positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a fun co-op tower defense game. Emphasis on "was", because the developer-hosted servers got shut down. For some ungodly reason, co-op was tied to said servers instead of simply being peer-to-peer or allowing for self-hosting. For yet another ungodly reason, player progression was also tied to said servers so everybody lost their entire progress as well. This is how you develop a game if your end goal is to slap your customers and players in the face. Frankly, this shouldn't even be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1) didn't realize online multi-player gaming was mandatory to complete all the quests, that sucks when I just wanted a nice single-player TD game; 2) the UI seems artificially slow, and notably cluttered/disorganized - I have a hard time understanding what I'm supposed to click on, and why.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An excellent time-killer, a fairly clear interface (even if it looks complicated at first glance), dynamic gameplay and even a story (which you can easily turn off if it stresses you) - all this makes this simple game an entertaining thing. By the way, there are a lot of achievements!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Paywall to get the last achievement. Also there is a maddening grind to get resources that makes end game content completely unenjoyable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't buy this game development has stooped and cant complete the game or continue without multiplayer the game has died and there servers are off so you cant compete in multiplayer very disappointing
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Devs just to get more money inserted 1 achievement in artbook DLC. I never seen a s**t like this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I saw this game on sale and it has Kingdom Rush vibes, so I thought I would give it a go. However, the game is kinda meh. - The start was very slow and I felt like I don't have almost any options for the first few hours. - Interface could use a lot of work, for example there is no 'retry' button when you lose a mission, you have to go back to main screen and click your way back. Units can get a promotion bonus where they score a certain number of kills, but there is no visible kill counter...…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple TD where you build some buildings and stuff then go to battle and place troops like towers. Spells can be casted at enemies. For me game doesn't have much charm, it's just another TD. Pretty bad actually.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seems like a decent, run-of-the-mill Tower Defence game, but it barely reaches this goal, which makes me not recommend it. There is a City Management system advertised as a selling point, which seems to offer you the possibility to tailor your builds to your liking, but it is executed so shallowly. Most of the upgrades are extremely linear and locked behind progressing in the levels, allowing you 2-3 "forced" upgrades per level clear. The game gives you a pop-up asking you if you wish to skip…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've never been more excited about tower defense. Nice visuals, diverse gameplay for this genre, story and humorous inserts are present
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Warstone TD is merely okay. It's not great, but far from terrible. Normal difficulty will in most cases fail to provide meaningful challenge, but there are two higher difficulties and various, well, challenges to complete for stars if that's your cup of tea. I thought maybe I'd try for 100% on this one, but in the few highest difficulties I tried I already came across several that I couldn't complete, so maybe that's just not for me. Still, it's nice knowing the difficulty is there for those…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Warstone TD will satisfy if you're looking for a solid Tower Defense game. It focuses on upgrading and enhancing already existing towers, rather than having hundreds of them. It has its own story, humor, and comic-styled delivery in an attempt to make things interesting, yet the soundtrack fails as it's pretty repetitive. Beware that some achievements are locked behind DLCs, including "Artbook and Soundtrack", which I don't approve of being done so. Rating: B
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I do like the game, but do not buy. I can not progress in the game past a few levels in because it forces you to play online with other players, and now I have been on 2 separate occasions, both times waited hours, and it will not allow me to see, or join, any other game. OR let me create a game to play. There are ones I can, with difficulty, play and beat "solo" but the PVP is completely broken.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't recommend this. The foundation of this game is good, but too many bad design choices make the game very grindy and frustrating.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even though the servers are down, you can still play most of the game solo. The only real limit is that PvP and regular co-op aren’t available, but you can still do the co-op missions alone. It would be awesome if self-hosting through Steam or inviting friends was possible. The graphics are simple and easy on the eyes. I did have a bit of trouble figuring out how to upgrade things at first, but that’s mostly because I was skipping the text just to jump into the action. Overall, the game is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The coop is a joke , don't bother
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game doesn't work. Launched the program and it gets stuck at "Connecting to servers" on both Windows and Linux.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An excellent representative of the genre. Surprising to have some sane plot with sprinkles of humor. Not a bad balance and smooth increase in complexity. Very pleased with the presence of multiplayer, not pleased that no one plays it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game, definitely recommend it. its a nice chill game to play when trying to unwind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun, silly little TD game. And yeah, its main mission/campaign is definitely over too soon. I wouldn't have thought making basic stream levels would be that hard once they got the movement and damage/shielding mechanics all rock solid, but so it goes. Still a fun game, and definitely recommend if you like TD games.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun, clean and straightforward TD with ranking up / leveling up and minor city building aspects. Also has online co-op once you unlock the levels. It uses "platforms" to place units, and the units are your towers. There are many different modes, such as in which you're the mobs and the monsters have to stop you. Etc.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not great More comments for the developers: I've explored nearly every tower defense game available on the market, and unfortunately, this one didn't resonate with me for several reasons, outlined below. Despite my personal preferences, I acknowledge the years of hard work that undoubtedly went into developing this game, and I commend your creativity. Keep pushing the boundaries, even if this particular experience wasn't to my liking. Here are some detailed reasons why I found it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is really sad that the online game closed and I can no longer play this with friends. It was one of my favorite Tower defense games was alot like final fantasy crystal defenders which isnt on Steam. I hope in the future they make more games like this one. I also wish I could play with friends hosting the server myself i hope the devs offer up a way.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Base levels are fun. Coop levels are fun but are difficult since servers are gone. Not a fan of having to buy a artbook dlc to 100% a game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Innovative TD game. Unfortunately it innovates a bit too much and adds some very janky and annoying mechanics.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Warstone TD is a super fun tower defense game! Buy it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tower Defense has arrived in the shelf of masterpieces of the genere! Warstone is a game that should be on a par with such games as Plants vs Zombies and Orcs Must Die. What captivates this game is that everyone can play it, even those who were not previously familiar with this genre of TD. The unique styling, the story is written in the form of comics, which is good news. Atmospheric music immerses you even more into the world of the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My first impressions of the game were rather negative. But after getting a bit frustrated with the grinding for upgrades in the town and the resources you must farm to buy them, I decided to take a break and give it a new try. So I deleted my progress and started over. And it was surprisingly fun. I would just try the missions and the challenges until I felt too weak, then went back to town to get the upgrades for the towers I was finding useful and had a way better time than grinding for every…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite simple tower defense, classic plot, fourth wall and light humor. You can spend a couple of pleasant evenings here.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Whether you're a fan of tower defense games or RPGs, Warstone TD has something for everyone, with its unique mechanics, beautiful artwork, and addictive gameplay that will keep you coming back for more!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice balance of basic TD, purchasing upgrades and items and even some multiplayer. Thumbs up!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If your're a fan of TD games then I'm sure you will find something here to enjoy. Something about it has kept me coming back, even after finishing the main campaign. I've carried on playing much longer then expected, even trying to get max stars now. That doesn't happen for many games I try nowadays. I even purchased the DLC to show my support to the devs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quality TD game but... Slow loading screen even on high end PCs. Not newbie friendly, bad guide and navigation Kinda old but worth it...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I REALLY wanted to like this game. I love the female character designs. THICC Valkyrie's in chainmail bikinis? Chefs kiss👌🏻. But dear lord this is an absolute jank fest. It crashed my PC the first time I tried to run it, & every action you take feels incredibly awkward & clunky. Just generally an unpleasant experience.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So, I got this key from my fellow gamer and a streamer AlphaTheTitan, he's streaming at Twitch, you can go drop a follow and subs to him here: https://www.twitch.tv/alphathetitan. Also, watch his stream and you can redeem some games from him. Please kindly mention that you know him from me if you watch him because of my review here (my twitch tag will be @johnykism). I redeemed this key from his channel and he asked me to review it. First thing first, I will rate it 66 from 100. Why? 1. I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →co-op should be in big asterisk's, there's apparently only 4 co-op missions total.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent tower defense game. Not too hard but isn't just an idle game either and requires some critical input and some strategic placement. Some of the extra features in game like the city building is mostly just to unlock a building after each level you complete so you can use said building for the next levels. Normally don't play TD games but I had fun with it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice atmosphere, many difficulty settings allow for customized progress. A nice gem to pass the time with.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is it normal that my grandfather forces me to defend the path when I just want to build a wall? I'll go make him take some pills, he's gone completely crazy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My favorite tower defense, try it out
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's okay. Not a massive fan of this one. Also progression is pretty grindy due to town mechanics and to get 100% you need to play against other players (which I'm not a fan of). If you're a fan of the genre, you'll probably get some joy out of this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really great Tower Defense game and has online coop for 2 players as well as PvP absolutely recommend it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For such a discounted price there are no minuses. Suitable to spend in it not one dozen hours while you pump all the skills and master the characters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the better TDs to get out in the last few years, Only bad idea for me was the forced Co-Op maps. Otherwise everything was spot-on.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't continue because I am stuck behind a CO-OP mission
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tower defense with military units. Has required multiplayer sections.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun story driven tower defense. Optional story skip mode to just play the tower defense portion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the best TD I have played since WC3 TD maps.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clear, simple, but addictive TD. To name two best TD games I'd say Warstone TD and Rogue Tower!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty enjoyable low budget game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An addictive tower defence game with some unique twists and additional depth. Well worth giving a try.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well designed TD game. relaxing music. good skill tree where you can reskill, for free, at any time. revolutionary i know. only bummer is, that there is noone online to play pvp with.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad TD game. Recommended if you're a fan of the genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →awesome TD game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the most complete tower defense in the games industry
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like TD games, you could enjoy Warstone TD.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and relaxing!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got stuck into one card and didn’t notice how two hours had passed. I selected towers for each enemy - my head was really racing. Completed the entire campaign on medium difficulty, replayed the levels a couple of times because I was stupid
