QUEST 64 !

unlabelledView post →FERAL BLOOD DOLL is a full-blown first person CRPG in the vein of Wizardry 8 or Might & Magic VI. Tactical turn-based combat. Tons of classes, skills, stats and systems. A game where you have to discover everything for yourself without handholding.
unlabelledView post →I’ve been really enjoying Wizardry 8, unfortunately I cannot play as or kiss the Ratkin so it’s unfortunately a bad game
unlabelledView post →looking at a guide for the process of adding custom portraits to Wizardry 8 and the writer of the guide genuinely does not seem to understand why you would want to look at any character in a game that isn't an anime girl with massive tits
unlabelledView post →Hot damn if Wizardry 8 isn't just, incredible What I keep hitting with these games is evolutionary branches that just, died, and the games today are weaker because of it. Everyone is still functionally copying the likes of Elder Scrolls, for instance: THIS HAS A GENUINELY COOL LOCK PICKING GAME
unlabelledView post →A decade... you mean 24 years ago lol And yeah, Wizardry 8 is a fantastic game, still has an active modding community. Wizards & Warriors is also a must-play if you want old-school dungeon-crawling in 3D and don't mind some jank.
unlabelledView post →Wizardry 8 was such a good game for its time. The right amount of complexity and jank lol

unlabelledView post →2/3 the series is also well known for having the ability to import your character from one game to another, and you can even give a Diamond Ring to an NPC in Wizardry 8 (2001) that you can only get from an enemy in Wizardry 6 (1990)
unlabelledView post →amidst all the cancelled shows and game series, we have the Wizardry Dark Savant Trilogy for PC, which stretches from 1990 to 2001, which u might know as a time of RAPID advancement in computers by all accounts Wizardry 8 (the last one) is extremely good, and its incredible it saw the light of day
unlabelledView post →Today on stream: Miserable Adventure of Total Losers I was able to figure out how to run Wizardry 8 (one of my all-time favourite games) on my computer, so we are going on a fun adventure today. See you in less than 2 hours.
unlabelledView post →Is this rage-bait? I was playing Wizardry 8 last week and it feels incredibly modern. It's 25 years old. And Atlas just remade Persona 3, an RPG that was released in 2006. It's sold over 2 million units in 2 years and is their fastest selling game ever!
unlabelledView post →Going through some backups today and found this old screenshot of Wizardry 8, which I think was taken during my first playthrough... Not gonna lie, Vi Domina was dead on the money with her remark 😭 I'm sure fans of the game will immediately recognize the area 😅
unlabelledView post →The Interactive fantasy map for #Wizardry 8's Trynton is complete and now available! Now that I've completed one of the most complex maps in the game, I will start on Arnika, then the Graveyard Retro Dungeon. #RetroGaming #PCGaming #PCGame #Videogame 🕹️ 🎮 www.crimsontear.com/game-guides/...
unlabelledView post →Damn, the game reminds me a bit of Wizardry 8, huge shame. Fuck nazi's dawg, evil.
unlabelledView post →Makes me wanna play Wizardry 8 again.. 😢. Loved that game.
unlabelledView post →game being Wizardry 8, wanted to start with the 1st one but I really can't be bothered setting up DOSBox again for stuff and I wanted to play one of the older versions that don't look so pretty even by 1990 standards
unlabelledView post →#WoTSkies Introduce yourself with: (not including any WoT stuff because that seems too easy) One book: Llamas Night by Katherine Kurtz One Movie: Highlander One album: Rush 2112 One TV show: The Middleman One game: Wizardry 8
unlabelledView post →We're playing Wizardry 8 from 2001 on twitch.tv/syrlantar MAYBE. The setup is janky. If this fails, we'll move to another game. Let's gooo
unlabelledView post →Playing so much Wizardry 8 and drank so much coffee today I'm a bit physically sick from it all but I do think Wiz8 redlines it pretty freaking close to Ideal Video Game at least in every way that my preferences and reality align
unlabelledView post →The Wizardry game I want to try to go back and play eventually is Wizardry 8
unlabelledView post →It has free 3D movement, but is that enough to make it Wizardry 8-like? Still, solid game. The humour can get tiring an the UI is a mess, but you can tell Jay Barnson knows his old-school RPGs.
unlabelledView post →I got Wizardry 8 because the demo was fun but the game itself had the most vertical difficulty curve I've ever experienced.
unlabelledView post →The updated walkthrough for the second chapter of #MurderInTheAlps is out. 🕹️📱🎮 I will continue to focus on updating this guide before focusing all my energy on Wizardry 8 but expect slow work to continue on the maps until then. www.crimsontear.com/game-guides/...
unlabelledView post →I spent time checking, because it sounded impossible to me to keep an item on 3 different games (Wizardry 6 ->7 -> 8) All is true. The NPC in Wizardry 8 is named Bela. The ring he seeks is the diamond ring, which can only be obtained in Wizardry 6. A game released 11 years before. 😮 Mind blowing
unlabelledView post →I just realized that the game I thought was also known as Wizardry 8 for the PS2 was actually part of a Japanese only splitter series that also came out in 2001, but is actually connected to the main series.

unlabelledView post →This one is really near and dear to me, so I hope you enjoy our new episode on Wizardry 8, which has long been one of my favorite games. The game still holds up really well for us despite some jank and the more punishing design choices. open.spotify.com/episode/0dN6...
unlabelledView post →Wizardry 8 is one hell of a game
unlabelledView post →I have now played #Wizardry 8 for over 450 hours while making the guide for that game. That doesn't even include earlier playthroughs in the years before. And people wonder why I barely have time to play other games in my free time.
unlabelledView post →I just tried playing an older computer game that was released long before I learned how to build and operate a PC. The game is called Wizardry 8 and it is very interesting so far. They certainly don't seem to make games like this anymore! You can even have cat people and dog people in your group.
unlabelledView post →Battlefield 1 was going to be my long form stream game. So with that one sadly out of the picture, I had the realization of why not just stream a game or two that I haven't streamed in a long while. So yeah - Wizardry 8 and Aquanox time again.
unlabelledView post →Heard we were doing our Top 9 Games (immediately forgot every game I'd ever played, save for my beloved Wizardry 8) my9games.com
unlabelledView post →yeah it looks so nice definitely gonna try them out! reminds me a lot of other game UIs in that era like classic EverQuest or Wizardry 8
unlabelledView post →GOG is having a lot of 503 errors again. Which is a shame as it is preventing you from picking up Wizardry 8 for $2.29 AUSBUX or your local equivalent. www.gog.com/en/game/wiza...
unlabelledView post →The first game I played on my new lappy was Wizardry 8 so it didn’t exactly showcase the machines potential lol But after that I replayed Elden Ring bc of the DLC and Going from Low-Mid to Mid-High on all settings was an astronomical difference for that game The clothes are so detailed!
unlabelledView post →when were you most proud to identify an actor/voice actor? i was playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution with a friend when William Taggart suddenly sounded awfully familiar. because the voice cast of Wizardry 8 wasn't listed at the time, we had to install the game on his computer to prove my point

I guess no pc could handle this game back then huh no PC exept a FALCOM NOTHWEST GAMING PC WHERE FRAMERE IS LIFE BABY
unlabelledView post →Another chapter has been redone for our #MurderInTheAlps walkthrough. 🎮📱 With "The Heir" complete, only one chapter remains to be updated. Hopefully it will be completed next week so major work can begin for Wizardry 8. www.crimsontear.com/game-guides/...
unlabelledView post →The walkthrough for #MurderInTheAlps part 1, chapter 4: Dancing with the beasts has been redone. 🎮🕹️📱 I am pushing myself to get the last 2 chapters redone in the coming weeks so I can continue with Wizardry 8 as I feel I am far behind my expected schedule. www.crimsontear.com/game-guides/...
unlabelledView post →You should do some Wizardry 8. That game is insane and amazing.
unlabelledView post →I've got one game I've attempted to stream that I've genuinely had to use Desktop Capture for (Wizardry 8), because the game itself auto-minimized when losing focus; I trimmed the capture down to just the size of the game's window, using Notepad as a stand in/wall paper and icon blocker, though.
unlabelledView post →Yehhhh, let's hope, because I know Wizardry 8 is a really cool game. I'll probs find time for it someday. It's also one of those games where I inserted custom portraits in lieu of the default portraits to represent my party back then; I did it in Wizardry 7 too, but it was a bit of a hassle iirc.
unlabelledView post →I’m back in the Wizardry 8 trenches baby I love this 23 year old game so much, in all my play through I only beat it once (mainly because i can’t decide what ocs to stick with so i restart a lot lmao)
unlabelledView post →But hey, Romero is going to be remembered for that game, and not Wizardry 8 because the latter is good as a video game and not as a way to feel clever over others.
unlabelledView post →Story time. I just started Wizardry 8 and somehow my fighter got disease and insane permanent status! So, he would attack other players. No save game editor fixed it. So, I gave the .SAV file to ChatGPT. It found the bug - 9999 duration (clearly a bug) and changed it to 0. It worked! #gaming #rpg
unlabelledView post →I have nothing against Grimrock, those games are great for a blobber dungeon crawler throwback type of game, but there's nothing ever since that quite plays like Wizardry 8 specifically
unlabelledView post →Im kind of a fake fan because I've only gotten into them recently but Wizardry was super cool and very influential (especially in Japan which is a cool bit of history) and it has never really recovered from Sir-Tech's closure. I would love a new game in the vein of Wizardry 8 so bad
unlabelledView post →Fine. The algorithm obviously wants me to install Wizardry 8 and play through for the 20th time... I'm not actually complaining. Should I do a solo fairy ninja run?
unlabelledView post →Seriously, Wizardry 8 is $2.25 AUSBUX for the next few days. It's on sale several times a year. Grab the speed-patch and go. (Honestly, this is another title that needs a QOL modern OpenWiz8 engine port, but it is totally playable as is) www.gog.com/en/game/wiza...
unlabelledView post →Is Wizardry 8 a hard game? I heard that the older ones are even some kind of bullshit.
unlabelledView post →I learned the hard lesson on last night's stream that Wizardry 8 is a game that will back hand you into the stratosphere. So I don't think I will be returning to that game, lol. My quest for a long form stream continues. I'll try Aquanox next time.
unlabelledView post →I LOVE OLD GAMES RAHHHHHHH (oldest game here is Akalabeth from 1979, youngest is Wizardry 8 from November 2001)
unlabelledView post →Yearly urge to try finish a Wizardry 8 run is coming up i can feel it I also wanna start that wizardry mobile game again soon now that i have a newer phone 🤩
unlabelledView post →I briefly thought about getting this blobber then I remembered its Dev had some controversy when it came out. Oh yea, he is a self proclaimed "Neanderthal" and is horrible really with his opinions. www.gog.com/en/game/grim... I will just go play Wizardry 8
unlabelledView post →big shoutout to Wizardry 8, by the way. that game badly deserved more love and success, great voice acting being just one of the reasons
unlabelledView post →Day 10 If you enjoy RPGs, you need to play Wizardry 8, simple as that. A criminally unappreciated masterpiece of a game where every class and every race is an absolute blast to play. The customization is out of control, it’s such a good game - please play it.
