60 of 229 · most liked firstthis is not a bad game (especially not if you get it on sale), but if you get it you deserve to know what it feels like to control. if you have doubts, you can try it yourself and refund it if you need to. grindfest, and the control scheme feels like its fighting you. using mouse to click the item to take apart but also using it to turn around the room is jarring (also may just be a spit screen thing, but if you move the cursor all the way left your pov shoots around to the other side?) I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's basically no gameplay here, just keep clicking and occasionally move the mouse, a glorified flash game from back in the day. In the 30mins I played I heard every very distracting royalty free song in this at least twice.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very boring and repetitive, not worth the $0 i spent on it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay needs a total overhaul. As is, it's incredibly boring. The most exciting thing is just thrashing the mouse about like you're speedrunning carpal tunnel syndrome. I'd suggest being able and having to turn the toy parts around for certain stations, maybe putting some skill in by having chances to hurt the quality of the finished product by scrubbing too hard or painting/sticking outside of the lines the game'd put on the toy part.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's so tedious to disassemble a toy. Zoom into on part to detach it, it the zooms out automatically, zoom back in to detach the part right next to it, over and over again. Rotate the toy to detach the parts from the other side and for some reason you have you pull into to opposite direction. Some supplies and tools make so sense at all. You have to buy a new sponge and detergent for each toy that requires them for washing, but you only buy a paint set once and never run out of paint. The…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very relaxing game. Would greatly benefit from keyboard interaction rather than being forced to point and move around with mouse. Like someone in the review section said, it becomes a "carpal tunnel simulator" 😭 Its awkward, but I've started playing this with my left hand to remedy this to some extent😅

unlabelledView post →After 100%ing this Garbage. I have just one Tip for any other Completionist: DONT!!!! JUST DONT!!! its not worth the agony.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Found it quite boring if I'm being honest. Personally I couldn't recommend it to anyone.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →INSANE grind. You'll experience all of the content before the 1 hour mark. I then spent 20+ hours of horrible, tedious grind for badges/achievements (second monitor gaming basically). I'm lvl 274 and my next task is... Repair 250 more toys. Bruuuh. No.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Accidentally spent all of my coins and there is no way to sell my equipment to get those coins back so now I can't progress. When developing a game, You need to think of every scenario on how it's possible for the player to be stuck and not be able to progress.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A point-and-click game marketed as a simulator. The loop is straightforward. You accept projects, buy the items and equipment needed for the repair, click through the process, and deliver the toy. I can't even say this game handholds you because there's literally no room for any error or mistake. Since there's no management of any resource and you will progressively earn money to unlock more equipment, there's no real sense of progression, you are just unlocking more point-and-click situations…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea is interesting but unfortunately the game is a bit boring, you just click icons instead of doing immersive actions that actually feel like a simulator game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a relaxing and enjoyable game, especially if you like simple simulators. The idea of repairing and restoring toys is quite unique and creates a cozy atmosphere. The gameplay is easy to understand you take apart toys, clean them, paint them, and put them back together. It doesn’t try to be overly complicated, which makes it perfect for casual play. You can just relax and enjoy the process. I also liked the progression system, where you earn money and improve your workshop. It gives a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to say I very much enjoyed my time playing this game, I used to see toys like these all the time at my grand-parents place and you can tell the developers put a lot of care into the toy's you are repairing down to the ugly stickers you place onto them (it felt too accurate). I liked the photo taken after every job is complete. It made me feel accomplished after some of the harder jobs. And seeing the workshop become more and more filled as you progress in the game is a nice touch. The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A rather boring game where you just watch and nothing exciting really happens.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have you ever played a game that sucks all joy out of you? Well, I have played over 42 hours so you don't have to. You will spend most of your time click-and-draging for 4-5 seconds up to 20 times in a row for maybe three times (sand ~20 part, paint them and then putting a varnish on it). Your hand will take a beating from it. You will do the same toys over and over again and you will have no choices when it comes to the colouring. Have fun making magenta-only coloured stuff! The game is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zoom in and out then click and drag simulator. Inconsistent item workflow, sometimes items seem to jump to the workbench instead of the next machine/work area. No options for creative or player choice on how it gets done.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked it. It gets really repetitive surely but this is the game I feel like you can play while doing other things on the side. There is some bugs and the controls are a bit annoying at times but you do get used to them pretty quickly. I also got this for free and I will say the full price is very questionable, I'd wait for it 90% off to buy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2.3/10 cool idea, gameplay is mind-numbing tho coulnt even make it to the 1st achievement of finishing 3 toys - item durability..... just added to waste the players time - why does the game need soo many screw sizes??? realistic does not = fun
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →quite the fun little game, defo a game to pass time when your bored, i thought i would give it a go and an hour and half later has flown by. the reviews for a game that is free are crazy and a complete waste of everyone's time reading them. Yes there is a lot of clicking on a mouse and a lot of shaking the mouse but its all in the fun of the game. the in game prices are a little steep which means its grindy but its a great little simulator
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one gives you something to click around in whenever you need to wait for someone I guess. Or something you can do on auto-pilot while watching a video on another screen. The level of interaction is very simple and even more repetitive, unlocking new stuff doesn't feel exciting and there's just not much to see. Statistically, the majority of players quits before repairing their 3rd toy, which takes around 15 minutes. If the janky tutorial doesn't filter you, the mundane gameplay loop…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got for the fair price of free, but its still not worth playing. There are no choices, no skills, no game mecahnics and little atmophere, the entire game is a tine waster of "click the next thing" without puzzle or intrige. For example you need exactly the items to complete the job, and no mecahnic exists to use more or less, yet you don't buy them automatically, you add them to a grocery list, then have to find them in on the store website and buy each, before returning to the jobs page to be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Toy Tinker Simulator is a great way to discover that even being a toy store cleaner has its downsides. I was expecting a nostalgic return to childhood and a creative workshop, but instead I got a simulator of adult frustration. Most of the time you do nothing but scrub dubious dirt off plastic bears and hope that the virtual sponge will finally work. When you manage to clean the toy after half an hour, you find that the controls are as clumsy as if you were assembling the parts with winter…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is boring. You be doing repetitive work fixing toy with god awful control scheme that could strain your hand. 2/10 not worth 100 achieve this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game for free when it was given for free by steam last year as a promotion or something. Like when EpicGames give games for free type of sht. This is game is what the title says, you just fix toys. It's really nothing special, it's stupid and the toys are like they came from the WW1 OR WW2 era. XD So don't have any kind of expectations. For me It's the perfect game to waste your time while waiting for others to get ready to join you on another game or in general do things to keep…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The most barebones simulator game I've played that is more of a mobile game. At points I was waiting for the midroll ad to pop up in between repairing toys. Somebody in the steam reviews named it a "carpal tunnel simulator" and I couldn't agree more. Bad, awful, tragic.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I deleted this game from my account, game idea is good but realisation is bad and boring. The achievements: example you need repair 100 toys and then 200, but count starts every time from 0. Maximum amount of toys you need to fix is not 250(requirement for last achievement of repair toys) , nah it´s 578 in total! Absurd.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's ALRIGHT, if you get it for FREE or on SALE! 15 minutes of playtime, and I felt like it was enough. Take it for what it is, as the over all game mechanics are okay, it does not demand much from your RIG, and I did play somewhat. For something that was free, or purchased on sale. Its ALRIGHT!!! positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Toy Tinker Simulator is honestly not a great game. The concept itself may sound interesting, but the controls are super jank, and there really isn't anything exciting about the gameplay loop. I got this for free so I cannot complain... but I would not recommend this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just an unoffensive free game. It's simple and hasn't got anything insane to it but at the same time it would really do a lot with just adding stuff like keybinds to the game. Everything is mouse related and forgets to use the keyboard with the only keyboard usage being the music I muted to play my own. It's just a common fine simulator game that does nothing more than what the tin says.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quickly become repetitive Achievements are super-grindy (tinker at least 578 toys to have all -_-'). The devs of this one have to be added to the long list of developers not able to create entertaining and fair achievements that respect their players but free is free, add it to your library anyway ^^
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow, played 5 minutes and gave up! Was hoping for something similar to Car Mechanic Simulator or Powerwash Simulator, but was disappointed. Controls are awful, no fun at all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rinse and repeat fest. Insane grind too. And at an unreasonable price. Glad I got it for free though. There's just nothing special or redeeming I can say for this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →there are similar games for cheaper that have significantly more interactability than this game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Review at 3 hours playtime: This isn't so much a toy repair simulator, as it is a opacity slider simulator. Painting, cleaning, sanding - its all just sliding a opacity bar from 0 to 100 so the toy parts suddenly look clean or painted. However there is ASMR aspect to each of the 'tasks' in the game. The sound is very satisfying, and the cleaned product after you've slid all the sliders is very satisfying to look at. Then on to the next toy. I wouldn't play this game if you want to actually…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the idea of this game as I love restoration videos, but the execution is lacking. This plays mostly like a point and click game for young kids (5 years old). There is no skill from the player or really any sort of important movement. Just click this, click that, etc. Plus, the motion controls leave a lot to be desired.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is probably the worst simulator game I have ever played. The gameplay loop is incredibly lacklustre, with you just clicking different parts of your screen in a very spoon-fed manner. I tried to play it for a longer period of time in the hopes that as you progress it gets more interesting, however, it does not.

unlabelledView post →Toy Tinkerer, You build a toy, its a great toy. You level up, you make master toys, YOU CAN PLAY WITH MASTER TOY! GOTY2026 (warning for faint of heart, could be repetitive)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It feels like this game was made without consulting anyone who's ever actually held an old toy before, or anyone who has any idea how things come apart or go back together. More often than not, both wheels needed to be affixed to an axel before threading the axel through the body of the toy. Sob-assemblies would have to be fully assembled before joining the main body, even though this would block access to the screws required to affix the assembly. This game is also not optimised. My rig…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Provides DOZENS OF SECONDS of entertainment! As someone who's put way too much time into games like Power Wash Sim and watching toy/tool restoration videos, it's a good concept to make a game out of for someone like me... but if the gameplay consists of "click here, now click here, then click here - oh look you're done, now do it again", there's really no point, is there? Games like this are supposed to be about the care and time put into cleaning and restoring something, but here it's all…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun little game, but it requires a lot of work. The controls are really messed up. Reading through other peoples reviews, I see I'm not the only one. Not only is there no adjustment for mouse sensitivity at all, when moving around it feels so off as the axis should be reversed. Should add the function of using WASD, or just click around a menu for the workstations. It also needs adjustments for resolutions. You cannot change resolution at all, and running a 21:9 the image is cropped but the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have never played a Tinker game this boring, I got it for free and still feel ripped off. The mechanics are: press mouse button, press mouse button and move mouse 2 centimeters, press mouse button and wiggle and hold mouse button (if there's more I didn't see it I got too bored to finish the first tier of items). The graphics are fine nothing special kinda looks like a mobile game and plays as bad as one too its just a grind to get to higher levels. This might be the most uninvolved on rails…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it can be relaxing before you realize it's just nothing really to play besides clicking things in a predetermined order and doing fictive chores instead of actually doing physical useful stuff. I'm sure everyone of us have something waiting to be fixed in the house and the process would feel at least, if not more satisfying and productive. And also, yes, you can only use the mouse in this game, it gets tiring really fast.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game gets really choppy and stuttery inbetween "projects". the game itself is okay but gets really repetetive fast and the controls are wierd. the ingame music is lacking so i would recommend turning it off and use either youtube or spotify instead. alot of ingame items that you have to purchase for the most part just feels unneccessary, like 20 uses of a screwdriver or a wrench... 4/10. i can't really recommend this game,
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is boring and bland and looks like it was made in a week. The gameplay is so boring. give me back my 0.00$
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →controls feel awful and like they were made for mobile gaming. the gameplay loop is actually boring and its just a clicker can not recommend
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Steam really needs a Meh button. There is nothing wrong with this game whatsoever. It is just the most boring game of this type that I have ever played. It ran well for me. Graphics are nice. The toys are nice especially the antique ones but other then that this game is just blah for me. When you zoom into an area to work on it you can only work on one piece at a time then it zooms back out and you have to zoom back in to get to the next piece in that area. I am glad I found it for free today…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →honestly speaking, i found the game quite boring. just like some review said, we only interact with the game by clicking on icons.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →FIRST OF ALL this game is one hand game and you gonna play it with one hand. after 1 hour everything you do is repeating and after 2 hour everything is boring
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: + fun concept, could work as a shorter game + interesting until you unlock all the machines, no point in playing any longer. + nice music Cons: - really repetitive - becomes tidious really fast - starts as fun but quickly becomes boring - every actoin feels like a chore - zero creativity allowed in such a game should be a crime
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth the grind.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's no way this game is worth as much as it's selling for. I got it for free and I still hate it so much. It's just plain torture, I only went for the achievements because they're easy... but also so grindy. When I first started the game I was going to give up because the UI feels so weird and there's no good explanation on how to switch between the different workstations. When I got the hang of it the game was only fun for a little while as I was unlocking all the different categories and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring and repetitive. Makes you wanna end your life if you're going for achievements.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea is nice but the realisation is completely off the mark. The game feels boring and repetitive as ut asks you to perform the same exact tasks over and over again.
