54 of 54 · most liked firstThis is a super neat roguelike. On the surface, it's pretty straightforward with a Time Stop + Bullet Hell approach, but there's a tremendous amount of potential powers, abilities, and synergies Handy can get to alter how you approach the combat. Depending on the room (or boss), there's an almost puzzle-like presentation, and your setup can influence your strategy. For example, you can get a power that slows time (without spending it) while standing still, but causes you to take extra damage…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →honestly one of the best rouge likes ive played in quite some time. The central mechanic of the game is the ability to stop time, which is already a pretty fun and interesting take on a genre renowned for its unforgiving difficulty. what makes this game REALLY stand out, is that time is EVERY resource. It functions as your health, attack, and currency for buying upgrades. It creates such a fun and creative twist on the typical rouge like loop of buying upgrades, killing enemies to buy more…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Time Snatcher Handy is a fantastic game with some great design decisions that make it feel fresh and exciting. The artstyle and characters are lovely, and has me wondering if anyone on the team is a fan of the works of a particular cat artist I know. The music is phenomenal, often consisting of jazzy chiptunes with a swing - with bossfights being slightly different. The gameplay is unique, offering management of a single resource tied to currency, attacking, and your health: time. You can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The video game equivalent of a very well done home cooked meal. Not going to impress you with its scale or fanciness, but the chef knows exactly what they're doing, you get a hearty dinner, and you leave filling full and satisfied. Full of surprising touches, fun builds, cute art. Worth more than the 10 dollar asking price. The "deepest corner" not actually being in the corner ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me up though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First off... as a time travel enthusiast (maybe a little too much) I LOVE this game. Still, I have... some "comments", they range from the actual gameplay, to some of the rooms, to parts of the UI, to confusing wordings... You can see a RAW video of my Gameplay, in my ~3rd run-ish. https://youtu.be/6M3H0o95MHo --> This video is more for the DEV than... you... viewer... (shoooo go away!) Still, I HIGHLY recommend this game, it scratched an itch I didn't know I had. (And I yearn for more, so…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game slaps The time stop mechanic is very fun and very cool the fact that the only currency is time(and max time) is very fun cool and dynamic Most of the upgrades are fun and useful like forcing you to never double back into a room for an attack boost The codex is full of flavor text to read if you get bored or figure out what some of these weird ass robot sprites actually are 10/10 its fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been playing Time Snatcher Handy recently, a roguelike centered around a time-stop mechanic, which only uses 44 MB. It is pretty good. Going through my steam library from the lowest up, here are the others i would recommend, stopping at one GB, because most of my games are under 20 GB and i tend to be relatively selective with what games i get so i consider most of them good also: - TIS-100 (80 MB), programming puzzle game by Zachtronics - Islanders (150 MB), minimalist city builder -…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"beat" the game on my first run and so far its pretty fun you know its a good roguelike when powerful builds lag the game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its a neat thing the timestop is more satisfying and intuitive mid fights than i thought itd be
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly a must-play to all bullet hell enjoyers, absolutely love this game's mechanics and design, it's awesome
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very unique gameplay mechanics, very fun and also time kitty :3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute rougelike with a neat timestop mechanic; haven't played much yet but want to put out a positive review so close to launch just to boost it a little. Really enjoyed my first run, looking forward to playing more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Games played: AMNYAN: a game, where you catapult yourself upwards by pressing orbs with your mouse. Really liked this one. Time Snatcher Handy - A top-down rogue-lite with a time-stop mechanic that where time is your HP Homura Hime - 3D action game focused on combo and parry

If you like any bullet hell adjacent roguelikes (roguelites? have we decided on what these things are called yet) I strongly think you'd enjoy this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Omg Time Snatcher Handy is so freaking good. You literally get one of the most broken abilities ever (stopping time) but it drains your health when you use it (your health is also your time) so you really have to think before pressing that button. Every upgrade during a run also costs health so yeah you get greedy, buy too much, then die in one hit (I learned that the hard way). That's why the game feels balanced, you can become super strong but you are never fully broken because everything has…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have barely played this game for more than 30 minuets, but it is one of the best games I have bought on steam. Very good to control, (Just not with a controller,) and is SUPER addictive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven't seen the true ending yet, but I've thoroughly enjoyed this game so far! Definitely worth its small price. Plus, if $10 is too much to commit to, there's still a demo!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In my small amount of time playing this game... It's great: combat is intuitive, and so is the time mechanic surprisingly; the sprite work is varied, recognizable, and above all, adorable; and the plot as far as I've seen, holds quite some intrigue. Each run in the game lasts from about twenty minutes, if you're lucky, to forty minutes if you're stuck with a more unfortunate loadout or "costume" (this game's equivalent to a different playstyle/character) that requires more patience. And…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i NEED porn of this character
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →More games need time stop mechanics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a pretty simple yet fun roguelike, basically superhot mechinc as a top down game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just finished Dispatch, my 3rd clear of Clover Pit, and I've almost beat all the stages with all of the characters in BallXPit. Looking forward to buying Time Snatcher Handy (I beat the demo twice during NextFest) this week, and I'm still hopping on Remnant 2 at least once a week. I used to love Lumines on the PSP but Lumines Arise is just not clicking with me, which sucks. I also finally started MGS 3: Delta after sitting on it over a month. Edit: I just realized this is Patient Gamers…

(if its not bullethell then do correct me lmao) Good art, Good Music, And good gameplay :3c, Sadly very little known game but its woth the 10 dollars imo (also if it matters, game preforms well on my former gamer laptop thats now becoming a potato)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun, innovative spin on the bullet hell genre making Time Stop, which would be a broken ability in most other games of this type, the centerpiece. Had a great time with this cat burglar
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yepp...this is a banger.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely solid and robust product. game is very hard but not in an unfair way. it's comparable to katana zero except that it's a bullet hell and a roguelike. price seems fair for what it is (moderate size, highly replayable) (probably)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, harder than it looks mostly due to the risk/reward aspect of the game. Choose one bad upgrade and you are done for... but that is a staple of the genre and I wouldn't have it any other way. The main mechanic sounds like it should bust the game wide open since you can literally stop all of the bullets, but knowing when to do it is the real trick here, and it is quite fun to experiment with. The music is nice, the presentation is simple but effective, and that "just one more run"…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i've only played for an hour total at the moment though i absolutely had to write a review for this criminally underrated and extremely unique and lovely roguelike indie, it has a special blend of fast paced bullet hell style inspired gameplay with tight timing and interesting mechanics and breaks in the fast pace depending on your playstyle and upgrades you choose to take, it can be very fast paced and more instinctual or you can take a more methodical, planned and thought out approach to a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very surprising unique and fun action roguelike. There's a lot of space for creativity using the time stop mechanics, kudos to the devs!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love this little guy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very very fun Isaac like. Dev is responsive and active to fix bugs. Also, very cheap. Runs are quick and volatile, and one bad item grab can spell doom for the whole run. On the other hand, the power fantasy of getting an amazing build going is beyond wonderful.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A unique take on rougelikes. Prolly takes the most inspiration from Isaac, but it's still quite interesting with the devs getting a lot of mileage out of the time stop feature. Especially nice how it is an all in one currency in the game, time is money... but also health and your SP meter. Definitely worth a buy, or atleast a try!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cute rogulike, Ive been enjoying it a lot so far!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →such a fun game, great soundtrack and a very addicting loop. Worth the $10 and is a great way to pass time!

Skating game with insanely trippy visuals, great music, runs super smooth even on my aging PC. [FEED MY MECH](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3951760/FEED_MY_MECH_Demo/). positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game one of the best roguelikes I played I hope a new update comes out soon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun game with a fun concept. Not much more I can say...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is kind of awesome. it really is epicness. HOW DOES IT ONLY HAVE <70 REVIEWS?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Plays around the time stop mechanic very effectively, this is a fun little roguelike that offers something unique in this vast sea of roguelikes and roguelites we're swimming in. Everything falling under one main resource - time - makes it interesting to try and balance the amount of time (both current and max) you have with the upgrades (and curses!) you'll want/have to get to keep the run going. You're not gonna spend hundreds of hours on this as content-wise the game is quite small, but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a lovely, charming roguelike that I would recommend to anyone that loves these sort of games and doesn't want the hundreds of hours similar games provides but instead a reasonable amount of hours for a very cheap game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this has more game in 37 megabytes than the hundreds of gigabytes of game i had to download for discord orbs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An instant all-timer, absolutely love the moment to moment gameplay! One of the most unique roguelikes in all the right ways
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →enjoying this game so much, best time spend game on boring dnd sessions. Hope to see new updates for this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ok i know this says 24 minutes but i have way more time on the demo so yeah, anyway this is a good game go buy it lots of build variation decent difficulty and good mechanics
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very satisfying to play rougelike! The time mechanic is extremely awesome!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Time Snatcher Handy (Demo) A roguelike that isn't a deckbuilder or a vampire survivors clone? With a bullet hell focus and timestop-based mechanics? Game looks damn good
