Warno is a 2024 real-time tactics and turn-based strategy video game created and published by Eugen Systems, released into early access on 20 January 2022, and fully released on May 23, 2024. You mean the communists invaded over the weekend? I thought they were supposed to be friends of the working man!
unlabelledView post →A few missions into the campaign (Slitherine sent me a key), and I'm really quite impressed with Broken Arrow. It kinda sits at the intersection between World In Conflict (singleplayer focus, accessible, cinematic) and Eugen games like Wargame & WARNO (technical, multiplayer-heavy) and does it well
unlabelledView post →I thought WARNO was a game by Eugen Systems man.
unlabelledView post →WARNO for (what's hopefully) tonight's game
unlabelledView post →WARNO is a real time strategy game about the Cold War gone hot in the late 1980s. While thus far, it has been focused in Central Europe, there is upcoming downloadable content which introduces Latin American forces and a campaign about the US attempting to neutralize Cuba so it can focus on Europe.

unlabelledView post →POV: You let me build up my counterattack in WARNO. WARNO is one of the few games I'm great at in PvP. My trademark is large-scale set piece attacks. At times I can get an opponent to surrender just at the sight of it. It's rare to see such attacks in PvP, so people don't know what to do and panic.
unlabelledView post →At least the trend with WARNO is going to obscure stuff now that the obvious things are in the game. I really hope they re-add East Asia eventually. They hinted at a new theatre in a recent dev blog. My guess is Scandinavia again to redo ALB.

unlabelledView post →I want a WARNO like game but set in Strangereal. Someone make it happen, please.
unlabelledView post →I'm still trying to feel out my 1 Canadian Division build in WARNO, but the deck is pretty good. I've waited 12 years for Canada to be viable in a Cold War Eugen game.
unlabelledView post →This is "Gunner, Heat, PC!" I'm talking about here. But I'm glad Eugen doesn't make the chat open up by default in Warno, cause in the Wargame series you'd open up the game and immediately be hit in the face by someone with a steam tag of "Erich Honecker" liberally throwing around slurs.
unlabelledView post →I’m hooked on Armored Brigade II. It’s an engaging step up from a beer-and-pretzels RTS game like WARNO. It’s more tactical without being plodding, and the new 3D engine creates some truly epic battle scenes. Highly recommended! Now 25% off on #Steam. #Wargaming
unlabelledView post →I won my first WARNO ranked match after taking a break for over a year. The guy I played was pretty decent, but I checked after the match and he was just getting slaughtered in win rate. Hopefully he sticks with it. WARNO really is a savage game to try and play PvP.
unlabelledView post →It really depends tbh. I like what Eugene does with Steel Division 2 and Warno. You have a fully fletched out game, and the DLC/addons you buy only adds onto the game. If you really like it you can extend its longevity by buying rhem, but it’s not needed and it doesn’t overwhelm new players.
unlabelledView post →Fair! My one complaint with WARNO is that it is a bit too fast-paced for me. But at least in single-player you can slow it down. If you want a 2020 game like Wargame, have you heard of Broken Arrow? A few beta test game vids out there as well. store.steampowered.com/app/1604270/...

I had the pleasure of working with @eugensystems.bsky.social on their game WARNO, where I play SUNRAY along with other additional voices. #voiceover #voiceacting #videogames
unlabelledView post →I mean, they do that in Warno too and that game is made in France
unlabelledView post →I'd kill for a WARNO / Wargame or a Crusader Kings style 40k game... but Total War? The most modern ranged combat they've gone is 1864, and I don't think having chunky units walking into combat like OG Warhammer would work with most 40k factions.
unlabelledView post →Yeah, it's definitely not a low-stress game. I'm not a fan of PvP generally, but I do enjoy it in WARNO. It's more UI and control friendly than Red Dragon (lots of quality of life improvements) and will have a much more robust single player offering.
unlabelledView post →My favourite part of Steel Division 2 and WARNO is designing the battlegroups. 95% of my "playtime" is just me doing that instead of playing the actual game! I find it almost like a meditative exercise, tbh.
unlabelledView post →Yeah, I do enjoy the campaigns with friends. I wish the tactical AI was better, but I also understand it's a really difficult challenge to make engaging tactical AI in a game as complex as WARNO.
unlabelledView post →I really enjoyed my ad hoc #BattleTech scenario. It effortlessly created the type of war story PC gaming *used* to for me. (WARNO is about the only game that still does that for me, mostly due to the ability to rewatch a match and see all the tiny moments of courage 😄).
unlabelledView post →Yeah, and probably adopt the Paradox/Warno/Wargame model of developing a base game with a big scope and great foundations and then just selling big DLCs every year or so with small content packs every 6 months. I don't love that model but admit it does seem to work
unlabelledView post →Would anyone else kill for a battletech game with mechanics similar to War game Red Dragon or WARNO? I feel like a deck builder rts like that could work really well for battletech given the amount of attention given to equipment. Just my two cents #battletech #warno #mechwarrior #realtimestrategy
unlabelledView post →Ideally, a Flashpoint Campaigns game would feature either visualization or full battlefield simulation that looks as lavish as Wargame. But in this fallen world, we can't even get WARNO sans micro. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uutw...
unlabelledView post →Fifth will be Wargame: Red Dragon a long with it's successor WARNO I used to love going into pubs in the early years of this game and steamrolling with motorised decks but now the game is so old only people who know how to play are left so my ANZAC cheese doesn't work anymore
unlabelledView post →ive been playing a game called WARNO recently, wherein the A10 is the fatter and less versatile and less good and less cost effective but works-okay-if-its-what-you-have alternative to CAS variants of your F15 and F16 and Tornado and whatnot. WARNO is set in 1989
unlabelledView post →Lastly, #EliteDangerous remained my most played game in 2025. The runners-up were not surprising either as I continually play them. Those are my "mean" 4. #X4 #NMS #WARNO /4
unlabelledView post →WARNO League Season 4 starts next week and I am so hyped! Game is in a really great space right now, though I still hope we get the next patch and new maps soon. :)
unlabelledView post →Good evening oh great lady of the weapon-teams… gotta say, had an absolute blast of a game of Warno yesterday… managed to hold my points with barely anything and build up enough points to spam like 20 helis. As God truly intended lmao.
unlabelledView post →Played literally the perfect game of WARNO yesterday. I don't know how to explain it, but my neurons got tickled when I called "okay we need an operational pause" to my friends and six supply helis and two minutes later all my tanks were back on the line. Pure dopamine.
unlabelledView post →I’ve played Helldivers 2 and Space Marine 2, I have Warno and Tactical Breach Wizards but haven’t played them yet. Only one of those is AAA. Most of the game I like to play don’t get much (if any) attention from AAA studios.
unlabelledView post →no, its more like Warno/World at Conflict Mix. Basically an another iteration of a game based on Wargame series.
unlabelledView post →BEHOLD, THE POWER OF SOME TREES to hide in (WARNO, playing a campaign on the easiest difficulty because I am slow when it comes to RTS)
unlabelledView post →I got War Game on Musgrave's recommendation, bounced off it because I'm too dumb, got Warno, won 3 missions, then lost the 4th 8 times in a row because I'm still too dumb.
unlabelledView post →wait, WARNO is a game about war? i thought that was the one thing it wouldn't be about!
unlabelledView post →booted WARNO up for the first time. Man I am Bad at this game but also it is fun.

unlabelledView post →If I stream Warno tonight will I get jumped by smart people who actually know how to play the game?
unlabelledView post →There's a game called Warno I used to play while in early access, and then when it hit full release they filled it with obvious slop. No disclosure.
unlabelledView post →A bad game like WARNO will add an artillery piece that should never appear on the battlefield in an RTS because both the devs and the fans are hogs. Meanwhile, based game Regiments:
unlabelledView post →I think any subreddit is bad at indicating how "good" a game is. Are you having fun? Yeah ok it's fun. I'm currently playing Warno and some people are complaining about the strength of the divs in the game. I'm just picking divs that feel like fun, if a game is still engaging. That makes it worth it
unlabelledView post →When I thought about CA doing a 40K TW game, I imagined it would look like Eugen's WARNO, i.e., big, multi-KM maps that would allow for proper large scale, long range engagements. This...looks like small scale skirmishing. I am concerned CA is getting the scale wrong. 😟 youtu.be/QeCItSg-wmI?...
unlabelledView post →Broadly? I'd argue that SDII especially is more an operational game than anything. If you planned right that you'd have armor in this fight and they wouldn't even if you're dogwater at the game you're going to have a much easier time of it. WARNO its not as severe since there's more of everything.
unlabelledView post →Tried to play a game of Warno as a reward for a busy week and my graphics card has overheated and crashed, which I guess was predictable.
unlabelledView post →Now I have to buy this game. I really wish WARNO would stop updating and corrupting my save game files.
unlabelledView post →They’re never adding any kind of entrenchment or fortifications if it’s another historical game like WARNO cause the devs are fucking morons who think mines are “outside the scope” of the game but MLRS and Grads aren’t (please ignore the thousands of defensive obstacle belts along the IGB)

unlabelledView post →Back to playing RTS games after a long break. Warno has been really fun, but the 1v1 ranked games do tend to end up on the longer side. I'm also not sure if my 2nd Infantry deck struggling against enemy tanks is a tactical skill issue or an issue with the way I've built the deck. #warno #rts #gaming

What the hell. Back in my days it wasn’t like this.) and now chilling in the hotel lobby with Martin. We’re in town for the beyond tellerrand conference – with a whole bunch of coworkers who are all living close enough to not have to take the hotel. I personally love the fact…
