You never know which two WIkipedia articles are going to be pitted against each other, but every matchup leads to interesting and funny discussions. I've had fun playing with the "Streamer vs Chat" Twitch integrated mode, but I've also had fun just playing it as a co-op with my viewers where we discuss together before I pick an answer against the game's bot. This game is fantastic value for a couple…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is the smartest twist on these type of comparison challenges I've seen to this date. Comparing wikipedia articles is really fun because you end up learning about all sorts of events, historic figures, but also biology, geography and more. Then when you see an article you're curious about you can just press a button and the game will open it up. It's great Having the two choices of betting either on the most viewed or longest article is also a really smart design choice, it brings a…

Check my steam curator page at https://store.steampowered.com/curator/39607348-Random-Game-Reviews-by-Labprofess/ . Follow appreciated! — I always thought of myself as an outlier, something that is weird for reading wikipedia articles in his free time. I have never met anyone prior with the same trait. Something about those articles always pulled me closer to them: was it the knowledge I'm gaining, the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A delightfully simple top trumps of Wikipedia pages. Two randomly selected articles are placed before you - you guess which is longer or more popular. Runs are 10 correct answers or you fail if you get 3 wrong answers. Graphically workmanlike but its oddly satisfying. This is because WikiArena has an extra layer of social snooping because what's popular or well documented never seems to be what you initially think it should be. That curiosity drove me to play longer than I expected. Good for a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is super simple but can end up being a lot of fun. It certainly puts your deduction skills to the test in a fun way and if playing with friends, you'll end up having a lot of discussions about each "wiki fight". At this price, the game is basically a steal.

unlabelledView post →This became within a scant few introductory seconds the best party game/icebreaker I've ever spent a buck fifty on. Really challenging, chin-scratching, sometimes agonizing game of simple choices based on what you think other people know or care about based on what you know or care about and how much you think anyone else would know or care about that. There's vs. mode, there's a bot you can play against, there's other ways to prove you know nothing about how wikipedia works and be defeated by…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very elegant little game and quite fun - the basic principle is to compare two random articles pulled form Wikipedia and evaluate which of them either: a) is a longer article (in words); or b) has received more views in the past 60 days. You're granted a short summary introduction from the article (the first 30 or so words of the article) and sometimes an image from the article. It's fun to get competitive around this, and it's great at starting random conversations if you play with…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is exactly what it looks like, and I enjoy it quite a bit. I could see firing this up for 10-20 minutes a few times a week for sure.

unlabelledView post →I like random trivia. This game is actually a challenge. It's a good concept and I find myself saying "one more game" more than I should.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A neat and simple little trivia game, learned some new stuff while playing so it's a winner in my book.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple idea, simple execution. The rules are clear within seconds and there is barely anything in the game to distract you from playing. I'm personally playing it for a couple of minutes per session, but I see how you can sink hour after hour into it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple fun that's deceptively challenging. It's really fun to see the wild different things that come up sometimes from obscure scientific chemicals to architecture or sports figures from other countries. Worth the $2 for sure if you like seeing unusual articles and playing a game around them too. Wikipedia is great.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game if you're bored and wanna pass the time! I tried to play it with my mom but she said it looks boring. I'll have to play it more by myself now. D:
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a really fun game and taps into my Wikipedia deep dive habits very well. The strategy and choice-making is really engaging and you find yourself noticing the trends in popularity and length and building your game plan. I'd recommend this game to anyone who finds themselves hitting the random page button on Wikipedia or amassing a big collection of browser tabs with articles to read.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great little game! Highly recommend picking it up to play on your own, and especially to have some friends over and see who can get the higher score. Super easy to understand and play so unless you hate fun, anyone can enjoy it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very fun for fans of random trivia and wikiracing.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great little game! You are given the intro text of two Wikipedia articles, and it's up to you to either decide which article is longer or got more views. What's great is that you are usually served articles you never even heard of. So you'll have to use deductive reasoning to draw your conclusions. Best of all, there are literally millions of Wikipedia articles, so this game offers effectively INFINITE CONTENT! For a few bucks, I'd say that' a pretty good deal!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Creative and fun little game that fits perfectly into a father's gaming routine!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was actually a little skeptical at first, because these kinds of games - trivia/party games - aren't usually my thing, but this is so much more awesome than I expected. Obviously this must be amazing for streaming but I also love that it's actually very fun even playing by yourself, which is really the biggest surprise. Extremely easy to learn to play, and given that every Wikipedia article being the content, it seems like you could probably play it indefinitely and almost never see the same…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A compelling an unique intuition game! Fun for laughs with friends. Also you get to learn interesting trivia as you play! Bonus!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple, fun game that you really can enjoy developing strategic patterns for over time. "Football articles generally have more views", "Weirdly radio station articles tend to have more views than Russian municipalities", "Oh no a radio station vs a Swedish football club"! This is WikiArena.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun concept! I really like how it challenges you to think before you choose. Additionally, the price point is extremely attractive! I look forward to playing more :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its an enjoyable and calming game (but also doable "competitive" or "party", see below), basically guessing about other peoples behavior and needs. You can play it for 5 minutes or fall in the typical Wikipedia rabbit hole for hours ;-) (But stay IN the game) The gigantic number of articles is a solid base of content. As the text and views change over time and relate to events this adds another dimension. "Have more people read or wrote about this remote location or about this second-rank…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WikiArena is such a quirky fun game you can play in bursts, and with the $1.99 price tag, it'll be one of the best $2 purchases you'll ever have!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun game to play. Can be played very casually, but also in what I call rabbit-hole-mode where one actually reads through a couple of interesting wikipedia articles along the way.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For little money (round about 2 bucks) you get a really fun, replayable "trivia rogue-like", which respects your personal time management. The core of the game is the comparison of two random Wikipedia articles and guessing which one is longer or more popular. The game starts of with a short enjoyable arena mode with the option to switch to others like endless, provides a mode where you can play against a bot and even your Twitch stream, which is, lets be honest, extra dope.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game you can understand in 5 seconds: You get two random Wikipedia articles and guess which one is either longer or gets more views. Such a simple idea, yet well-executed and endlessly varied thanks to the giant archive of articles the game pulls from. The fact that you choose whether to bet on length or views adds a neat little "strategic" twist to the classic "higher or lower" formula. And those bars slowly filling up from the left and right side can generate some pretty tense moments!…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic (and pretty challenging!) trivia game that never gets old! Also great for delving into obscure but interesting Wikipedia articles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple yet effective little game that lets you constantly explore new wiki articles, while also engaging in a roguelike battle system, where you have to decide which article is longer between the two random articles chosen from the 6.5 million entries. Some articles will make the most sense in terms of getting more views where as other articles that are chosen will definitely stump you. Regardless, it provides a lot of fun and if you are introverted like me and also enjoy finding out about…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You might learn things but as a trivia game it's not great because all you do is say if the wiki article is longer of more views than the other article. I'll give it a thumbs up from learning stuff but thumbs down for a trivia game as it's not really that fun, it's just guessing. Steam needs a mixed thumb rather than just yes or no.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game. Creates nice little moments like when instead of picking the longer article, you go for views and it turns out to have more views but shorter text. Would be interesting to see more variations in game modes or settings, such as narrowing down the topics or always having two articles of the same topic battle each other. Never got more than 6 right answers before losing sadly.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Idea! This should be intresting! I thought... but after playing a couple games i am underwhelmed. The look of the game seems like 1990. I could have lived with that, if the game itself wasn't so bad. It's pure lucky game, the predictions are impossible. I wasn't able to win a single time to get 10 correct guesses without 3 wrong. It's simply impossible, so in the end, this game is just an extremely boring game of luck. Just click randomly, and it has the same chances of succes. Waste of…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WikiArena, developed and published by Ludokultur, is a clever and unconventional title that turns the vast, unpredictable landscape of Wikipedia into the foundation of a competitive guessing game. Rather than relying on traditional trivia formats, it builds its gameplay around inference and intuition, asking players to make educated guesses about randomly selected articles. It’s a concept that feels simple at first glance, but quickly reveals a surprising amount of depth once you begin to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun little game to kill a few hours with and learn a few things :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The real way to experience this game is to get some friends and laugh at the ridiculous articles it can pull from wikipedia. its a really fun idea to compare two random articles only knowing the title and brief description, and its also really easy to get misled. wikibot can be really smart though so be ready for their indomitable reign.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This probably is the simplest game I've ever paid for. You are confronted with the first sentence or two of two random Wikipedia articles and you gotta guess which is longer or which got more views in the past 60 days. The game keeps count. That's it, but it's not without appeal. Naturally a lot of the articles may just be game pieces, but every couple of rounds I come across something that makes me go "Huh! I'll look that up later!" and in my opinion that carries value. The results of the…
