Do not grind to complete the levels. Once you have enough money, you can purchase everything in the shop and then go back to the levels you were unable to complete. Even the bonus games you can complete at a later stage. Just play the game and have fun.

The first was Twilight, and I think I enjoyed this one marginally more because 1) the holiday music was more soothing and varied and 2) the bonus games were all solitaire variations, not "find the majhong tile" matching.
