Team up as a scrappy human or clanky robot and slip, launch, boost, fling, whatever it takes to get the hell out! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3602595052 The best thing about this game is that is completely built for co-op gaming. Every jump, every swing, every gadget is made for you and your panic powered sidekick to work together. We're yelling,…

Any time you blend UI into the game world, it will have a huge impact on immersion. 🖥️ Looking for your next co-op game? Check out Brave Escape! #IndieGame #GameDev #IndieDev #PixelArt #coopgame

(Even moreso when challenging yourselves to get all those shiny collectibles.) Packs a punch It's perfect for those wanting a proper challenge. Even better for those who simply love to push the limit of what is possible (pixel perfect style). With that said, the controls are simple enough that the game remains very accessible. Simple…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best co-op games I played and I mostly play co-op Highly recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Co-op Celeste" doesn't do this game enough justice. Fantastic level design, pixel perfect controls (and they need to be with how challenging the game can be!), and a genuine dependence on your partner to succeed - this is the best co-op platformer and more people need to know about it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My buddy and I had a blast playing through Brave Escape over the last couple months. We finally hit the credits tonight with over 2500 deaths apiece. Satisfying, precise platforming. Hats off to the devs! Now we just gotta find the rest of the secrets...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brave Escape is the perfect co-op platformer for people who want a good challenge.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🔥 10/10 – An Absolute Blast! 🔥 Brave Escape is the perfect co-op platformer, delivering intense challenges, thrilling gameplay, and non-stop laughs with friends! Every level pushes your teamwork to the limit, leading to hilarious fails, clutch saves, and that unbeatable feeling of victory. The controls are smooth, the level design is brilliant, and the visuals and soundtrack pull you into the action. ✅ Tight, responsive platforming ✅ Brilliant co-op mechanics ✅ Beautiful visuals & immersive…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have never before written a steam review, as I consider myself largely opinionated and not a person of critic when it comes to playing games. If I don't like a game, I won't continue to play it just to say I didn't like it. For me such things are not worth it. On the same coin, complementing things I like becomes hard, because I really do just like what I like. However after playing Brave Escape, which has easily become one of if not my favorite co-op game of all time, I feel as though…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic Co-op platformer, netcode is some of the best, controls feel tight and fair. The game is well worth $20, great game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: Great co-op platformer! Beefy amount of content: I'm used to indie platformers just lasting some hours in total, but this one took around 14 hours to beat, and that's with almost all secret levels untouched. Cool pixel art graphics with some very nice subtle touches with lighting and special effects Music is superb and well-implemented. No awkward restarting of music when you die, for instance, which some games do. Fun puzzles, though I wouldn't have minded if they…

unlabelledView post →This is easily one of the best challenging co-op games. Every stage feels like a brand-new game thanks to constantly evolving mechanics, Ideas and "speed-runnable" levels. The in-game emotes are so intuitive you don't necessarily need a mic, but communication is highly recommended any way you can. The gadget distribution feels like one player is doing most of the heavy lifting with a "Swiss Army Knife" set of gadgets, while the other goes through the game with just one primary item.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do you love precision platformers like Celeste and have 100%'ed that game? Do you have exactly one friend who also loves precision platformers like Celeste and has also 100%'d that game? Do you wish there were more brutally difficult precision platformers made for co-op / online co-op with unique interactions for each player? If you answered yes to all of these questions then this game is for you and your friend, you will not regret playing it.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is fantastic. Should be tried by all fans of hard platformers like Celeste and Super Meat Boy. Hopefully you've got a friend who is also a good platformer. We had an absolute blast playing this couch co-op.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I randomly found this from the coop bros on youtube and let me tell you its incredible. I have had so much fun playing this with a buddy. It's challenging, but holy crap is it amazing. I recommend anyone wanting to play with a buddy to absolutely get this game. For an indie game, this is 10/10. I haven't had so much fun in so long. I wish I could donate more so that there would be a sequel to this wonderful game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great challenge platformer, if you have a friend who's willing to die with you a few thousand times each. Similar vein to Celeste, with some platforming and optional collectibles, but both players have to help each other progress in creative ways. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy navigating spikes, deathpits, and the occasional curveball or new mechanic.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recently picked up Brave Escape as a recommendation from the YouTube channel Coop Bros. Was incredibly impressed and had a great time with it in local coop. It is a platformer with the difficulty of 1001 Spikes, which must be played in coop as each of the two characters has a unique moveset. The moves themselves per character are straightforward, and the challenge is built into the demanding level design. I can see how if you and your coop partner are "mid level" skill, you might get stuck…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Liked Bread & Fred and wished to play more ? This game got you covered, and for a while ! Every single level in this game is impressievely well designed for both casual and serious players. Be wary though, it will put your friendship to the test ! It's easy to have arguments about who did what wrong, each player having a very specific and unique role through the whole game. Planning cooperation will be needed, especially on the very hard *secret* levels 🤫 if you like platformers and wish to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A greatly enjoyable and challenging co-op precision platformer, Brave Escape might not look like the most attractive game in terms of graphics, but it heavily compensates gameplay-wise. In Brave Escape you count with 2 characters, Colin and Floyd, each one with their own abilities, which they need to cooperatively use in order to clear each level. If you are here to have fun with friends, you have all of the 7 huge areas with over 20 levels each. Now, if you are here expecting a challenge, you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Where do I begin? The vibes of this game are incredible. Somehow the developers have created a peaceful atmosphere and experience with challenging objectives. This game allows creativity to prosper and there seems to be a pleasant surprise at each corner. In an age with AAA games becoming more and more copy-paste, this is a refreshing addition to my library. I would strongly recommend this game to anyone.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Entire game is made very well from the pacing in the level design and the audio supporting each level. The art style is really nice and there's a lot of variety in the scenery and level design based on each theme of the area. The second level feels a little more unforgiving than the other levels I've played so far but this game is the perfect amount of unforgiving forcing you and you partner to be on top of every move especially during the final runs where you are being chased. Those chases…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a blast to play with your favorite partner. I don't think I've ever laughed and cried harder when playing a video game. It marries the perfect blend of challenging and fun. Some levels are difficult but never to the point you want to give up. I always have the feeling that I CAN beat the level, so giving up is never an option. The controls are fantastic and deaths are always fair. You never get mad at the game, just yourself as you tighten your grip on the controller to keep…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'll be giving away two copies of the Co-Op platforming game Brave Escape! The game will release in about one hour, and I'll play it right after it's released! All you need to do is be on stream to reclaim it! www.twitch.tv/rickfernello store.steampowered.com/app/1354260/...
unlabelledView post →Can't recommend this game enough. Insanely fun and tight co-op platformer. Levels are satisfying to clear, music is satisfying to listen to, and you'll likely have moments where you and your partner are sitting on the edge of your seats wondering if you'll make it to the end of a screen or die. The difficulty curve ramps up nicely, even offering you options between multiple stages that you can switch between if you ever want a change of scenery. It has a great level select menu so that you can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is criminally underrated. Cannot recommend enough. Very difficult but such a good feeling to finally complete it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent game and a standout for a co-op precision platformer. Would highly recommend, if you like chained together or bread and fred. Absolutely criminal there is less than 50 reviews at this time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best coop games I've played in a while. PLAY IT
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best co-op games ever This game deserves so much more attention than it has received so far - this is easily one of the best co-op games I've ever played. The store page makes it look fairly simple (showing things like boosting your partner up to a higher ledge, and them dropping a rope for you to climb), but play through the first chapter and you'll find it is anything but simple. While the move set is kept small (the robot character gets a unique move for each chapter, but the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brave Escape is an exhilarating and challenging co-op platformer that rewards teamwork, skill, and persistence. While it can be unforgiving at times, the sense of accomplishment from overcoming its toughest challenges is well worth the effort. With stunning pixel art, innovative level design, and a robust amount of content, it’s a game that will keep you and your co-op partner hooked for hours. Whether you’re a veteran platformer enthusiast or just looking for a fun game to play with a friend,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A rare find - great co-op precision platformer. Teamwork will be required, involving planning ahead of time, quickly communicating decisions in real time, and often grunting at your partner. Very nice presentation and level design. Challenging but not too difficult. Music is also great!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a difficult platformer and it's unfortunate only the robot gets new abilities. But had a lot of fun with it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm shocked more people don't know about this game and there's not more reviews. I love a good hard platformer. Even better if it requires co-op. I will say it's not easy. It is difficult, but that's what I enjoy. The timing for a lot of the stuff required in this game is super tight. So you do need two people that are both good at puzzles, and good at platforming to get through this game. Obviously I haven't completed this game just yet, but I can tell that it's going to just amp up the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an excellent, coop only, precision platfomer that will put your teamwork and coordination skills to the test. The mechanics are fun, the controls are tight and each cave biome appears to introduce new abilities to keep things interesting. Some levels have optional RAM chips to collect to adds some extra challenge, a bit like the strawberries in Celeste. The visuals are charming and I thought the music was pretty great too. The game starts out relatively easy but soon becomes quite…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I refunded this one just to write opinion and come back playing on Remote Play Together. This game is proof that it doesnt have to look good to be fun. Basically challenging, getting harder after each level and forcing both of players for very good cooperation with quite little margin of mistake
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If I died 1000 times, I will die 1000 more! I will escape. I will be brave. Insanely fun co-op platformer. I’ve played it with multiple people of various skill levels and they all had a blast! The gameplay is super solid. The soundtrack is incredible! Lots of laughter, frustration, teamwork, and joy! Some of the best gaming highs I’ve had have come from completing challenging levels in Brave Escape. Can’t recommend it enough!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very fun precision platformer with excellent music. finding out which stage elements need to be used together and then executing the movements as a team is a great time. many fun elements are used in each world which help a lot of variety. speedrunners will love the catching of fast cycles to get through levels.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the bravest game ive ever played
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is really fun. It seems to have the perfect level of difficulty. Not too easy but not so hard that you won't be able to complete it with some practice and effort. The different themed caves add a different tech that makes each one feel unique. If you and a friend like 2d platformers you should definitely check this out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best Coop games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is amazing, what a fantastic experience. We've been having such a great time. Such creative and tight level design! OMG. Need more games like this. Super challenging but super rewarding!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brave Escape is a demanding cooperative platformer that focuses entirely on teamwork, fast reflexes, and precision movement to deliver an intense multiplayer experience built around communication and synchronization. Developed and published by Hit Start Studios, the game throws two players into a dangerous world packed with traps, environmental hazards, and increasingly complex platforming challenges where survival depends on both players working together perfectly. Instead of emphasizing…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven't found a game that felt like this in a long time. Just laughing with my buddy at all the silly fails made us feel so nostalgic, fantastic game design, thank you developers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely one of the most underrated co-op games! It’s basically a cooperative version of "Celeste". Beating each stage relies heavily on teamwork, precision platforming, and perfect timing. Plus, every new themed area introduces clever new mechanics to keep things fresh. Just prepare to die 2,000+ times!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My god, this game is incredible. Who are you people? Flawless on-line co-op? 200MB download? Free friend-pass? Cross-platform play on the way? This is one of those indie games that will blow up when it hits consoles, and I'll be all like, "I liked this game BEFORE it was popular. Poser."
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the most fun games to play with someone else. Despite me and my cousin sucking at this game we find it so good. Having a friend pass option is also very nice so you don't need 2 copies. 8/10 Definitely a hidden gem
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun co-op platformer, it's in the sweet spot for difficulty where it'll take effort and practice to get through the hard ones but not so difficult that it feels impossible.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow, one of my favorite platformers I've played in some time. A coop precision platformer that really delivers with amazing level design changing the challenges from world to world and level to level. One of my favorite things is an emote that counts down 3-2-1. The amount of coop games I've played online with timing issues where I've had to verbally countdown. So useful and well done! Game gives me exactly what I'm looking for. Just jump into the game and immediately have fun. 2 different…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incredible coop game. Just the right difficulty. My friend and I are not precision platform fanatics, but we are able to beat the levels with practice. Variety of mechanics, movement, excellent understandable graphics, puzzle-like nature of figuring a level out, all top notch. Play with a friend with as much patience as you, and be prepared to laugh at how many ways you end up dying.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've really been surprised by co-op action platformer Brave Escape, an extremely tough assymetric platformer. The gameplay takes place in short stages, similar to something like Super Meat Boy or maybe Celeste, and both players must coordinate and use their unique abilities to get to the end of the stage. The gameplay, design, creativity, are really what shine here...the music is fine, the art isn't my style and the story exists only to set up 100s of stages. It's difficult, but that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely excellent. Hands down the best co-op experience I've had in any video game, full stop. Each level is an artfully crafted little platforming puzzle with the perfect difficulty - challenging but not unfair, clever but not convoluted. Every failure is either informative or hilarious or both (most often hilarious, half the joy is laughing as you accidentally launch your friend into spikes or whatever). Then you figure it out, you make a plan, you laser focus and make it through, and you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just an indie co-op masterpiece. Deserves way more attention than it has gotten. Brutally hard but fair. Highly recommend to co-op platforming fans.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Challenging but fair Co-Op platforming with a friend has never been better! There really isn't many games like this out there and even for the few that do exist, Brave Escape stands out with good level design and each world introducing new mechanics. Similar to collecting strawberries in Celeste, there is optional chips that pose a more difficult challenge to obtain but you can also just leave them behind and return for them later if you want the true completed file later on. The online…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a longer game than you probably expect. Great value for the money, lots of interesting mechanics, relies on communication between the players. I'm normally more of a puzzle gamer and not so much a platformer but this really won me over.
