India Jones and the Great Circle was a good start, and I'm considering Sniper Elite VR for the highly detailed nazi carnage. Wondering what other nazi-killing favorites are out there.
unlabelledView post →I'd love to love this game...but as a left-hander who is naturally left-eye dominant...it's unplayable. The gun only shoots stright with the right-eye. Obviusly glaring oversight for a game about people shooting.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fine in general, but it requires you to collect stars by completing certain criterias in each mission to be able to progress in the story, which is a huge no-no for me
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →was a treat to find this for cheap in 2025 (~5$). graphics honestly about on par with your average 2025 game (sad) but while its a little clunky and definitely a cut down version of the proper sniper elite game (linear vs wide open map) the game play is good and the challenge and nature of vr controls adds alot to the game. Campaign is quite lengthy which is nice. Would recommend when on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has reasons to have such reviews. I've put together this little compilation of the most widespread and personal complaints about the game in one place. The list will go from the most to the least critical issues: Maps, Movement/Comfort, Local AI, Firearms handling, Cosmetics and Achievements. Map variety: There are 19 levels in total, but with one huge caveat: the majority of levels are reused throughout the game, with changed gameplay focus. For example, one level in this game got…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lot of bugs. Poor ballistics. Enemies can see you and kill you through the walls. Everything is blurry after 50-70m at max settings.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've already got a pretty large library, so I'll give some recommendations (mostly older as haven't had much time of late). All PCVR as I prefer buying on Steam: - Synthriders - rhythm game like beat saber but more dance focused - Dirt Rally 2.0 - not sure what the status of sim racing on Linux (and the Frame currently) but a great experience if you're at all into racing - Automobilista 2 - similar quality but track instead of rally-focused - Doom 3 Fully Possessed Mod - Doom 3 mod. I…

This VR version is fun to play and I have enjoyed it but I cannot understand why I cannot just have a VR version of my flatscreen Sniper Elite games with the depth and detail that they have. I am sure some guy in his bedroom could make a VR mod but a AAA developer cannot. Why?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun. I don't quite get all the hate other reviews are giving it. This is also quite a meaty game compared to many other VR games for the same price that can be completed in 2-3 hours. The shooting mechanics are what you'd expect from a Sniper Elite game, but in VR. Yes, some sniper rifles, specifically the DeLisle Carbine, which is only unlocked by the end of the game, has the magazine, the bolt and the grip very close to each other, but even then, it's perfectly playable. The "X-Ray"…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kept crashing on chapter 2. Reached out for support from dev A YEAR AGO without any respond.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While game can be fun aiming, shooting, reloading basically all essential actions are clunky AF. You also move extremely slowly. IRL you use rifle stock against your shoulder to stabilize the gun, VR games compensate shaking of your hands since you are not holding anything and your hands wobble quite a bit. Not this game. Also not being able to adjust where you want to grip the gun is annoying and you will find yourself fighting your scope more than enemies. Also to unlock levels you have to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wouldn't pay more then $5 for this game. I love the series, but there is just so much that is broken here. Reloading is extremely difficult at times. I think you'll need a brace for both controllers to really even play this. Has some performance issues. Story seems ok, for what I got through it. Need direction on the screen. If they give you options to do other things those should be listed, hard to hear them the first time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Works as intended. Shooting Nazi's in VR.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the best £3.75 I've spent. Enjoying this VR experience very much. Love the gun sounds and the graphics look really good. The only thing I keep having trouble with is the game doesn't start either with steam as openxr or opening the game from VD.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After a 7-8ish h story, i can say I only enjoyed one mission. A mission that actually made it feel like a Sniper Elite game. I am so dissappinted in this game. On top of the most infuriating aspect of the game which I will go to soon, the game is suffering from a clear lack of Game Design skills. Even to the basic structure of progress. There comes a progress stop where it requires you to go back and complete additional (which slways were seemingly optional) objectives to collect stars to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can see why people don't like the game, but I'd say it's great if you want a fun sniping vr game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am a big fan of the sniper elite and was excited when I saw a vr version of the games existed. And so I bought this game on sale and was excited to see how it translated to VR. IT'S FINE. While I did enjoy the time I put into it this game made me realize something about sniper elite. I prefer the series for it's stealth gameplay with sniping sprinkled in-between. From the first couple of missions it feels like you are mostly defending a point from being taken over. I did enjoy this but it got…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got it on the current sale at $4.49 and it's great. I'm 5 missions in and taking a break to tell you to get it on the sale. Installation did not install a separate denuvo executable (as happens with some online games), so I found denuvo to be transparent and unobtrusive. The game is a brilliant VR adaptation of the flat Sniper Elite series. The weapon handling is great with vive wands. There's so many settings and options (3 difficulty options including different options for ballistic…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love Sniper Elite, every installment. But this VR version? It runs terribly. I wanted to love it!!! But controls are clunky and the shooting is terrible. I'm better off sniping bots in Onward. I wanted to enjoy the story mode but controls are too horrible.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After playing through the entire campaign I am really surprised by the mixed reviews. I agree there are some issues with the game such as limited interactivity, graphics could be better, but overall, I really enjoyed the game. With many of today's vr games only offering 2,3,4 hours of solid gameplay, this game offers much more. I don't think I would wholeheartedly recommend at full price but on sale for 30%+ seems like a no brainer. I picked up on sale for 11.99 and it feels like a steal…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →How to make an average and unremarkable game a total disaster? Just lock the campaign mission behind stupid achievment system, so the people will have to revisit missions with more challenging requirments to feel even more how badly VR title the game is. Why would you want the players to concentrate on the fact even more? Could have been an ok game if not for that. Just look at the feedback guys, you didnt make this game good enough to force people to play more.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In my personal opinion, ignore the negative reviews. This is a 30$ sniper elite in vr. It is obviously fun. I saw people saying the game felt clunky but I didn't get that feeling. I feel like for what you get, it is well worth the 30 as you get to blow the testicles off of nazis in virtual reality. What other game can give you that satisfaction in vr
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My second completed VR game. Played on pico 4. It was just great
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just got it on sale for 4.30€ ... Absolutely worth that. Graphics are a bit weak, but it runs very well at least. Weapon handling is very good!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can’t stand it. The controls are clunky, and grabbing objects isn’t responsive. Handling a gun feels terrible. it’s like the controls are fighting against me. I can’t rely on muscle memory to reload, grab items, holster my gun, or do anything smoothly. The graphics are good for a VR game, but the level design feels like a longer tech demo rather than a full experience.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On sale, this title is absolutely worth. Plenty of missions with varied combat and challenges, achievements for completionists and difficulties for comfort levels. quite a nice amount of VR comfort settings dialed in turn this into a pretty top tier game in my opinion. Samotná střelba zde je OK, ale když se jako hráč pohybujete obraz není plynulý , trhá se a zasekává většinou to nejde vidět na videu ale v samotné situaci ( hře ) Vývojáři by to měli nějak optimalizovat pro Oculus Quest 3 VR Eng: LIKE I SAID IT WANT FIX AND GOOD OPTIMALIZATION DEVELOPERS NEED FIX IT FOR QUEST 3 HEADSET THANK YOU! negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The poor weapon handling and controls make this game almost unplayable. I thought it would be fun with a gunstock but turns out it's almost impossible because it makes no sense how the rifle is aligned, no matter what options you choose from the menu.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I honestly don't get why people are giving this game bad reviews, i think it's awesome! Most of the issues people are listing i never experienced in my full playthrough.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible VR port. Move 2 feet from the center of your play space the video changes to out of bounds but you continue to take fire. Squat behind a crate or box and risk that registering as out of bounds too. Devs state this is intended not by accident and refuse to fix Sad they wont fix.... this would be one of the best VR FPS games out there..... IF they would fix that one problem.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its definitely the Sniper Elite experience in VR. I wasnt able to play this until I got a gun stock. The aiming just didnt feel comfortable. Now with the gun stock its playing awesome. Enjoying it a lot. Would recommend but only if youre willing to get a gun stock. 8 of 10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Visuals and mechanics is not the best (not even for vr). It is not even the general Sniper Elite game, mostly one way forward (instead of the somewhat open world) missions and not much you can choose to do. It is obvious where to go and the story isn't that fun either. I wouldn't recommend it myself, but this is mainly because I played the normal franchise (Sniper elite 3-5). If you really want it than I would recommend waiting for a good sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is janky! The interactions are clumsy and unfriendly. But when you hit a fascist right in the middle of his f*cking teeth, the pleasure is indescribable. I had fun playing it, I recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was sadly disappointing. The 7 or 8 maps that I played are tiny and can be completed in 10 - 11 minutes. The gun handling mechanics are poor to explain best I can. Despite not moving my left hand it somehow ends up being closer to my face after Bullet / Kill Cams. I had to turn this feature off which is a shame as it is a staple of the franchise. Doing this improved the issue but even with it off you can move your right hand and in turn it would move the left hand when your gripping the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first time I played the game, I found myself feeling a bit bored. To shake off the lethargy, I decided to drink some pre-workout. As I navigated the game, the pre-workout started to kick in right around the time I was handed the sniper rifle. Suddenly, my energy levels surged and my focus sharpened. With this newfound intensity, I began to pick off enemies with remarkable precision, taking out ten opponents in a matter of seconds. The adrenaline rush from this rapid succession of kills was…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It isn't what you want it to be, like so many other concepts that could be incredible for VR. I don't think there's any amount of detail I could dive into to give you a better idea of how the game feels than that.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really want to like this game, but the weapons are constantly acting strangely. Not really playable at higher levels. Very disappointed. I guess it's not likely to be fixed at this point. Sad really.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's alright, i guess? plays almost nothing like a sniper elite game (aside from the sniping), has INCREDIBLY clunky controls (especially on the index controllers), has sloppy movement, looks like a unity game (because it is, instead of SE's engine), is played entirely through flashback sequences with rampant voiceover. It's an alright game, but not one I'd consider worth what i paid for it a few years ago. $5 is a far better price for it (but even then I'd have a hard time bringing myself to…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sniper Elite VR, developed by Just Add Water (Developments), Ltd. and published by Rebellion, brings the acclaimed Sniper Elite series into the realm of virtual reality. Released on July 8, 2021, the game offers players an immersive World War II experience, allowing them to step into the shoes of an Italian partisan fighting against fascist forces. The transition to VR aims to enhance the series' signature sniping mechanics, providing a more tactile and engaging experience. The game's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even though this is a four-year-old game, it still outshines this year's Zombie Army VR in nearly every way. Everything about sniping just feels right — being able to actually aim through the scope with your full field of view intact, instead of having the screen blacked out around a floating scope, is incredibly immersive and satisfying. The level scales are not as big as those in the flat-screen Sniper Elite series, but it still delivers that classic feel. The overall campaign length was…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its not a bad game, its just not worth the money when for the same price or less you can get a better vr sniping or gunsim game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is mixed bag for me. I bought this at 60% and would not recommend it at full price. It started off promising but 2 hours in and I'm finding it average. The missions are short, as short as 12 minutes in some cases and the maps are small. In one mission I walked no further than 25 metres and sometimes you're positioned on a crane or tower somewhere, so hardly move at all. It does feel like a glorified shooting range and not an actual inhabited place. I understand the maps can't be as huge as…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty good. perhaps rough around the edges sometimes but i had fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game starts off a bit weird with more action combat than I expected. But if you persist then you are rewarded with more tactical, covert sniper stages. These are simply great
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Games is not bad but the weapon handling is just trash.

unlabelledView post →A 10$ game, so lazy, its a Quest 2 port, without ANY optimization for PC at all, also half of the 30min i played was the old dude talking, so annoying i cant skip. every mission is just a room that you shoot from, definetly not the Sniper Elite VR game i wanted.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Good - Overall visuals are good considering the time it was released. They still hold up in mid-2026 for a VR game The Neutral - X-Ray Cam is always at a very weird angle for me. Its cool when I'm at an angle that lets me see what is actually happening. The Bad - Controls are janky - The level and mission design feel like a regression to early 2000s FPS quality - Bullets will pass thru enemies without actually hitting them - Controls will come disconnected from in game interactions…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very immersive until the controllers lose tracking which happens quite a bit. not sure if that's the games fault though
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey so since for some reason there's a lot of discussion about violence lately and not as much discussion about censorship I figured, why not both and make it about hypocrisy while I'm at it? Let's take a look at Sniper Elite VR, a game that is still available on Steam while adult games get banned:
unlabelledView post →It's a very specific experience. But I was enjoying it more than I was expecting. It's probably the best of it's kind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's similar to an amazing "Medal of Honor VR", but way less polished, less guns, less content, and much harder to control. NOTE: some of the first few missions are quite hard, and it's easy to get discouraged and quit (don't do it, because it gets better!). Overall I liked the game, definitely worth to play if you have a VR.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sniper Elite VR is supposed to be designed for Sniping in VR but it's not, It's bad because when I tried to hit my targets far away with a sniper, the bullet did not hit the target, I had to try many times to successfully hit the target, Into The Radius is a lot better and easier to use the sniper for far targets, and the graphics in Sniper Elite VR is not very good and I didn't play it much but I think the story is good, I guess 4/10
