47 of 47 · most liked first"Seven Doors" is a very short (about 1 hour) first-person puzzle game with no story, no room for exploration, and no actual content apart from a few simple puzzles and a trap-dodging sequence. It doesn't really do anything wrong, mostly because it doesn't do much at all, but it's most definitely not worth 6€. 2€, perhaps. The game's map is a linear sequence of seven rooms, each containing a puzzle or a dexterity challenge. You can't ever go back to a previous room, there is no meta-puzzle or…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played "Seven doors" for an hour without stopping in one breath. Exciting game that captures interest even more with every door and level, because all conundrums, puzzles are really different and peculiar. It is one of the puzzle games, where I can mention good graphic level, nice choice of equipment and tools for playing. I liked it's music - siundtrack, it fits perfectly with this game and creates the feeling of being completely immersed in the game. Control is rather easy and comfortable,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played it with my partner and we loved it. The game has amazing environments and puzzles with just the right level of difficulty to have fun without getting stuck. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few hours of fun puzzling. I loved the ending. It puts you in a good mood.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seven puzzles await, as do as a degree of tedium and … is that a Skyrim asset?! -Overview- Seven Doors is a linear puzzle game featuring varying visual themes and challenge types. Unfortunately, some puzzles are more tedium than challenge, and the technical options are incredibly limited. Completing it takes around an hour. 🎮Seven Doors can be played with keyboard/mouse and controller, but nothing can be re-bound or altered in any way, including look inversion and sensitivity.🎮 -Gameplay-…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like puzzles and riddles just fine. Stealthily moving through a room, or choosing the correct path, before something kills you-not so much. If someone else had kindly mentioned this, I would not have wasted my time trying this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short and sweet atmospheric puzzle game. Seven will interest walking sim fans and puzzle amateurs than puzzle experts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsgHxkxuA8E&feature=youtu.be
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When I saw this game, I didn't think about it, as it caught my attention and I was curious to see how it had been made. When a proposal immerses you in the way Seven Doors does, it's because things have been done with care and attention to detail despite the technical and natural limitations of an independent project. I can assure you that from the first-person perspective with which we faced this title, I felt overwhelmed by the artistic section of some of the scenarios, and I felt the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/9686972/]Follow "First Person Exploration and Puzzle Games" for more games like this! An alright puzzle game, but not good enough to recommend. The game consists of seven(-ish) "puzzles". Three of them involve solving actual riddles; these ones were decent-to-good. Three of the rooms have death mechanics, one of which was literally just "avoid the traps", which was not fun in any way whatsoever. A number of bugs made the experience frustrating:…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seven Doors is a first person puzzle that puts you through 7 different challenge rooms. There is no story, the graphics are okay, the music is fine, the audio too; controls are a bit clunky, especially with the mouse acceleration-deceleration, though being a puzzle game doesn't really matter that much. Another game I would like to give a neutral score, short and original; nothing I would replay, offering just an hour of fun. Price is fine for what it is, being the cheap ass that I am I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →sort of fun. then you enter a poor lara croft room that is just annoying, you die and have to wait for some animation and.... well i got bored. puzzle games do no need terribly executed action sequences at puzzle pace. if i am correct this game literally consists of only seven puzzles out of which so far 2 are trial and error. i really cannot be bothered. . at least that didnt bore me to tears. if i want to die a lot i play lost souls. if i want mystery i play the room. if i want escape the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seven Doors is an interesting puzzle game, it's not one made with a heavy budget or lots of people, but it's not a bad puzzle game. There are some things that could have been done better, for instance, in the third room, there could have been an indication for why you failed, to me it appeared like I died suddenly for no reason. There was a reason, but it is not made obvious. Another issue, is the use of deadly traps, which isn't solved with deduction or logic, just reflexes and dexterity. I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Been a long time since I last faced a puzzle game, but this was a fun short game. Maybe it was challenging for me only because I lacked the proper skills to solve them, but I did have to use brain power in some of the puzzles. The atmosphere felt a bit creepy, but as a horror fan I enjoyed that as well (although nothing scary happened). The only thing I personally would change was the direction in the puzzles' difficulty (eg.: the last one, although my favorite of them all, isn't the hardest).…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A puzzle game that would've been nice if it wasn't so tedious Full review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaV0A5p6W58
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very hard clues... Steam achievements didn't register... It was an okay price ($4.99 USD) though for around 60 minutes of gameplay. Otherwise it was a fun play through.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Number of doors: 28.5 out of 7 Price worth paying: On Sale Only Play with a friend for laughs and a good time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really pretty game but the puzzle design could use some work. I ended up using the walkthrough just to get through it. It could use some story to make you more invested in the situation, and rooms that rely on trial and error are not rewarding to solve. The papyrus doesn't make much sense even after decoded, and the painting riddles are too obtuse in my opinion. Overall, I'd really like to see more from the creators because I feel like there is some great potential and they care about making a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Who's who? Can you see much in the dark? What can you see? Fear or opportunity? One wrong action and it's all over again. There are screechers here, but they are right. It's a psychological horror film. But I'm sure there are much better games in this genre. ONLY at a discount of at least 70%. That's it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game positions itself as a horror puzzle game But it is far from it. Yes, it's not a bad game with great graphics, but the levels are pretty mediocre (I can't call them puzzles). I'm satisfied only because I bought the game at a discount of 80%. + Great graphics. +\- Good storyline. - Not scary!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed the game, each room is unique in its own way. It was interesting to solve the puzzles in the second and fourth rooms. Room three seemed like the most out of place in the game to me, but it was better than Room five, which looked like it ran out of ideas and moved away from the intent of the game. I partially disagree with the voice-over preceding the game's finale, which said that I showed wonders of calculation and strategy, in room seven I showed only wonders of of dementia and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very very short game with what is essentially 7 rooms / puzzles and no story whatsoever. There are no control options and if your mouse is too sensitive or very little you'll have to set the speed outside of the game in the windows options. The movement is janky which is not an issue for the puzzles however 2 of the rooms require precision navigation with one of them being about timing your movement to avoid traps. The puzzles aren't hard and I recommend taking notes or screenshots in the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why is it so short? It was interesting for me to pass this game. The puzzles are really hard sometimes but sometimes easy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I find this game very frustrating as the loading is slow and the controls choppy. This is not a point and click game. It is a WASD game. I have gotten to the 5th level and am about to abort continuing this game. My blood pressure can't take it. This game may be good for younger adults with good hand coordination. I am older and enjoy point and click. I do enjoy puzzles, but, not puzzles like the ones in the 7 doors. I got this game on sale so I am not to disappointed as opposed paying…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although it starts off strong it goes off course by room three which to me made very little sense and I had to use a walkthrough. Also when I play a puzzle game I prefer less dexterity based challenges as I usually play with my girlfriend who is much more into the mind than reflexes. It does have a great atmosphere and with more thought put into lore and puzzles that are more based on combining items/using cool items or something closer to the Rusty Lake series it could be quite good. Good…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a fun way to spend an evening with a variety of challenges that uses different parts of the brain. I was hooked for the duration. 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game grabbed me from the beginning and didn't let me go until I finished it. I love its riddles and puzzles. The difficulty is perfect to make it interesting without making it frustrating.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would only recommend this at a heavily discounted price or bundled and you're wanting to finish specifically a first person escape room type puzzle game in an hour. I got this in a cheap bundle and am satisfied but not only is it short, it's very rough. It feels like a rushed and unpolished game with the awkward controls and movement, minimal options, and basic gameplay. Keep a notepad handy for the 6th room or be prepared to take screenshots and alt-tab otherwise you're in for a tedious time…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very short puzzle game; but I found it entertaining. The game is made up of seven room puzzles. I found two of the rooms to be lame because one required agility and the other was trial and error. The other puzzles were logical for the most part, although one specific part of one of the rooms required me to reference the guide. Even after seeing the answer, I'm not sure I know why it was referencing the specific aspect.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Screw this game and its broken achievements. I played for 3 hours, doing the same damn thing over and over and over, trying to get the achievements to pop up, completing the tasks I was supposed to, and none of the achievements unlocked for me. NONE! Not even the (story-related) achievements for the doors I opened, much less the "missable" achievements I spent so much time on.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cute little game, nothing extraordinary but some of the puzzles are fun to figure out. be warned, though: if you're someone enjoying steam achievements, you should know that they are broken, and that the situation has remained this way for a few months now, with no indication of a fix being worked on.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoyed this game. Some puzzles are easy some are hard and need to use your brain a bit more. Second time I have played this game and I got an achievement round which I didn't know about the first time I played, so a few extra puzzles in the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seven D-o-o-r-s Are you ready to find out what's waiting for you behind the door? It could be fear, disappointment, or joy... Or?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was sold on "The perfect game for an evening of puzzles" but puzzles are NOT - trial and error so you don't die - avoiding death traps (that's platforming, not puzzling!) - solving mazes - manually translating hieroglyphs w/o useful interface for such - etc If all the doors had been like Door 1 and Door 2, it'd have been awesome. Instead it was the opposite of a relaxing evening of solving puzzles
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice little puzzle game I suppose
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just finished the game. I had no technical issues with it. I solved all the puzzles without a guide. There isn't any story if you're looking for that. It took me 2.8 hours to complete; it will likely take you less. I can only recommend if you enjoy problem solving and don't mind finishing game in one sitting. It also helps to have basic chess knowledge.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seven Doors is an extremely interesting indie project that is a horror quest, from the pros I would attribute very good graphics as for an indie project, the presence of a plot and quite good, more than adequate cost and ease of management, interesting puzzles, the only thing that upset me is some short plot, the pros and cons of the project are worthy of getting acquainted with it, in general, I recommend to purchase
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In addition to the excellent idea of the game and a lot of interesting puzzles that you really have to think about ... I really liked the fact that the developers did their best and made the English voice acting. It's nice when everything works right
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the first three rooms in less than a half hour, too bored to keep going. My audio also wasn't working properly for most of that time which detracted from the experience. If this is your first ever escape-room or exploration puzzle game then it could be fun, but there's nothing new or exciting here compared to myriad other great puzzle games on steam. Not worth the full price for a 1-2 hr game but could be worth it on heavy discount.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Third plat of 2025 - Seven Doors Short puzzle game. Had its moments. For the $2 I paid, can’t complain.
unlabelledView post →I'd give this game 5/10, so a bare recommendation. I got it at a deep discount, so I think it was okay value vs play-time. It's quite a shallow game really; just a series of rooms with unrelated puzzles to solve. In some rooms you die quite frequently until you've worked out the solution. That wouldn't be so bad if it restored you in the room rather than further back. Some of the puzzles are quite simple, others require a little dexterity, and others are just hidden object puzzles. If that's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting concept for an escape room game. (I just call it that way) Some hints are very hidden. The pharaoh room was maybe a bit too much. You have copy all the notes, or take a photo. Also the Chess room I wished there were more hints which color you are and a image who caused the death. Maybe shorten the stun for the entrance of the doors. It is so annoying when you try to find something out and have to pass it again and again. I like the music. The game is okay. Doesn't redefine the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty decent puzzle game. 7 Doors awaut you in this full game. The puzzles aren't as easy as they look. The first room is simple and easy but Room 2 cam be a pain with placing the correect items in the correct bowls, room 3 is navigating a safe path without dying over and over. Room 4 is a copy of room 2 put the items in the correct places. Room 5 and 6 were interesting but can be difficult especially the pharoah puzzle, it made no sense to me so I had to lookup the solution. Puzzle 7 was my…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It would be an interesting one-off experience if it were free to play. It doesn't really have the required length or gameplay to justify spending money on it. You're going to have roughly 1-2 hours of play time completing what is essentially an escape room. 7 rooms with 7 puzzles. 2 out of the 7 puzzles were actually interesting and took a little bit of thinking to complete. The other 5 were either too easy or you could just brute force them. During the last puzzle, I figured out what I was…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game isn't bad for it's price, but overall it's rather boring. The puzzles are extremely simplistic, basically reused versions of every common puzzle you can think of- a very basic riddle to solve or a very basic obstacle to walk through. Feels rather like a cheap asset flip game. Additionally, the achievements are completely broken and it seems they'll remain that way forever, which is just an extra annoyance on top.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Basically is a game with 7 puzzle/riddles that you can finish in 3/4 hour that tries too hard, without much success, to be an horror game with the only outcome to become annoying very fast. Very basic. Very boring. Not worth you money ... maybe if it was free ... maybe ...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got to room 6 and by that point the awful FPS had given me motion sickness so I just gave up and refunded. I can comfortably play games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Death Stranding with this GPU, I don't understand why Seven Doors' bland, polygonated dirt walls brought my GPU to it's knees, but I draw the line at games that make me feel unwell. The first two rooms show some promise, but they're over within minutes. Rooms 3-6 are either not puzzles at all or are the kind of puzzles that require…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros Nice Graphics. First two doors you really have to think but can get away with blundering around until the clues hit you. Cons Game play is not intuitive. Beyond the second door you will need a walkthrough as blundering around with no clue what to do is not fun. But if you want to numb your brain I guess you could struggle along and maybe find an method that works. Die retry die retry repeat this is not fun or mind building its mind numbing. Beyond the second door you may get so frustrated…
