unlabelledView post →I opened the Netflix app just to check if The Old Guard 2 was up in Portugal (it is!), then I opened Instagram and it immediately gave me a clip of a Charlize Theron interview talking about her hair in the movie. Like... JESUS. They could at least be more discreet about the shared info.

Namaste! ‘…A sacrifice of great talents on the altar of a bland idea, The Old Guards 2 never finds any groove of its own and with an abstract, nonvisual concept to convey, runs dry pretty fast…’ film-authority.com/2025/07/07/t...

unlabelledView post →The Old Guard (2020) was forgettable but it at least understood the genre enough to know that an ACTION movie should have ACTION in it. The Old Guard 2 (2025) spends 80% of its time watching its characters morosely reminisce about stuff from the first movie that you already forgot.

unlabelledView post →“The Old Guard 2” feels like a Psyop to get people to re-watch “The Old Guard”— a movie that only exists as it’s playing in front of you.
unlabelledView post →Just realizing we really did get through the entire year without Netflix giving any release info for The Old Guard 2, a movie that wrapped production in August 2022. Apparently they did reshoots just two months ago though! That’s a long enough break to hope everyone’s appearance matches okay.

unlabelledView post →Because they left me on a goddamn unexpected cliffhanger and I'm not convinced we'll get a third movie now... (Yes I am still bitter about The Old Guard 2. I'm tired of putting time and energy into things and being told "Eh, we're just leaving it there.")

unlabelledView post →Pardon me but what the fuck does this have to do with the movie The Old Guard 2? Are you a bot glitching?
unlabelledView post →I might have felt differently about The Old Guard 2 if they had released it in theaters, but it is a very dull at-home watch. It's just such a lifeless movie.
unlabelledView post →I just watched ‘The Old Guard 2’ and can nothing ever have a fucking ending!? I can’t get a season of a tv show with an ending and now I can’t get a movie with an ending!? Have we lost the ability to tell a complete story while setting things up for more? WTF!?
unlabelledView post →idk what mine is, I'll have to think about it. I will say that The Old Guard 2 is the only movie in a very long time that I've just turned off halfway through though
unlabelledView post →The Old Guard 2 I’m forgot this movie as I watched it. It’s so generically bland. The director gets the coldest wooden performances out of a very good cast. I liked the first one and it’s on my rewatchable bollocks list. This one though is bad.
unlabelledView post →also we are having movie night again and watching the Old Guard and then the Old Guard 2.
unlabelledView post →I'm watching, The Old Guard 2 - 2025 This movie is so bad, I don't even know where to start. Not just boring; but, insipid bad. It tries so hard to be both relevant and edgy; but, fails harshly. Much sadness. That is my review. 4 of 10 www.imdb.com/title/tt1496...

unlabelledView post →So finally got The Old Guard 2 watched. All I'll say is Netflix better god damn greenlight a third movie!
unlabelledView post →I'm actually laying here kind of pissed off at how shitty the ending of The Old Guard 2 was. Offensively bad. Knowing Netflix, there won't be a third film, or it'll come out in 2031.

unlabelledView post →THE OLD GUARD 2 (2025): Really dug the first when it came out, this is disappointingly mid. It feels like there’s 20 minutes of movie missing and whatever happened here came after was less on the cast and crew on more on the upper level.

unlabelledView post →The Old Guard 2. Swing and a miss. Incredibly dull film with very little coherency.

unlabelledView post →#MovieChallenge 2025 week 27: The Old Guard 2 (2025) I really enjoyed the first film, but was disappointed by the missed opportunity of the follow-up. It lacked the humour and playfulness of the original, and the concept and character dynamics felt less compelling this time around. Shame. 2.5/5
