Be the big communism builder you always dreamed of! Incredibly satisfying just seeing all the trains go wheeee! store.steampowered.com/app/784150/W...
unlabelledView post →So, what'd everyone pick up in the Steam sale? I got: Cataclismo ahead of its 1.0 launch today Asylum, the new game from the developer of Scratches Neon White, which I've been meaning to play forever Workers & Resources DLC 'cos I wanna make a soviet Ireland How bout you?
unlabelledView post →I need to get back to playing Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic at some point, though I'm probably gonna have to re-do the tutorial, that game is dense
unlabelledView post →Begin your journey through history in Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic with the Early Start DLC—launching May 22. Build from the 30s, master coal and steam, and explore two new real-scale maps. Check out the newest trailer: https://youtu.be/NCimoy3Oahw
unlabelledView post →Yeah, the new Workers & Resources steam era DLC is phenomenal! I'm building on a St. Petersburg map right now, with a 1930 start date, and it's been one of the most memorably beautiful city-state builds I've ever done in any game. #citybuilder #sovietrepublic #steam
unlabelledView post →This week on the podcast, with Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic emerging out of early access, I assembled an executive committee including @jonbolds.bsky.social, Sin Vega, and @donoteat.bsky.social to figure out who this game is for. (The answer is weirdos like us.)
unlabelledView post →...how have only 1.3% of players made a functional society with 25k population? What are all of you doing in the game instead?! That's like the first 5 minutes of Cities/Sim City! Also, who else plays Workers & Resources?
unlabelledView post →A lot of my friends are intimidated to play Workers & Resources, & rightfully so, it's a steep learning curve. This setup is probably the best for getting to learn some of the complexities of the game without making you want to pull your hair out. I'd also recommend for beginners turning off cash
unlabelledView post →GAME OF THE YEAR - #6 Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic Nearly every city builder since 1989 has been based on the same book, which sucks. Getting to build a city under a completely different economic system highlights how samey their philosophies all are.
unlabelledView post →Discovered that there's a youtube channel called City Planner Plays which is an American urban planner mostly playing Cities Skylines. He's now playing Workers & Resources and it's quite funny how he's bringing these unexamined, very American assumptions to the game and screwing himself as a result
unlabelledView post →SimFest is here! And this year's theme is "Workers & Resources". 🛠️ I wonder which one of our game best fits the theme... Check out the event page and you might find a new simulation game to play like it's a second job. https://store.steampowered.com/sale/simfest2026
unlabelledView post →Hadn't played a city sim for a while, so I picked up SOVIET REPUBLIC (snappy subtitle "Workers & Resources") in the Steam sale. It's... well, it's pretty dense. I've got almost two hours of play time in and I've barely scratched the tutorials (of which there are many).

unlabelledView post →2025's Steam SimFest theme is Workers & Resources. In these sim games, every job counts & every resource matters. unlabelledView post →It's nice to see Manor Lords even get recognized, but it's still in Early Access and I don't think the level of Early Access it's currently in is GOTY-worthy. If they were going to do one HH game, it should have been Workers & Resources, which did actually come out this year.
unlabelledView post →I'm not trying to be mean but "Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic" absolutely sounds like the name of a game I'd come up with when making fun of computer strategy game titles.

unlabelledView post →It's a shame Devs that used genAI before that notice system was implemented don't have to retroactively apply it. Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is a great game, but I didn't realise they used genAI for a handful of pictures until I was past the refund deadline.
unlabelledView post →Yyyyyoooo Workers & Resources is a helluva game to sink time into. I’m almost up 1000hrs on it, having dabbled with it since early access on and off when I find down time.
unlabelledView post →See, now I want to see a war game that *is* about this. Building Workers & Resources style manufacturing and logistics infrastructure, making fine-tunable configurations of war resources, and shipping them off to fight offscreen. Competitive multiplayer is basically the same with minimal interaction
unlabelledView post →I haven't actually played it, but I've heard good things about Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, which seems to have a historically accurate emphasis on heavy industry. www.sovietrepublic.net
unlabelledView post →According to Steam Replay, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic was @adzuken.bsky.social's most played PC game this year. Here's how that happened. maxutmost.com/oh-crap-i-fi...
unlabelledView post →4. Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic. The most obvious game on this list, maybe. A genuinely different citybuilder that doesn't just seek to emulate Will Wright's Reaganite libertarian fantasies, deeply concerned with logistics chains and materialism. Also not as hard as its reputation suggests!
unlabelledView post →Hey, I don't normally shill, but there's a game I have been lusting after, and the price is now so low I jumped on it! Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is only $9.99 See y'all next month LOL
unlabelledView post →I tried playing the Siberia map of Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic. I tried multiple times. It's beyond my skill for now because of how much time is spent in deeply cold winter months. I just kept running out of money for essential goods and resources that I couldn't get enough of on my own.
unlabelledView post →I want a railroad management game with the gameplay of Workers & Resources but just the train stuff.
unlabelledView post →Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is such an amazing game. Micromanaging the needs of Yuri Malokov and his wife was my mission this morning. I didn't do too well. But he works on the radio!
unlabelledView post →In Soviet Russia Train Takes You! Tonight we are live on Twitch with a new (to me) game Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic This is my first time playing so come on by to watch me struggle lol twitch.tv/aria_the_fox Todays art is by: @libearty.bsky.social
unlabelledView post →I am not a communist and think communism sucks. My belief is in something like a strong, robust and attentive socialist/socially responsible (pick which puckers you less) core, enveloped in an open market capitalist woobie. And yet my current favorite PC game is Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic.
unlabelledView post →Auntie Raz has adopted the mentality of “it’ll get there when it gets there” and Workers&Resources Soviet train-broken is a great game for that. Just get an old truck and have some wizard rock it around the country, send it by rail. It’ll get there eventually. If you planned your routs correctly
unlabelledView post →If the Workers & Resources devs see this they will add it to the game
unlabelledView post →Going live with: We're almost on a boat! Or atleast our exports! https://twitch.tv/spoonloeffel Playing: Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic #StromZeit #Stream #VideoGames #Twitch #PlayedOnLinux #WorkersAndResources
unlabelledView post →Workers & Resources is a game that I will always come back to for its robust economic simulation. It it jank? Absolutely. Does it make me want to rip my hair out? All the time. But the combination of city builder and factory sim scratch an itch that no other game really can. It's $10 right now.
unlabelledView post →I love how Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic has a lot of historically accurate aesthetics and technologies, but because it's a game you don't have to be historically accurate. As such, my Siberian country has learned nuclear energy before learning how to make cars or refine oil.
unlabelledView post →I've been following this game since it was in early production! It's up there with Workers & Resources as one of my favourite citybuilders. It's especially fun to challenge yourself to build historically with fields being laid out accurately with the morgen measure.
unlabelledView post →Yuuuuuuup, pretty much have been there with the game since 2018. Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic replaced it for me
unlabelledView post →Also games like Workers & Resources have also fixed this. I wouldn't bother making excuses for lazy game design. This is merely inattentive on part of the game dev team for "not knowing how train roll." That's the crux of my gripe. We have the technology.

unlabelledView post →The game called "Workers & Resources" isn't even on sale lol
unlabelledView post →If you're into sandbox games, Transport Fever 2 and Workers & Resources are both top notch, the first for its refinement in the series and the latter for merging the urban planner and management game in an unfamiliar setting
unlabelledView post →Some nice news from the devs behind Workers & Resources. Next update they are replacing all of the genAI artwork used in the game. Shouldn't have been used in the first place, but it's good they are removing it.
unlabelledView post →The article says there is a way to report it while in game using the Steam Overlay. I'll do this for Workers & Resources because they still haven't disclosed their user of genAI the advisor portraits and some other still images.
unlabelledView post →Workers & Resources is very much not a Paradox game
unlabelledView post →I found a new theme song for the Workers & Resources Soviet Republic game! www.youtube.com/watch?v=UE-j...
