If you're looking for a fun, challenging co-op game, look no further. Stikbold can be played with a friend to go for achievements and story mode, or played solo in its story/quick/custom match for lots of fun. I recommend playing with a controller! This game is in the same vein as Rocket League: you watch a few videos and you can see it is fun, but you just don't 'feel'…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun enough as a silly little comedic action game on your own, but it really comes alive as a party game with friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The story of the game is quite hilarious but such fun. The character design, their movements, the voices, are very unique and crazy. The game is based on the real game 'dodgeball', so, each level is quite crazy fast. You can't let your guard down. If you are eliminated from the field, you keep playing from the sidelines. Each map is different and there are many different characters. It's super colorful and a lot of fun to play with other people. It has story mode, quick match and of course…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stikbold! is funny and charming at first, but I got bored with it really quickly. I couldn't even make it through the entire campaign... It's just so repetitive. If you want something fun and forgettable to play against a friend, you can do worse than Stikbold!, but you can also do so much better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Through the fire and flames with Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure 2007 was an earnest, blissfully ignorant year. As the US economy was gearing up for an epic real-estate crash J.K. Rowling was wrapping up Harry Potter, the first iPhone was announced, and the internet collectively turned its attention towards one thing: demonstrating inarguably, with so many blurry off-screen videos and well-worn plastic guitars, that they could indeed finish Guitar Hero 3’s (2007) unofficial anthem,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sweet and cheerful The game is decent, its visuals are very colorful and at the same time very clear, and the gameplay itself is very skillful rather than random and haphazard, as is often the case in this type of strange games, to top it all off the game offers a variety of boards, where each has different difficulties. In local co-op it really gives a lot of fun and makes you want to play more and longer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just got a Steam Deck and will be using it as a console with my wife & kids - in that light I've bought a lot of smaller co-op and local multiplayer games: * Stick Fight: The Game * Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure * Moving Out * Broforce * Cook, Serve, Delicious * Portal 2 * Rubber Bandits * HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED * Horizon Chase Turbo * Ultimate Chicken Horse * Human Fall Flat * CarX Drift Racing Online * Nidhogg * Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed Collection We'll see what else…
unlabelledView post →Very good and funny game as a local co-op. Has received some new content after release, which is always nice. Gameplay is easy to learn but gets pretty challenging on higher difficulties. Might be a bit short on content as a single player experience, but this game is clearly intended to be played with several players, and is most fun with 4 players due to most game modes having been designed to work with group of 4. Excellent party game with humor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+story +multiplayer -cant play online +attack people with things when you die in multiplayer +revive teammates with the power of high five's!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was excited to play this with my friend but then found out it doesn't have online co-op, only local. So I had to refund. What multiplayer game doesn't have online co-op these days? -_-
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This would probably be fun for a while with a competent friend, but the AI frustratingly gets killed or gets you killed over and over and the gameplay is too repetitive for me to want to finish this. If you have a local co-op buddy, maybe it's better. Your mileage may vary.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I rarely post reviews but I feel I need to for this game, I am big into local co-op games with my friends and this delivers. The fact that you get to try and mess with other players after you die ensures that even if you are losing every game you can still have fun. Throwing sausages, dropping whales and pushing people off oil rigs has never been so fun. All I would say is please Devs more maps and characters!! Even in the form of DLC would be fine with me!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow, a game about dodgeball!? Shhyeah! Ironically at the time I got into this game the dodgeball movie is playing on cable TV multiple times per day. Thankfully Stikbold! doesn't take itself too seriously either and is filled with plenty of humour. Story mode is short but sweet and can be played with a friend in Local co-op or remote-play. Both work great. There are only 12 levels but each one has 3 challenges to complete that will award you with a steam achievement once all 3 are obtained.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I could cheekily call this the greatest dodgeball game ever made, but that would be selling Stikbold short; it’s not just a fun arcadey, sports-inspired title, it’s also wholly distinct, different from both traditional sports games and the co-op action games that seem to be its chief inspiration. In short, Stikbold casts you as two lazy Swedish dodgeball players, whose core skills are atrophying through a lack of practice. Shortly after the tutorial, their rivals get captured, and being…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a lot of potential, but it has a big problem, there is an ability that lets you puch people and steal the ball, and with that ability every one bum rushes the person with the ball and dodges into him then all 4 people continually punch eachother around because it is easier than throwing the ball and somemaps it will kill you. At the end, an overpowered ability makes this game unplayable for vs mode, and i have no interest in coop

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Local Multiplayer At Its Best Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure has everything one could ask for in a local multiplayer game. It features a fun and challenging story mode, amazing core gameplay, and a highly customizable quick play mode that will allow for you to create any type of game you could want. Even if you don't have friends to play with, the story mode was more than worth the $10 asking price, and was an absolute joy to 100%. The only thing that could make the game better is online…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stikbold is a fun dodgeball game full of wacky characters and over-the-top stages and gameplay. You, of course, throw a dodgeball around, but there are a bunch of mechanics that make things unique like manipulating the direction of your throw, power throws, stealing the ball, and various traps and events that pop up in each stage. don't be surprised to see a car driving through the ring or a whale plop down on top of you during a match. The single (or co-op) story mode is entertaining, with a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stikbold! is a "sports" game with weird minecraft style low poly graphics. Developers must learn that Minecraft succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. A lot of indie developers see Minecraft's success and assume it's because it looks bad, not because it had unique and appealing game mechanics, and they try to emulate the success without understanding it. That's why reviewers are faced with so many of these terrible games with confrontingly bad graphics. I tried to play it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL:DR The movie Dodgeball meets a pound of weed. The Good Stuff +A fun and hilarious party game for up to 4 people in co-op or simply by yourself against bots +Story mode that takes roughly an hour and a half but is filled with silly and quirky dialogue and some interesting twists to gameplay +Achievements in game for every level plus the steam achievements for all those hunters out there +Great throwback disco soundtrack plus the 70s style setting and characters, makes it look like every…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! Great dodgeball gameplay, fun characters, and a quirky story. Tons of fun with friends!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stikbold! After playing for a few hours I can say that this is the type of game that I love keeping installed all the time. People complain that it's missing online multiplayer, which it does...but considering I can't convince more than two friends to play the same game online at once, I absolutely adore the story and local multiplayer options. If you grew up holding Super Dodge Ball up as THE game to play for Dodgeball action, this game has the same fun feel in spades and TONS of…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like playing with balls
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story that as ever been written or will be 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game, solid controls, better with friends, just wished there was the ability to customize characters, and maybe an update in the future for more maps? :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gather a few friends and play in teams of 2 and let the good times roll :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A highly recommended couch co-op game. The 2-player campaign is fairly good but this game really stood out for me in the 4-player arena.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →4 controllers + 4 players + this game = fun times.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is fun! Both as a gameplay and humorous story. Nice recreation of 60's-70's sport spirit. Hippies are great! If you are looking for cozy local Co-Op with a friend, stop wasting your time and grab this gem! Though solo is also tons of fun! If you are from Denmark, this game should be mandatory to play
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You sit yourself and your friend//mom/dad/anyone capable of holding a controller on the couch and pretend it's the glory days of the ps1 when 3d was blocky, devs were willing to take risks, multiplayer was local and you actually had fun, because this sure as hell feels just like that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I purchased this with a handful of local co-op games to play with my daughter and it turned out to be the most spectacular of the bunch. The action is simple enough for my kid but deep enough for me, and the story mode is absolutely hilarious. For an arcade version of dodge-ball, the controls are spot-on. You can leap for balls, lunge at your opponent for a steal, and run one direction while hurling a shot in another. The response and flexibility of the small number of controls makes this…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decently fun multiplayer game. I'm not really sure how fun this would be with just 1 player though. It can be a hoot with 4 player, but doesn't have a whole lot to offer. If you desperate for a multiplayer game then pick this one up. If you're not desperate, then you can probably find something better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like Stikbold, but I probably won't be playing it for a while. I have a GTX 1080ti & this game taxes the crap out of it. Supposedly this will run on my old 760. I'll probably let this game beat the crap out of that card & spare my $700 card of this unnecessary strain.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Say what you like about Stickbold! I keep coming back to play it with my friends and when they come around they ask to play it again. Great local multiplayer fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got to say, most awesome game in a long time. Only one thing missing, online multiplayer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been on a spree to buy local co-op games because friends come over quite often and this happened to be one of them. Needless to say it was an amazing purchase. I bought it for the retail price. Right when you hop into a quick match it's just super fun, you dive, dodge, and catch balls that are thrown at you, while also attempting to get the opponents out. My friends and I did free-for-all and team play and both were just as good as the last. Pros -Team Play/Free-For-All -Story mode…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice little game here. The story brought a few laughs and the gameplay was straight forward. Would probably be more fun with friends, as I have none. I recommend buying on a discount.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't know what to expect when I launched Stikbold. A friend and I were looking for a fun co-op game to play locally, I saw that Stikbold had co-op, and the rest is history. What we found in Stikbold was a nice looking game in terms of artistry, and an entertaining way to spend an afternoon. That said, we breesed through the story mode fairly quickly, but there are cool things that add some replayability, like the flower/challenges in each level, and (probably primary) versus mode, where…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stikbold is a colourful, groovy co-op game reminiscent of Dodgeball that takes place in a variety of fun and interesting battlegrounds. You and a player/CPU battle it out against a range of different opponents, with a bunch of fun modes and funky music to boot. However, I can't help but say that the sometimes-useless AI teammates can really make it a frustrating experience if you're playing solo. Playing with friends is great however, and the AI is usually fine, when outside of boss battles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting, but not captivating. 4/8
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible single player experience.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually played this one a ton elsewhere. One of my favorite party games for a casual and quick romp. If you're looking for a goofy party game to keep installed that is also enjoyable solo, this is the one!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Starts out okay, not great, but barely decent. Quickly devolves from there into repetitive boredom. There are a seemingly infinite amount of games that offer better fun for value. Save your precious time for a game more worthy of it. Me? I'm removing this from my account.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why can’t we play with 6 local players on PC? Right now it only lets you play with 4 real players plus 2 AI bots, but the Switch version already supports 6-player local multiplayer. There’s no reason PC shouldn’t have the same feature. Please add a proper 6-player local mode — it would make this game absolutely amazing! …
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I found it to be on par with games like gang beasts and stick fight: the game, but it might not hold up as well with your group as it has a less broad audience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Started playing dodgeball. Ended up fighting hippies, a whale, the devil, and my best friend. Didn’t know dodgeball could cause this much emotional damage — or this much joy. A short and sweet experience for solo or group play sessions. Plenty of enjoyment and manageable achievements.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Story is very short but pretty darn fun. Gameplay is very replayable with a decent amount of levels for something of this size which is not alot but enough. My only gripe that I nearly put a negative review on this for is that your AI partner in story mode or multiplayer will randomly target and hit you. This happened in story multiple times even when there weren't any enemies present costing me the level. Definitely intentional. We are in the year 2025 and we still have great enemy AI and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hurl the sphere! This game makes me feel like dodge ball has got to be one of the only sports that is actually "missing" from the Olympics. Its great on the Steam Deck with the 360 degree joystick movement and aim. It's awesome on split screen and controllers with your homie.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recreate childhood trauma in a bright, colorful, fun video game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Perfect for couch gaming. I've played this with my family and parents (who don't play video games often) and they were able to grasp the concept and game play and have a great time. This game is worth it at the $9.99 price but the $2.49 price right now during Winter sale 2023, it's an even better purchase. I would highly recommend purchasing this game if you are doing any type of in-person gaming with friends. The single player is decent enough, but this game really shines while playing with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely adorable game. Seriously, even though I have only played the first level I give it at least a 9/10! They really managed to capture the essence of the sport in this one. Awesome multiplayer, yet even solo you can have fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →players, competing in a variety of crazy arenas and game modes. The gameplay is fast-paced and intense, with a variety of moves and abilities at your disposal as you try to outmaneuver your opponents and take them down with well-placed throws. The arenas are colorful and creative, with a variety of hazards and interactive elements to keep things interesting. But what really sets Stikbold! apart is its sense of humor. The game is full of absurd characters and silly situations, and it's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An epic little gem featuring very responsible and simple controls, fast-paced fun pvp, destructive environment and comedy art, love it! 11/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is super fun with friends
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Score – 9/10 (Heaps of Fun) Stikbold receives a very high score from me since it's really difficult to find any faults with the game besides the campaign maybe being too short for some. Otherwise, the game fills its niche extremely well: it's a silly, colourful, local multiplayer dodgeball game that up to four players can have a hilariously good time with. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great game to have tucked away in your library ready for when some friends come round for a drinking session. It takes no time at all to download, so if you ever find yourself wishing you had a good local coop party game for some quick and easy laughs, this is the one.
