As of right now the longevity of this game is completely dependent on the community, which stands at 7 currently playing and only 22 all-time peak per steamcharts.com. It includes practice solo mode, multiplayer and many detailed tutorials. Its for now the nr1 in the genre and I hope to see more boats in future updates and a racing mode offline. It's actually really difficult to master a Hydrofoil boat while both trimming the sails and using your mouse wheel for the flight. I have accumulated 144.1 hrs of beta testing and have seen the game go through many stages of changes. Now the time has finally come and I can only give my best recommendations to buy the game, it is truly the most fun and advanced sailing sim to date! I would even go as far as recommending the game to non-sailors as well, hydro-foiling is truly something everyone should try even if it has to be through a game.

Physics are very well thought through and implemented (it's Stefano Casillo so of course). But the developers have really nailed the perception of sailing these high performance boats with realistic physics which puts you right the heart of a foiling yacht experience. These boats really do live on the edge and if you are not going full send you are doing it wrong. Highly recommend this to anyone interested in this sport. It's a bit difficult to understand at the start (it will be even more if you don't know a lot about sailing) but the people on the discord channel will help you. Unfortunately the player base is very low at the moment, so be mindful about that, if your first interest is racing a lot, maybe wait. The tutorials are well detailed but can be harsh at times. To manually control every aspect of the boat can be quite challenging but you can always sail in auto mode and its still a lot of fun. I'd rather use the A and D keys to control the wheel and S and W to control the sail adjustment combo instead with the mouse center button for zoom features. Just saying.

I was a great fan of Virtual Skipper along with many of my friends, we would race every week against each-other & overseas players. Unfortunately it has not been updated to suite modern computers & will not run on them. If this sim proves to be as good as Virtual Skipper, I would not hesitate to purchase it.
