Each Act (there's 3 Acts) alternates between Margret Dale at the Academy, & Gail Pilgrim in Space. The Writing is Great & the Characters Development has made me a Big Fan of Margret Dale. Considering how Cheap these Games are to Buy, you will Definitely get your Moneys worth. NOTE: For some Stupid Reason the Steam Algorithm doesn't recognise this as…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Space Pilgrim is like a blanket and mug of chocolate on a winter day. It's such a well-built world. All the characters in it feel like real people who you get to know better and care more about each episode. In episode 3, Maggie is starting to come into her own as a young adult. She's still a precocious little ♥♥♥♥, but she's also an orphan who is slowly realizing her childhood might have been more troubling than she remembered it... You can kind of give her a pass. The puzzles are simple this…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →RPG Maker strikes again! Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 3 is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. As often happens with this RPG…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Year 3 is slightly different from the first two episodes: it has a stronger emphasis on the puzzles, the academy classes take a back seat to other events, and the writing is distinctly funnier. None of which is a bad thing. As always in SP and SPA, there will be a couple of nice twists on the standard take item/use item formula. It's impressive how strong the writing is. The story touches on political events, evolving relationships, school life, provides comedic relief, and handles every…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As always the Space Pilgrim series never fails to surprise me. I love the gameplay, the characters, and story so much I swear I'm gonna have to animate some of my favorite scenes from the games series. Year 3 really had me screeching and hollering on the Final Act...T H E F I N A L A C T, so much sht went down and I think I need some time to process what just happened. But, nonetheless the game (as always) is absolutely amazing!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR 10/10: The beginning is the most epic beginning to any game in the Space Pilgrim Saga, the trip to the museum is a lot of fun, and the cliffhangers are really suspenseful. Overview In case the reader hasn't played the first six games of the Space Pilgrim Saga, Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 3 is a sci-fi adventure game continuing from the rest of the Space Pilgrim Academy series where the game splits time between the adventures of Ambassador Gail Pilgrim and academy life with adopted…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a well-written game with great characters and atmosphere. It really sucks you in. The story progresses, there's interesting plot twists, i am really looking forward to the next part. If you consider the low price and the hours of entertainment you get from this game, it is worth every penny.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game, interesting puzzles. well worth playing!

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Space Pilgrim Academy Year 3 is a story driven game, where most of the gameplay comes from puzzle to solve (think about it as a point and click adventure in a top down RPG view). Overall the game takes from its prequels Year 1 and Year 2, with Margaret Dale and Gail Pilgrim. This time, you get to have a bit more liberty to explore something that is outside the academy, and some graphics got changed. The music is also a bit different and have some really cool new tunes. I personally liked the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The seventh Space Pilgrim chapter. Both Gail and Maggie's stories are developed further in alternating scenes. While it starts at the Academy as do the last two chapters, this has less focus on Maggie's classes. There is a spaceport, a museum and two new ships to explore throughout the course of this chapter as well as another secret location. Lots of character development, with Diane Romero and others becoming more central to the plot. Honestly I think if this series was redone with more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, if you are here, then you have most likely already played at least Years one and two, and probably also the whole Space Pilgrim Saga. If not, do so now, otherwise the plot of this game won't make any sense. For everybody who has played those games and enjoyed it, this is a must have. Year three continues the story from years one and two and is equally as good as them. The riddles aren't difficult, but the plot speeds up and you even gain insights into characters who you have already…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great writing. I've played all the games up until this point and the characters are like a warm blanket that I've come to love.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another great episode. Keep them coming, faster if possible. Also, given the considerable time between episodes, it would be useful to start each episode with a recap that will remind the player where he/she is in the story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The plot thickens. Still unbeatable on the price/entertainment scale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The continuing adventures of Gail Pilgrim and Margaret Dale as you work to unravel the mysteries behind the events of Years 1 and 2. As well as older mysteries... Anyway, if you liked the rest of the Gail Pilgrim Saga, and don't mind a few (or more) callbacks to the original Space Pilgrim Saga, this is a game you will enjoy. You probably should consider buying the Saga bundle, just for the sake of your wallet... not that the games are all that expensive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The story just keeps getting better with every game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 3 continues the story of Pilgrim Adventures’ long-running science fiction saga, expanding both the narrative and the themes that the earlier games introduced. As the third installment in the Academy series, it balances the dual perspectives of two central figures—Margaret Dale, the cadet struggling with her mysterious visions and growing powers, and Ambassador Gail Pilgrim, who is forced to confront political intrigue and dangerous conspiracies. This alternating…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please don't misunderstand my "thumbs down" for thi game. I actually love the Space Pilgrim Series and have played it several times over, It's just that this episode is seriously sub-par. Where Pilgrim was enjoyable point-and-click before, this is just going from cut sene to extensive cutscene. While the charaters are still enjoyable, the attempt at removing running around in favor of accelerated storytelling fails utterly. To top that of, the game - unlike its predecessors - is somewhat…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another great adventure game from Pilgrim Adventures. It shows that good writing can overcome everything including using RPG Maker.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →⭐ Recommended Year 3, and you already know the drill by now. After Year 2 I had no choice but to carry on straight away, because I had to know how the story continues. Same as the rest of the series, there are no battles. It plays like an old-school adventure again: searching locations for items, combining them and working out what to do with them. The puzzles still fit the story nicely. The characters carry it again too. The ones I liked from the first two years are back, and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The third Space Pilgrim Academy game uses the Academy setting much less, with most missions taking place in new and interesting locations for both Maggie and Gail. The narrative is deeper with side characters getting developed further. The puzzles are fun and mildly challenging. More is revealed about Maggie's past and the overarching plot progresses steadily. Overall, it is an enjoyable continuation of the Space Pilgrim Academy series.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i'm copy pasting the same review for all Space Pilgrim Academy game since they're basically one game split in multiple parts. With a limited system through RPGMaker this still manages to tell a very good story, with a fun soundtrack and decent puzzle challenges throughout. The characters returning from the previous series take a backseat to the new ones a lot which I don't mind as I prefer focusin on the generation, also going away from the idea that everything could've been solved quickly,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →opens up the lore a bit more and is well paced. although i don't fine it quite as good as the episodes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very well done RPGmaker game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would have paid SO much more for this series and been happy. I think the devs need to start asking for more to be honest. It's too good for this low of a price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game, enjoyable series. Simple yet fun adventure. Soooome grind if you are trying to do all the achievements, which means going back and replaying. It would be nice to have a way of escaping/bypassing cut-scenes (or of saving in the middle).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Maggie and Gail's story continues (obviously) in Year 3. If you've played this far into the series, you know the deal. Just go get it. 2.0 is real nice. Personally, I found Year 3 a little weaker than the other 2 entries. Gail's role was smaller and I found her part overall less interesting compared to what had to do with her in the past.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I always love Pilgrim series. This one gives me another 6-hour fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is the third of the Space Pilgrim Academy games, which form a sequel series to the earlier Space Pilgrim series. If you haven't played the original series I would strongly recommend playing it first. Like its predecessors the game is built using an engine intended for JRPGs, but the actual gameplay is closer to that of the classic '90s point-and-click adventures. With Gale in trouble Maggie is left in the capable hands of Sabina, but things quickly spiral out of control. This game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →can't wait for the next game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the game to play after a long day at work and you just wanna sit back and enjoy a great interactive story in your pajamas and slippers. Not a long game but it is satisfying to figure out each piece of the puzzle to advance the story along. Well worth it, and cant wait for the next episode.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feel like a fun, engaging, space adventure ? The Space Pilgrim Academy series never fails to disappoint to be both fun and engaging, and never frustrating! The creators of this game has mastered the perfect balance to tell a good story and fun script. This is classic adventure gaming at its best, for all those space quest-ers, this is a must-play!
