negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played it with the quest 3 and the hands looked very weird like rotated in a sense. I also couldn't find a correct binding so I wasn't able to finish even the tutorial. Please fix this I'm a huge TWD fan and I really wanted to play this game after finishing both saints and sinners!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although I enjoyed my time, this was mostly because I am a huge fan of the walking dead and in particular Ricky dicky doo dah Grimes. The fact that walkers can die from body damage and sometimes take multiple headshots ruins this adaptation however. The two-handed weapons feel wonky, with not enough range even if the weapon visibly hits, it will often go through without damaging the walker. The one-handed blunt weapons suffer this problem aswell. Sadly the story leaves much to be desired,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Over hated game, story was mid but the game play and weapons were fun. Playing as the show characters was so cool and exciting for me
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game isn't bad. It really isn't. It's just when other zombie VR games do most everything better, it's hard to justify buying this. BUT I will say, if you're in the market for a VR zombie shooter/melee game AND you LOVE the Walking Dead characters AND this is on a deep sale AND you already played/beat the other zombie VR games (Saints and Sinners/Arizona Sunshine/After the Fall/SURV1V3). Give it a shot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game just makes me want an actual zombie to eat me from a regret purchase
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay I'm gonna try to be honest here, but i don't write many reviews so i'll just start. TWD: Onslaught is a good game whether you disagree or not. It takes place in the universe of it's show with the recognizable characters. It has a sort of mobile game setup where you can go out for supplies and use those to upgrade and build Alexandria. Despite that it uses this well, with it's combat, upgrade system for weapons, and story. I would say it is not worth it's $30 tag price though so i would…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →absolutely trash game. i cannot beleive how bad this is. i should have taken advice and bought saints and sinners instead. DO NOT BUY
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not my favorite VR game but it doesn't deserve the backlash it has, I don't get it. Compared to a lot of VR games in my library I've had a relatively good time with this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This title is amazing if you work out on a VR treadmill. An absolute must buy for and KatVR user. It's more of an arcade style game at times, but overall i was very satisfied with this title. Unlike the wildly more popular, Walking Dead: Saints & Sinner's series, this one doesn't focus on the open world survivor element. This is its own game with a dedicated story and the option to do supply runs in order to boost your killing ability. You can select different courses to charge through from…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very casual VR experiance. Lack of important ingame VR settings (like a show body/show hands etc calibrations). Very strange world scale. Very weak VR game, some games which are created by only 1 dev have a better quality
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Download the mod "TWD Slaughter" from Nexusmods.com to fix all the bad weapons in the base game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →makes me feel like ricky dicky doo dah grimes
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bussin ass game I love this might be my favorite vr game it’s stupid fun I mean bash in the ♥♥♥♥ out of zombies and stab em and torture ‘‘em pick this up at first I thought s&s was better but now I changed my mind please get this game please I want to make you days better
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't write many reviews but when I see a games getting unfair negative reviews It makes me more incline to it. This game is not as polished as Saints & Sinners of course, but it captures an arcade vibe and the Melee is especially fun. Yes you can't one shot Zombies right off the bat, however as you upgrade you're weapons it can get hella satisfying and easier to do that. Takes an hour or so to get used to the Mechanics (like most VR games) but been having a good time with it and I was lucky…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know what all the hate is about. Sept 22 plays fine, I own the other and like both. Either way I got them both for half price or less and don't feel bitten.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent game that isn't perfect but ain't bad either ..if you have a RV you can play it unfortunately if you don't this game can't be played ..you can enter and see things but not worthy as you will reach a point where you can't progress without RV ..but is still good to have it in your gaming collection if you love Walking Dead.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool gun sight mechanic, but movement is limited—no jumping or climbing to reach high places (basically no parkour), which was done frequently in the series. The game also randomly stops tracking the controllers. Abandoned and deceived.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a shame... As soon as I booted the game up the characters hands were all bent in pointing towards the body. In order to aim the gun in the tutorial I had to tilt my own physical hand at the ceiling in order to fire straight in the game. Difficulty in grabbing Zombies in Tutorial as well as changing weapons. I never got out of the tutorial part and I even tried a reboot with no cure. Actioned a refund on this only played for 4 minutes as thats all I could take, refund requested.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →does not work properly on meta quest 3, lots of blur, saints and sinners is a much better game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i bought it only because they promised coop but never added it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it maybe a good game i don't know as cant pick my weapon with hp reverb g2 controllers so cant do no more then the tutorial
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, It's not a bad game, it's okay, I guess, but unfortunately, it's not for my style, it feels more like playing a mobile game, the melee combat is good but not as good as TWD: Saints and Sinner, and the ammo in this game is too low, so I kept using my melee weapons more than guns, and the subtitle is in the center of my view, it's annoying 4.5/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i got the game on sale for $7 and i think it a decent game but 30 DOLLARS IS WAY TO MUCH MONEY. ONLY BUY IF IT IS ON SALE, or just don't buy this game at all.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →despite the negative reviews i enjoyed this game but i would recommend more support for index controllers
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun af, i get to go crazy with ricks colt python and daryl's storys really run to play
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Totally underrated gem, especially if you're a fan of TWD. I've had both Saints and Sinners games on my Quest 2 for sometime now and every time I've tried to play it, I could never get into it. The melee combat and gunplay in Onslaught is superior, the zombies move and look better and are far more unsettling. It's got characters you know and love. I like the the story mode with Darryl, even though you can beat the story in less than 8 hours, It's a VR game, I don't expect to be standing here…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't even finish the tutorial on a quest 3..... Controllers are not working correctly.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Damn, sadly came to this game immediately after completing some amazing VR mods and it really highlights how janky and rough TWD:O is in comparison. I feel so conflicted. The universe it there, some solid VA work is there, and I could see myself really getting lost in the mission-based scavenging etc. There's enough good to make me really miss the excellent. Controls are just too unreliable, movement is slow to the point that they overshoot zombie tension and land in painful slog, interaction…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super Fun zombie VR Game that is more fun than arizona sunshine. it being in unreal engine has it's perks of it looking amazing, dynamic shadows, the player casts a shadow + the arm movement as well! Good HD models, fun weapon play, fun ragdolls, good gun-play. (wish I could manually reload). This a type of arcadey zombie game, but it's still fun to play, it has good optimization and everything.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Over hated for no reason this game isn't as good as saints and sinners for sure, but its a great game, its fun, has comfort controls, has decent gun play, feels very arcade like (in a good way) and uses the show timeline. overall id say buy it when its on sale. its pretty good
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i mean, its a good game n all. but the melee combat is what makes me hate this game. Knives get stuck in walkers so easily and take a long time to take out of a head. also the bite mechanic is bad. I wish they did something similar to saints and sinners where you have to shake them off instead of pushing them away with your hands. Get saints and sinners. Not this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First thing, This isn't like The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. The weapon feel and everything is different, I recommend Saints & Sinners more but when this (Onslaught) is on sale (40+%) I would say to buy.. or buy a code online. The original version of the game was trash by looking at past reviews but the current build is unique and playable, some features are annoying such as waiting time for a sharp weapon to leave a walker and that weapons that use two hands require some pulling to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game cause it looked fun and it looked like a game a youtuber played. Not even 1 minute in the game it was trash because I have the quest 2 and it doesn't work with it at all and it makes my quest 2 glitchy the game is unplayable. I need it refund
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →mobile game quality
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Walking Dead Onslaught is a VR action game built around close-quarters combat, scavenging, and short mission loops set in the universe of the television series. It focuses on delivering an immersive first-person experience where players fight through zombie-infested environments while gathering resources to support the settlement of Alexandria. The structure prioritizes repeated excursions rather than a linear, story-heavy campaign. The narrative is framed by conversations between key…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this because I really enjoyed TWD Saints and Sinners and I was hoping it would be similar but unfortunately not. The controls aren't great, they are very janky and doesn't really give the player much customisation. Having to shoot walkers in the head more then once is a bit of a buzz kill. Takes too long to pull a knife from walkers heads. I'm also not a fan of being rushed through the missions, its nice for the odd mission here and there but not for the majority. I think with more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is honestly kinda bs, they tried WAY to hard to make something like s&s and it ended up being kinda ass.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just get the walking dead saints and sinners it is cheaper better and has a great story. Unlike this game with many bugs and a story that is incomplete and hard to follow with zero human interaction outside of Alexandria.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this one is better than saints and sinners, and is highly underestimated
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool gun sight mechanic, but movement is limited—no jumping or climbing to reach high places (basically no parkour), which was done frequently in the series. The game also randomly stops tracking the controllers. Abandoned and deceived.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Has a good TWD atmosphere. A bit repetitive but fun. Good value at a low sale price but not worth the full price - It is very enjoyable though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it didn't let me past the tutorial
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →HORRIBLE start. After the first mission there's no pistol and knife in the armory (no, it's just NOT there). It's a glitch in the game. The teleporting movement is SO CLUNKY and BAD. This game embodies the "rubbery arms" effect that newer games have managed to avoid (i.e. Alyx). Until i see better, massive thumbs down rating. Ten minutes into the game and i'm ready to flush it.

unlabelledView post →I thought this game was really fun I don't understand why so many people hated it. The graphics were good, the story was ok. I hope there will be a second because it can't just end like that. But I recommend this game maybe a bit too high price but I bought it for 4.99 Euro because it was on sale. :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What happened, Rick? I thought you weren't the good guy anymore. Ain't that what you said? Even right here, right now, you ain't gonna fight for 'em? I'm a better father than you, Rick. I'm better for Lori than you, man. It's 'cause I'm a better man than you, Rick. 'Cause I can be here and I'll fight for it. You come back here and you just destroy everything! You got a broken woman. Y-You got a weak boy. You ain't got the first clue on how to fix it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ths game sooo good in fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So how do I go about this I don’t dislike this game but I don’t say it’s amazing it’s mediocre I say someone things are better then saints and sinners like no stamina bar and the amc show but that’s about it saints and sinners is better in every other way and also the walkers look better on here but hey as a die hard walking dead fan I actually like this game and had a lot of fun with it get it on a sale and try it yourself but I could totally see why this game has so much hate you constantly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a decent short story that I would say is worth trying. I wouldn't buy this at full price I would wait for it to go on sale like I did. The combat it pretty good but it gets repetitive when all your doing it killing zombies and only zombies, there are no humans that you get to kill. Overall its a game worth playing but its not going to be the best game your ganna play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the wrong Walking dead VR game get the other one!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Jesus what a piece of ♥♥♥♥ this game is it's actually insane. I felt like I was playing ride to hell: retribution but in VR. The Walking Dead Onslaught - highlights: - One of the most (if not the most) awful, uninspiring and unimmersive gunplay ever seen in a VR game (makes games such as AZ Sunshine and KF Incursion look like triple A gun simulators). Press a button to empty the magazine, hover you hand to an icon by your hip, hover your hand back to the gun - voilá. - Horrible movement…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It could be good, but it feels catastrophically bad. I don't know why, but no matter what settings I try, the game's visuals look smudgy and distorted. My PC isn't weak, and my Quest 3 isn't the issue either, so I really don't know what's causing it. At this point, I don't know what to blame.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, I came into this game hearing about how bad it was, especially compared to TWD Saints and Sinners, yet I found the game honestly super fun. It's not your typical open-world zombie VR game, it'd linear semi open I guess? I'm not too sure but the game is super fun, I haven't tried any mods, just straight vanilla and I'm honestly having such a good time, the base building and what-not kinda reminds me of State of Decay 2 and I honestly just think its a fun game, there are some quirks…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, I got it because it was on sale but its not worth the full price, however it is worth on sale as it is similar to the saints and sinners now that game is worth more
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10 hrs on record (100% completion) More of an arcade take on The Walking Dead. The story’s the highlight, with TV show characters carrying the experience, but missions are short and linear. I used the hammer because I’d seen it was the best tool, and it really is. Despite the simplicity, treating it as a quick VR apocalypse run rather than a deep survival sim makes it enjoyable enough. TL;DR: Shallow but fun. A short, story-driven VR spin that’s worth a one-time play. (6/10)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I dont know why the reviews are so mixed because I love this! It is so fun to play for hours shooting, hacking, stabbing, and punching zombies.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love The Walking Dead franchise, but this game is so bad that even a big fan like me can't enjoy it. The biggest problems, in my opinion, are the optimisation, controls, and movement — they feel like they weren’t designed for VR. There are some nice ideas, and scavenging could be fun, but with these controls, it’s almost impossible to enjoy. Try it if you see it at 85% off or more — it’s not worth paying more than that.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good game just don't have ♥♥♥♥ PC and it runs good
