34 of 34 · most liked firstCannot recommend for $30. Its a $15 game at best. It feels empty for a glider game. The fun of gliding is soaring around and enjoying the scenery but the scenery in this game is just bad. The whole map is flat. There are a few tiny hills off to one side but the scale is so off its just not enjoyable to fly around them. An alpine lake map would be amazing. The cockpits in the game are pretty bare. There are panels that arent lit. At least put a GPS map on the screen! The cockpits arent…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is way below the usual Aerosoft quality. It does not support Opentrack or similar camera control [EDIT: the developers promised an update for this], the option menu is very limited (no selection of time, or season), no winch launch, some planes can be started from the air only. The sky is full with birds (I have a few hours in gliders, and I have never ever seen so many birds around me in real life) I hoped it will be a great product, but it is a huge disappointment. Should have spent my…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a glider pilot myself I wouldn't recommend this simulator. Visuals and physics are alright however the choice of gliders, launch types, and locations is incredibly basic and gets boring pretty quick. UI is also very basic and so is the weather system. It being a gliding simulator I'd have thought there'd be more control over weather? If you want a gliding simulator get Condor 2!

Setting up controls was a lot harder than it should've been and even then, some inputs weren't recognised. No head tracking support which kills immersion. This might be on the roadmap, but i'd like to think it's core part of a flight sim. The option to fly the tug aircraft is a nice touch and the sounds are quite realistic. Physics are ok but nowhere near as…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wouldnt recognise my X56 Joystick. I checked the settings, tried the default, X56 (which is my Joystick) and the x52 for good measure and still didnt work. Also then mapped the Axis myself. Also discovered that i cant launch the ASK21 from the ground only from the air which is kinda the only glider i cared about. I checked to see if there was a road map and i couldnt find one. In short, couldnt get it to work properly and I can only fly the glider i want to fly from one position so its a…

This iteration is all about gliders, motorised, Sailplane and the tow aircraft which gets many of them in the air in the first place. I can immediately confirm that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Frustrating- scenery is flat & monotonous, no clickable controls, no weather control (for Gliders!), poor zoom, bindings on joystick glitchy, gaining height seems diifficult, does not have an involving feel, won't be using this much, will try again if updated for weather control.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of fun, gives a great feeling. Bit outdated patch wise. keeps crashing on my Win11 PC. Will try re-installing. Amazing if someone could VR Mod it for 2024 play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so rushed. The menu doesn't even fit in a 1080p screen, Can't even interact with cockpit. My rudder pedals also don't work with this game. Flight dynamics are okay, but only in the L-13 Blaník. all other planes are literally broken in pitch making them unflyable. The map is also very bad with only 2 airports very close to each other. There is no winch launch also. I expected more from this game, but this quality is just poorly done. There are also unrealistic amounts of birds in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's actually quite cathartic to play it, a break from high octane combat sims. I've done 15 hours of real glider time and this sim does provide the sensation of gliding pretty well. The interface and options are somewhat more basic than one would come to expect from a modern sim and the lack of weather and thermal options point to a cut down sim but it's still enjoyable to play. As other users have said I don't think it's a £25 game more like £14.99. I picked it up cheaper on a third party…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommend this but from a highly specific perspective and with caveats. The perspective was looking for a small (both download size and disk needed) glider simulator that allows aero-towing, runs on the Steamdeck and has aircraft flown in real life. This meets those aims. The caveats are that while the Blanik is a good model and the Wilga seems okay, the other aircraft modelled are less satisfying; and the map, while having a gliding club with a grass strip and an airfield with a paved…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is in a terrible technical state. Primitive control set up, limited sized map, occasional crashes. The only good thing in this game is the ability to fly old eastern-european planes and gliders, like the PPR built Wilga or the Czech L-13, one of the most common glider in the world. The graphics are of 2010s at best. Not worth for full price, could be okay for 90% off for some folds. It gets boring really quickly
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →does not run properly mouse disappears on settings menu will be asking for refund
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth even for 15 Eur. Some features like replay or online mode do not work. Flat scenary, and no challenge at all. First and last product I buy from Aerosoft.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Once the VelocityOne Flightstick was setup it was relatively easy to fly. The gliders were immersive as the handling and sounds were pretty realistic.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Keeps crashing and cant generate a report as you have to close the game so the sumbit screen disappears.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- Quite good flight model and appearance of aircrafts - Ugly, unintuitive GUI. Setting up a popular controller requires searching forums to find a solution - Poor frame rate (ex. Aerofly FS2 and MSFS are more powerful and better optimized) - I've never been able to play multipleyer flight. It's likely that no one is playing it - Closed environment means limited playability - there will be no new planes and addons made by enthusiasts A few hours of playing was enough for me
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know why the reviews are so bad, maybe because of the high price at launch, but for a dollar, it's fine. It just needs multiplayer and a bit of physics tweaking; otherwise, I liked it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the game, graphics are nice and its very easy to enjoy the sim with an xbox controller. Just needs a plane fitted with guns to takeout them birds!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1 hr of play time in 2025 is enough. I do not regret this purchase (partly because I picked it up from a few dollars over at Greenman Gaming), but this is to Glider simulating what Codemasters is to sim racing. 100% simcade. Firstly, Online mode does not work. Whatever official server system was used for this is now offline and will result in a "cannot connect" message that is immediately followed by the game crashing to desktop. So if you are an achievements ♥♥♥♥♥, you won't be able to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It looks ok and plays OK but the developers just kinda left us to it to put up with bugs and ignore questions. Only get this on a big sale and be warned, it'll still be a let down. You can't sell a game and then turn your back on the people who give you money. Aerosoft, hold your head in shame.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was promising at the beginning despite the low number of aircraft. I think the best thing about the game is the texture quality. However, physics of the game is not good. For instance, during the tow takeoff with a glider, when you go below the tug plane, there should be severe turbulence that even makes climbing up the tug plane harder. Thermals are not that easy in the real life. Also, Wilga should have a mirror to watch glider during the tow. There are several unrealistic things…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Options UI seems unconnected to actual game. You can map whatever device you want but it won't work.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I experienced very glitchy graphics, a truly horrible frame rate, and zero audio (complete silence). There are no audio settings other than volume, and adjusting the video settings had minimal effect. I was unable to bind my Thrustmaster rudder pedals although my joystick worked fine. Scenery strobed in and out even when stationary. Frame rate would drop too low to control the aircraft even at low resolutions with the texture quality turned down (on a new top-of-the-line Dell computer). The…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of potential. I like what I am seeing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What controller choices are there for this game. I don't currently have a joystick. For example, can it be payed with keyboard and mouse or xbox controller ? Thanks
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is what it's advertised to b. A Glider Simulator. Great eye candy. Would sell better at 19.00
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Laggy. Hard to setup.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awful simulator. I couldn't get it to work as it was stuck in full screen mode and the options etc menu were off the screen. I had to delete and reinstall multiple times. When I did get it to load, I couldn't control the aircraft with joystick, mouse, keyboard, game controller or foot pedals. So much time spent trying to get it to work and no time to actually enjoy it. Steam shows play time of 49 minutes!!! I WISH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yes and it crashes regularly whilst you are trying to get…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like it. It's good looking. Controls are pretty good. Sound is nice. Not a big woohoo, but ok for me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been a virtual Pilot way back since FS2002 Professional. I currently fly FSX SE, Prepar3D, X-Plane 11, Aerofly FS2, Helicopter Simulator from Lines Studio, Combat Air Patrol 2, etc. Lets just say that I am not new on customizing my loyal Thrustmaster T-Flite Hotas X. Some platforms are more intuitive than others. World of Aircraft: Glider Simulator is sadly a head scratching interface mapping so far, at least for this Pilot. Here are the problems: If you select the profile "simple…
