60 of 116 · most liked firstHello there There are a lot of good things I like about this game. The graphics look realy nice and the map is very beautiful. The gameplay is also nice and the AI is not so stupid. There are some new, good things in comparison with the first game. The oxigen bottles and the unlimited fire extinguishers are nice. And you can have more than one HQ. Although I think they have missed a lot of greath things from the previous game (Rescue - Everyday Heroes (U.S. Edition) see:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Starts off strong, repeats certain missions frequently, this is broken up by advancing the 'story' and getting more equipment and vehicles. I got to a mission where my FF had to carry a guy down the turntable ladder, but instead kept appearing at the bottom of said ladder and climbing up. Buggy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have played 12 hours of this RESCUE 2 game that i got on release date. GOOD THINGS: Amazing graphics and lighting Realistic equipment and vehicles Realistic incidents Water levels Several stations Organising vehicles BAD THINGS: Incidents are repetitivly staged and repeats, which leaves the player bored after an hour of gameplay Fire spread is way too intense, nowhere near a realistic level. The only vehicles that can contain firefighters are engines. Firefighters cannot be customized, in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think this is better then the first this is redemption for this series I like it but its still missing things such as Hazmat, Helicopters and command units but they can get that in the next one or in a North America expansion pack. needs more missions which could come in expansion. I love the fact you can draw water from other sources. but overall I am happy with it I think this could start to give Emergency line of games a run for there money. My Wish list to see -Hazmat -Command units…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game looks fancy at first launch, but it is buggy, boring and unfinished. I didn't even unlocked few easiest achivements, becouse it is so bad. Animations are horrible, they seem so unnatural, same thing goes with movement. Missions are also boring, you just have endless "random" challange, which gets repetetive really quick. IT IS ENTERTAINING FOR FIRST HOUR OF GAMEPLAY There is no any reason for which you should buy this game. And yeah, 20 bucks/euros is too much. Better buy 911:First…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So, I just recently got this game from a good friend. The game is fun, challenging and well made. Pros: - Emergencies never stop - You can own 3 stations, even tho I wish there were more - UI is great - Multiple vehicles to buy - You really need money (buying personnel, equipment, repairing vehicles) - You really have to dispatch units to every call, otherwise your rep will go down and your dept. will get shut down - It's made in Finland - There are almost no bugs, only encountered one, that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →From the first half an hour I must say it's way more advanced than the last Emergency game. Definitely need to take a second look on the weekend. But from what I can tell so far: Yup. That's the game the emergency crowd has been waiting for.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a firefighter, this game is interesting and keeps me playing but is nowhere near realistic. As a real time strategy gamer, this game is not what anyone is really looking for. Expect the following: - To have to micromanage -There is zero AI. If you want it done, you will have to issue at minimum of 5 commands for the most basic of functions. (Select engine 1-1 > crew exit > select firefighter > pull hose from engine 1-1 > attach hose to engine 1-1 > attack fire) - Did I say micromanage? -…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I know this game is a god game with loads of hours of play, it is challenging at some points and boring at other. Good things about this game is that the game play is fun, graphics are good. Ita mostly challenging and it takes you a long time to get all the stations and fire trucks, the game is infinate. Bad things about this game is that it still has a few bugs that the community has already spoken of and the developers are handling good. Sound is not the best. And some times it gets boring…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game with a good attantion to detail on how fire fighting is handled. Rather than just run in and do something, strategic planning is needed to have the right assest available when needed. Some mission redundency but that is also exactly what happens in real life as well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have always been a fan of any Emergency Service game. I had purchased the last game in the Rescue Series but didnt think it stood up well to older titles such as EM4, etc. This one however surprised me, it was actually really thorough. The added bonus of purchasing your units and upgrades etc really added a new dimension. The animations are pretty smooth and enjoyable to watch, and the graphics are reasonable for this scale of game. My only negative was the rermoval of some of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They managed to make a worse game than the first one wow. For starters it is buggy as hell. The graphics are not bad, not great but serviceable. The sounds are very limited to say the least. The pathfinding is horendious. The missions are..... well i gave up after a few, same old ones kept popping up, over and over again. The controls are terrible too, really clunky and awkward. The first games saviour was customising and buying stuff for your station, they have completely dumped this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Has about 10 hours of gameplay and story missions until it is all repetitive. It's the same missions with only slight differences in equipment until you have the specialized vehicles which makes the missions trivial, which is boring. I enjoy this game, however it needs more content and it could really use procedural generation for missions to make no two alike, even if they use the same small selection of maps. Difficulty level was not challenging. Once you understand how to do a mission…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfinished as f*ck, sadly can't get refunded because Valve is full of greedy pigs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →well, to beginn with this review i have to say that i am really dissappointed by the game! i know many people would just need one sentence to describe this game, but i don´t think that it is so bad. Yes, the game promisses more than it actually gives. there is a screenshot about a train derailment near a sawmill, but it´s not in this game! there has been one in the previous part. and this is the only part that really gives you missions you only can achieve with the Ladder Vehicle. i surely see…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i think this game is too easy and very boring - repeating and doing same thing
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great game so far and a very interesting story line. Although there still are some bugs to fix, some graphic issues and missions repeating themselves, I find it to be very enjoyable. I do however reconmend adding another fire station, more fire apparatus, an explanation into Class A B and C fires, more missions to randomized from the bag and having any amount of units to respond to a call right away. This game exceeded my expectations and deserves high credit. A+ 4/5 stars and a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'll try to keep this short and on point. If you enjoy games like this and the "Emergency"-series, you will probably like this game as well. The story is far from brilliant and it is also fairly short. The missions have a decent variety, but after a while you have played through all of them a few times, and it starts to feel like grinding. Good instructions through the tutorials, and the game makes new emergency vehicles available at a steady pace. Did not encounter many bugs, but the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Want to play a game where you are the firefighter or paramedic? Get one of the Emergency games! I've played +100 missions on this game, and gosh... this game is so repetative. You play missions over and over again while there are only a couple of missions which were special. (In their own way) This wouldn't be such a problem, if it were not for the effortless missions. Almost all of these mission are easily done by sending a Foam Tanker to them, because it can extinguish both regular as oil…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is not too bad, certainly an improvement to the first version. Short Pro/Cons are the following, more in depth explaination follows in the list: ++ Exinguishing Mechanigs Ability to put Y-Extension in hoses Different Water Sources -- Short missions Short Story What i like about this game compared to the emergency series is the way the extinguishing mechanics work. You have to actually support your trucks with water for them to work over an extensive period of time. Also the way…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game lacks polish, the play is fun but the beginning to just not straight forward. After some time playing you begin to notice that is you do specific commands to fast it bugs out. Don't get me wrong i like the concept and challenge to manage pipes/hoses and equipment. But the its just to buggy. Even though this is releases in 2015, there are no updates anymore so it wont get any better. Side note: DONT GO TO THE WEBSITE. it's spam.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If Emergency simulators interest you. I would add this one to your list because this game is very smooth and it performs stable on my gaming machine, that is most important for stress-free gaming. The graphics and framerates are exceptional and very smooth on my GTX980M 8GB Graphics Card. The gameplay is very good and even excellent as 99% of the time, the Friefighters and Medics respond to your commands as you instruct them. The storyline missions are well set out and as you would expect…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its an okay game in that it kept me occupied for a few hours but then missions got too samey and limited to what vehicles and emergency services you can control. I had a multistory fire raging out of control and yet mrs brown is wandering under it on her way to play bingo. Where were the cops to put down road blocks, tape off scenes of accidents etc?. I remember playing a similar game recently in which you had to control police too as well as engineers. I was hoping this game would include…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game, i've enjoyed it a lot but the emergency calls get repetitive. I would really like if we were able to download mods from the steam workshop and i would really like it if there were more new different missions and more trucks added to the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The camera is not controlled by wasd or arrow button and there's no buttons is on rotating the camera
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Needs more missions! Overall good game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first part was already not that good. And at first glance this could be good. But it is ridden with many game breaking bugs. I haven't played that long (half an hour maybe) and already encountered two. It started as I was setting up the sound ... and music and fx where gone for no reason ... and that was the foreboding shadow. (yeah, I know that is not game breaking ... but if you encounter bugs here you already get a bad feeling). A few missions in ...five or so and tutorials still…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really a good game, its rather repedative at times and the fact that you cant rotate the screen is infuriating. i would reccomend this game but it needs a few fixes such as the rotation of the screen so i could see victoms obscured by the environment. other than that its fun and shows promise. please fix the rotation though as i am courently suck because i cant save one person so i fail.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a Emergency Services related games, naturally you see my name pop up here. Edit: The problem was solved by the Devs in a fast and efficient manner. Bravo ! I haven't played the game nearly long enough for a full review. But from what I have seen so far I think this is a serious contender to give other Titles of the same genre a run for their money. I am still not sure what I think of the more comic style approach on the graphics, however I love the depth that develops as you progress…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought i would get over the crappy UI. 4 clicks just to start extinguishing a fire, sometimes it also deselects your active person. The missions are very simple it just takes time to complete the clicks
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Everything fine and it was pretty fun playing until that one level came. The game thinks for whatever reason that it should give you a tutorial about new mechanics AFTER you figure it out yourself in a normal level. So there is this one level,no fire hydrant to pull water from and only some sewer thing that had the same symbol as hydrants. So i tried hooking up my water flow to it but nothing worked and i didnt have the patience to extinguish all fires with tiny extinguishers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Characters didn't even do things for you at least a 1/4 of the time, I thought we were done with hard to control games, folks. Biggest waste of 20 bucks I've seen, I'd rather have spent it on DLC
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A recycled version of "Rescue: Everyday Heroes". Same ♥♥♥♥ again. Negative: Looks unfinished. Steam Achievement do not work! Repetitive and unoriginal mission design. Only 5 hours of gametime then you have seen everything. Recommendation: Do not buy! Unfinished and uninspired game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An entertaining game can be a bit repetitive I recommend it but only in a Steam sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a big fan of this style of game, and I really want to like it, but there are so many little annoyances and disappointments that keep it from being a really gratifying firefighting game. Pros: -It's good looking -- I think the graphical style is great. -Laying hoses is super-cool, I remember playing older games like Fire Captain and Emergency Fire Response and wishing they would show hoses laid down instead of just abstracting it. In Rescue 2, you have hoses going everywhere, and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is pretty enjoyable, but it's not Emergency level yet. I like Emergency level more because it has a bigger open world and the missions come in more randomly. In this game I have a feeling I'm doing the same mission over and over (at some point). Besides that the game has alot to offer and is really fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a real life firefighter i had a great time playing this game, it is pretty accurate, the foam' the types of fire, although the tenders are overy powered i still think its a great game for anyone who wants to understand how the fire service' very recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a Firefighter I try all of the emergency type games. This one is on par with most and I would give it a 3.5 out 5. My only really dislike of the game is the repeating of the same random missions over and over. The devolopers should have a random scenario generator to make each incident unique. I recommend this game mainly for the fire fighters out there that will get a couple hours of enjoyment out of it. To the average gamer this might not be your cup of tea.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played now 7h, finished the campaign and saw every single mission at least 10 times. Not only the scenarios are repetitive, e.g. a burning hot dog stand, it's every single time the same kind of fire, the same number of casualties and even the places of the bodies in the map are identical. In the end I've finished nearly every missions in about 30 sec by just sending the foam vehicle. The mission costs are identical for every vehicle so there was not even a penalty in doing so. he…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the art style but unfortunately the meager selection in both missions and units is not worth the price tag. At something like $10 I might begin to recommend it.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good game. dead development after only a few up;dates. same happened with there other titles aswell
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Same mission all over the game keep repeating.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Everything is great but please fix the achievment problem! I pay for this game and you're taking me for a fool. Just fix this, please. respect your customers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like it, but it get repetative at times. 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun for what it is. As a firefighter, I love seeing games the make managing a fire station/department something you're able to do. I was disappointed in how repetitive it was with the same missions over and over and not being able to control more of the fire station. The game has so much potential, it just needs more put into it with patching and expansions.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the first one of Rescue Hereos and really enjoyed it accept it lacked certain aspects which Rescue 2 has. Wish there was more random missions instead of playing the same ones over and over again, gets pretty repetative. Great game though, definitley worth the purchase, hope to see some more mission and unit updates from developers soon!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game way better then emergency 5. Which pretty much was one of worst of that time game ever and that comming from a long time fan of Emergency services allway starting with version 1.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What do I think about RESCUE 2? It is great. It is fun and challenging. There are no issues in terms of graphics or gameplay. Very few bugs/glitches were stumbled across while I played this game. Is it better than the last one? No. I only say this because there is not a great variety of fire engines unlike Rescue 1. However, this sequel does not dissapoint, unlike some other sequels. This is a great game for boosting tactical strategy skills. The only negative part of this game is the lack of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game concept and options are really clever. You become a fire chief, send various types of units to rescue people and gain reputation in your city. Unfortunately, there are bugs in the game which make it impossible to play in the long run. In some story missions you are forced to use some types of vehicles, which don't work as they should and therefore you can't complete the missions. Personally, I've played the game for 3 hours before such mission occured - so I think it's not worth it. Do…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WOOOOOOOOOO I've not played each one of these, but, as a licensed game freak, the rankings go something like: 1. Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue 2. Toy Story 3 3. A Bug's Life 4. Toy Story Racer 5. Buzz Lightyear of Star Command Toy Story is there too I guess
unlabelledView post →This is the worst piece of garbage I have ever played in my life. This game is HORRIBLE. I payed $4.49 for it and feel like I was totally ripped off.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just plain "no".....the game is very tedious, its difficult to point and click on the 'little firefighters". game crashes, you cant select more than one firefighter at one time, not worth the money, repetitive, gets boring after an hour, ect, ect.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is not what I expected. My main issue has to do with the controls. Sometimes the things I click on do not respond or it is just not obvious what I am supposed to click on to achieve what I want. First I thought it was on me and that I just had to get into it, but just now I ragequitted because I could not get the firefighter to extinguish the fire...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bad game, super repetativ and no way of seeing what resauces you need fot the mission
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not bad for an old game, but it seems asif the use of the tall ladder by the firefighter doesn't function correctly which of courde messes around with your mission time.
