gate period.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're not a fan of either series, there's probably not much that's going to convince you to play this one. The early games in the SAO series had a lot of depth to them, especially the battles and buffs. You could build really powerful characters. A lot of that has been dumbed down, and this title a basically a button masher. There is still a lot of systems running in the background of battles, but its nothing like the Hollow titles. What I enjoy about this game, is having a giant party of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best game. You can play it on steam deck using Proton GE.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best SAO game that exist 👍
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bad graphics and the controls are awful. As much as I like SAO I couldn't deal with the controls.
