Low resolution, even on Epic settings, poor train and track sounds, stutters galore, and guess what, the release version crashes (for some, not all), with the Unreal Crash Report window opening the moment you set the options to English so that you can at least understand the options on the main U.I. EDIT: Even after the "Mega Update" performance is still only tolerable but far from perfect and this despite very high GPU usage and temperatures. Something is still wrong with this game. They've rewritten over 70% of the code from scratch, and it has really paid off - this is now an excellent simulator. The trains, stations, and signs all appear to be very well modelled and accurately detailed. My only real complaint is that there doesn't feel like there's enough happening in the world. Every train is on time and nothing ever delays you. Would be neat to see the modelled train systems play more of a role with breakdowns, and other random events. Still, excited to see where Simuverse goes with this and Subway Sim 2.

There is no tutorials so you do not have a clue how to play the game. Graphics settings are very basic so you are stuck with nasty looking bloom and motion blur. If you want a better experience, purchase the Train Simulator Classic U-Bahn Hamburg U1 add-on. The experience is a million times better.

Als "Hamburger Jung'" wollte ich immer schonmal U-Bahn fahren und heute hat man endlich die Möglichkeit dazu (in der 90ern gab es so einen Sim nicht). Die Grafik ist ganz gut, der Wiedererkennungswert ist da, Die Details stimmen aber nicht. Aber das kann man auch nicht verlangen, dass da eine ganze Stadt 1:1 nachgebildet wird. Für mich reicht es. Alles in allem eine gute Sache!

This is coming from someone who has played many train sims over the years. It really is a shame of how this came out. I tried giving it a chance. Kudos to the developers for continuing to improve it. If you tried it before and weren't impressed, give it another go, the graphics, performance, playability, sounds have all been greatly improved. Using this with a flightsim throttle controller is a great experience.
