60 of 79 · most liked firstA really well made Solitaire game I like playing in evenings to relax. With a lot of variants to choose from one always has something to play, whether you want to take on a challenge and solve some very hard ones, chill with something easy or just want to get better at that one type of solitaire that's been driving you mad (I'm looking at you, Black Hole), it's all up to you. All of the mentioned above you're free to do in the Free Play mode that is featured alongside with Campaign mode where…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →solitaire expeditions offers 180+ solitaire variants, all listed on the store page, so I won't copy them here. they are all unlocked from the start in free play mode, no need to do anything if you only want to play some klondike or whatever, unlike in jewel match solitaire, for instance. the gist of each variant is shown under the layout screen and detailed rules are also available. you can mark favorites and sort by name, family (golf, spider, etc.), number of decks, difficulty (from very…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I refunded this game. It was too frustrating trying to make the game go during the "expedition" part of the game. I clicked and clicked and clickclicklcickclickclickclick all over the place trying to make it work. Seriously, I don't know how the devs thought this game would sell when you can't play it! The Free Play part of the game worked fine, however. It's just a big list of solitaire variations and you scroll down and click on the one you want, then click on the variations of that…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bro sometimes my brain shut downs and it becomes hard to concentrate on a full game with massive multiplayer or an investing story. So here I am, I have my tea, my blanket and my Solitaire Expeditions. Life is good
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Edit: It's true, the Developer already added some sounds and with a toggle too! Awesome! Solitaires are my guilty pleasure and this one scratches that itch. There are no visual fountains here, but the gameplay is solid and there is a lot of solitares. There is no audio, which can be either curse or blessing. For me, it's the former as I can play the game while listening to my music. Also, I had the pleasure of being a beta tester for this one, so I can attest that this game is developed by…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Far and away the best Solitaire collection I've ever seen. The gameplay is very streamlined, very little to get in between you and playing cards. The expedition mode is a great way to get players to try something new, and the unlocks from the progression are actually really high quality and inventive. Especially love that you can put the rules of each game in a different window which makes it a lot easier to reference. The price is astonishingly low for what you get, as well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solitaire Expeditions has all the different variants of solitaire that you could want. You can freely play any variant or play a campaign that challenges you to play all different types. As you play you earn rewards like new backgrounds and card backs. It is a great casual game with lots of replayability.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really great game of solitaire. Or rather many great variations of the card game. All the classics as well as a whole bunch of games I have never played before. Play either whatever you fancy of individual games, or embark on a campaign across the USA, where you get presented with 3 different games in each of the states you visit. It's my new favorite podcast game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this solitaire game. You can play over 170 solitaire variants, but the greatest feature is there is a Video showing you how to play each game, so you really don't need to read the rules before starting any game (but the rules are printed if you want to read them) Nice card graphics also. My rating is 10 out of 10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a true solitaire fest! You can play a lot of variants, from the more known ones to games like bringing the king and queen together. There are two modes: free choice and expedition.and the difficulty goes from quick fun to brain breaking terror. As you play, you gain points (even when you lose) which unlock skins and backgrounds. The position in the game list is being saved so you know what game you were last playing. You can sort the list on statistics, type, difficulty... You can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DISCLAIMER: I have done some of the art used in the game. If you're looking for a solid Solitaire game that recalls the days of endlessly playing the included Solitaire with older versions of Windows, I think you'll really enjoy Solitaire Expeditions. Its free play mode not only includes the "classic" Klondike variant many people think of as Solitaire, but dozens of others, including ones you actually have a decent chance of winning! Try Thumb and Pouch if you want to play Klondike with a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: If you are looking for a 'classic' solitaire game without weird gimmicks, this is the game for you. This is most likely the largest collection of solitaire variants anywhere. At the time of writing this, there are 200 variants in the game. Many of them are, of course, slight variations of each other, but none are exactly the same. You can look up the rules for each variant either in the menu or even while in a game. Very convenient. All variants are available for play right from the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meticulously crafted; does one thing and does it exceptionally well. The only thing I could ask for would be a default suit order for the foundations. That's a nitpick. Every other necessity and preference I could think of has been covered. And I can have duck decks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →HOW GOOD IS IT? Best game of its type Amazing Good Okay Meh Awful WHAT MAKES IT GOOD There is no game that has more versions of solitaire in one place. Before you roll your eyes, keep in mind that there are some versions of solitaire that require deep strategy. Yes, some of these are simple like Yukon and Free Cell, but some of them are very deep and fun to play. This game is extra special because it has a way to play a sort of “solitaire’s journey” across America, a mega-game where you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tons and tons of Solitaire games for the lazy casual card play when listening to podcasts or music or watching lazy YouTube... doesn't take up many system resources, is simple and unintrusive, no flashy nonsense, no daily challenges and minute long connection to some online server for gods knows what... just card games and that's exactly what I wanted. I used to play with Microsoft's solitaire suite, but they decided to make that a live service game, with either intrusive ads or a ...…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be honest, I didn't even know that there are so many types of solitaires! This game is a great way to try new types during the campaign. I'm looking forward to see how the game changes during early access but so far I'm having a blast.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an awesome solitaire game. It is really great to play and relax while listening to a podcast or something. I can definitely recommend it, and it also never gets boring due to the many different modes that can be played. You can even add your own cards and background if you don’t like the default ones for some reason. I also saw the game developing and it looks very promising and I’m sure there will be a lot of new awesome features soon. The developer is very nice and ambitious to make…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoy Solitaire like it's 1998 again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's just an awesome collection of card games that just does what card games should do. Cannot recommend highly enough.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great solitaire collection -- perhaps the only one you'd ever need. There are SO many variations in this game. Yes, at the end of the day, they're mostly very similar, but it's still fun for any fellow card-sorters out there :) And there are lots of solitaire card backs/decks/game backgrounds to unlock, so it's plenty customizable. It's given me 35 hours of fun over the past couple years, and the devs are STILL updating with new variants. There's over 180 by now. I like to check in now and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Soon after I started my Steam account, I went to work to find a nice Solitaire Card Game, and I found it in Solitaire Expeditions. It has nice controls, basic mouse and click, and nice graphics for the playing cards, including two classic playing card faces. I'm not overly interested in the Expedition part of the game, or at least not yet. Most PC Solitaire games have 5 or 6 variations, but this game has 100+ variations of Solitaire baked in, and this will keep me occupied for years to come.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Growing up in the pre-video game era, solitaire meant a couple decks of cards and a copy of Hoyle's Book of Card Games. I spent years working through all the variations listed within and often still turn to the game in times of mental turmoil. Modern computer versions have many advantages, such an enforcement of the rules and not taking over the dining table. Alas, their great flaw is the lack of variety. I own three other solitaire games, by three different studios, and while they differ in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tons of games! No ads! My favorite solitaire.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solitaire Expeditions is an excellent collection of 150 unique kinds of solitaire. There is a great selection of solitaire varieties and there is truly something for everyone. Solitaire Expeditions has extremely difficult types of solitaire if you want to challenge yourself, but also more easy and standard types of solitaire if you want to have a more relaxing experience. The game play is exactly what you would expect from a solitaire game, if not better. Expedition Mode is the main selling…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's Solitaire. Not much more, but nothing less. It is also one of the most stable Solitaire games on steam and probably the one with the best "game types per money" ratio. The statistics you build up during playing are a pretty cool feature. Card backs and backgrounds are nice and you can add your own as well. The dev is easily reachable and listens to feedback, which means UI improvements and bugfixes are rolled out quickly. If you like standard Solitaire games and are fed up with buggy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was looking for a casual game that I can play for 15 minutes here and there. Solitaire Expeditions is perfect for this. It's exactly as described. I really like the art style of the game. It's kind of retro, but not pixel-retro. It needs a little bit of polish (more sound effects, visuals etc), but it's already better than any classic game of solitaire I've played. I like that there are backgrounds and other details you can unlock as you make progress. The other little thing that is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solitaire is fun on its own, but this game introduces over 180 game modes to challenge yourself with. I can pick up any game by reading the rules and watching the demonstration. I like how different customizations are locked behind experience points; this system makes me want to explore new and different modes of play, and the "expedition" gives an organic way to do that. Some game modes will keep with traditional gameplay while others range from innovative challenges to zany card sorting.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the number of varieties of solitaire included, and am enjoying going through them all and starring my favourites so I can go back and play those again and again. I'm not sure if this is user error or not, but every so often a Rewards banner pops up along the bottom and when I click "Collect" it says I have 50+ rewards of various types, but usually it will only let me claim one before the window disappears, and I haven't been able to find the rewards elsewhere. It's just visuals, so it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best solitaire game I've seen on steam. A ridiculous amount of variants.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As of this review 177 variants of Solitaire, and while many are slight rule changes (going through the stock 1 card at a time or 3, or how many times you can go through) many are completely different. On top of that, if there is a variant not in the game that you really like, the dev may add it if you ask. Speaking of developer interaction, very active in the forums and when I asked for a minor upgrade in stat display if it wasn't too much trouble... Well within a few days there was an update…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I left my girlfriends, quit my job, sold my house and my butt so I can keep playing this game all day long. Please help me. I'm so cold and alone, and I can't stop clicking and clicking and clicking and clicking and clicking and clicking and clicking
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The perfect lunch break distraction with tons of content. Love it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ooh, this might become my Solsuite replacement! It's got all the variants I want, the dev is active on the discord and will add more if I ask, and the meta game of going across the states forces me to try even more variants. Good stuff! I REALLY like how it shows you how to play new games - most of these things just show you the rules and wish you luck, this one shows you what you should be doing. I also enjoy the meta aspect of collecting card backgrounds and art! Overall, big thumbs up for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It crashes all the time. And it crashes any other programs you have open with it. Not sure why a game based on solitaire takes so much CPU usage but I watched my counter jump up to 68% when I can't even hit those numbers when I play other games. I know It's just in BETA at the moment. I play the google solitaire but hate the mobile games that force you to watch ads. On that front this is an improvement. On the other hand, It's hard to finish a game without it crashing. Also even on easy some…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best place to play solitaire on your computer. Has all the different modes and if you, like me do not know how to play anything other than basic solitaire there are detailed help pages for each of the modes. 10/10 would buy again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a wonderful amount of variety. Who knew there were so many solitaire variants?!?!?!? It is exactly what you would expect from a solitaire game and game play has been solid so far.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This Solitaire game is great fun. Freeplay allows more variations of Solitaire than I knew existed. The campaign mode is very enjoyable and challenging at the same time. The custom backgrounds and cards you unlock as you play make it a pleasant environment to enjoy your time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a nice collection of fun quick games. Been laid up because of health so gives me a lot fun hours with out having to reshuffle decks. :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a big solitaire fan and there's so many variations I've never seen before in this game, I think around 250! I plan to win all of them at least once and achievement hunt, but some of them are pretty difficult. I would like an option in settings for only winnable deals, or at least to be notified if I'm going to waste 20 minutes on an unwinnable game. The expeditions part is a bit lacking, if you misclick a state you're SOL and have to go there. If you hit a state with no more connections,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent collection of solitaires.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like Solitaire or puzzle games in general, this is excellent. So, so many game variants to choose from and they range in difficulty from being relaxingly easy to brutal. The client is smooth and has nice customization. My only complaint is the quality of the unlockable content, but that content is not what I play this game for.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been a big fan of solitaire games in Windows XP while listening to music, missing that for a long while. This is a great solution. Fair price, does the job, and after minor farming, it even comes with semi-dark mode.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a comprehensive and straightforward solitaire collection, can't ask for much more
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a good, well-supported set of solitaire games that includes a ridiculous number of variations. The rules explanations and demonstrations are excellent and make it easy to learn new games. What's not to like?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hi -- This is a 2 Type of review -- 1. I liked the game because it was ALL solitaire -- different styles. 2. I did NOT like the Expedition -- Travel 50 States -- part because you needed to win certain type of game for each state. Very misleading -- I read or thought it said win games in FREE play then travel. Oh well -- not for me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the number of solitaire games possible. From very easy to Impossible. I get very relaxed playing solitaire. Enjoy the challenges.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you have been looking for a great solitaire game, stop the search. This is it. Only nit-pick might be that the graphics look like a port of a mobile game, but I can live with that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hi, can you add a feature where you can zoom in or make cards larger?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What cant i say another solitaire game lol.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't know there were so many types of solitaire but I've had a good time trying to figure out some of them. This version takes a new look at an old classic as you travel across the map unlocking different decks and backgrounds.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game!! I was never into Solitaire, but something overtook me on a whim in recent months that made me curious...and then I was quickly addicted. Originally I got this only wanting to have a Steam version of Solitaire, and I liked that this had rewards and goals in it, but I wasn't interested in the different layouts, just classic Klondike style. Then the expedition mode got me to try a few different variants, and now I actually prefer a couple of the other styles I never would have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tons of variants and very simple interface.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solitaire Expeditions may be basic, but its simplicity is its strength, delivering a serviceable and undeniably fun solitaire experience. The game's straightforward interface ensures ease of play, making it accessible to players of all skill levels. While it may lack elaborate features, its charm lies in the pure enjoyment derived from the classic card game. Whether seeking a quick, relaxing round or a more immersive session, Solitaire Expeditions strikes a balance that makes it a reliable…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The greatest variety of solitaire games I've played.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tons of solitaire varieties
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I own several different solitaire games and I like this game a little bit better than the other games. The developer keeps adding new variations of solitaire, but I mostly only play Westcliff and a little bit of Spanish Patience. There are several different card backs you can unlock, but only a few of them look nice.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No ads, a ton of variants, and runs smoothly. I've gotten to learn other games that I never heard of. Best collection on Steam, no question. Only thing upsetting are the graphics. The cards, *especially* the face cards seem blurry, backgrounds grainy, and sounds could be better. Regardless of all that, best solitaire game on Steam.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was just looking to play Spider without ads and without microtransactions. Found this beauty. I knew there were a lot of card games, but I never got to play them until now! I can't recommend this enough.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a wonderful solitaire game, great for sleepy nights and cards. My mother also loves it. Plus, there are so many varieties the game never gets old. I plan on spending a significant amount of time here during the winter. Thank you for this.
