You'll be spending lots of time collecting gems and solving puzzles to progress, some seemingly Half-Life 2 inspired. A boss battle follows each chapter, including a fight with a giant toad that swallows you if spotted, an octopus, and King Kong with a red valve stuck in his head (maybe a statement about a certain games…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before I played this i had a small penis, no girlfriend and no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the puzzles are way to easy for me as im a master gamer but the robot guy SUCKS he should have been a monkey or something
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My Playtime: 3h (100% achievement, finished the game) Grindy Achievement(s): Yes (~2 achievements). Optional Achievement(s): Yes (~37 achievements). Difficult Achievement(s): No. Intro Scrap Garden is an adventure game about a robot named Canny. In it, he'll explore various places, solving puzzles and killing enemies that are trying to get in his way. Pros: - Optional collectibles to find - Chapter select after you finish the game Cons: - Checkpoints are too sparsely placed - Annoying…

The game in short: a poor, really short and minimalistic platformer. Physics are broken, colours are "okay", HUD and interface are ugly. All along the game you have one quest: getting rubies, but once you have the goal it takes all of them anyways no matter how much more you carry. If the story-progression asks for 60 gems and you have 70, you'll…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute little indie game, rather boring though. I would not buy this game at full price, if at all. I got it for free though so thanks for that.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →`fun game suitable for all ages lots to do
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is okay, that's all
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →-You can't save the game when you want. -Its graphic & controller is not good enough too. Just get it when it gets free! *In a mission after many things that I've done, I went into the ground because of a bug & died! No save option so I should start from the beginning of that almost long level, The cutscenes are unskippable too! What did I do next? u r right! I uninstalled it!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty innovative gameplay if you let your imagination do its thing. Very relaxing game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A gaming website I used to use is apparently shutting down so I'm going through my old posts there to see if there's anything I want to archive, below is a comment I made about this game there about 6 years ago: I finished Scrap Garden and it was really good!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Scrap Garden is an old horse that only knows easy and boring tricks. This Lithuanian indie game feels like a cheap student project, even after the developer Flazm joined them. Truly primitive work. I can't believe they looked at it and said: good enough, ship it.. This game may be charming but beside that it has nothing to offer. Scrap Garden is short and the maps are small. Even old Spyro on PS1 managed to deliver more. The combat is way too basic, you jump on monsters head like mario. Worst…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PSA #1: Arachnophobia warning for levels 2, 3, 6, and 7, especially the beginning of level 2 and the mansion in level 6, which are practically jump scares. PSA #2: The camera’s a bit wonky. It gets in the way a bit, and it turns around too fast on the default settings. I recommend setting “camera sensitivity” to 2. Scrap Garden is okay. I guess I'm a little disappointed because I was hooked by the atmospheric opening, cute robot character, and whimsical narration, which made me think that…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very simple oldschool, platforming simplistic story not engaging. Cute robotsounds included R2D2 style. Only reason i ended up on not recommended is that i dont think it is worth spending money on. There is nothing inherently wrong with the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a scrap tech demo alright.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3D platform and puzzle game about a tin can robot, out to save the world and fellow robots . Decent story, sorrowful music. Controls, camera and jumping needs to get used to, in the beginning. Most stages and domes are rather simple and easy. Hidden Collectibles and Achievements requires special attention. Some achievements like 100 breaking boxes and 300 enemies destroyed, needs extra grinding even after the completing the game Playable short story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If your idea of the perfect breakfast is toast, the perfect evening is a nap on the couch, and the perfect puzzle is the maze on the back of a cereal box, you might love this game. It's not without its charm, but there's not a lot going on here. Run around, collect gems, jump on enemies, solve a few very simple puzzles. I didn't hate it, but I'm not about to bring Scrap Garden up in conversation, and definitely not at full price. It's an easy, quiet, mostly relaxing platformer, and nothing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple, charming, straight forward and a short adventure. Scrap Garden shows no new mechanics, does not try to reinvent the wheel. You will hear the narrator telling the story and you will experience it, first hand. With 8 Chapters to go through you will see different scenarios with some collectibles for you to keep an eye out and push for a bit of exploration before advancing to the main goal. It's a open world but a small one with some levels using 2D mechanics. The puzzles are easy and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great atmosphere Chill gameplay Nice music Good game if you want a short, quick comfy platformer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite an interesting and funny game. I didn't even expect that I would like her so much... Going through Scrap Garden is a breeze. It's fun to play on a gamepad. And it’s really great when the game doesn’t get boring and doesn’t become boring... Honestly, it’s a little unfortunate that I finished this game so quickly.. P.S. By the way, for complete relaxation, I advise you to play exclusively on a gamepad;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's hard for me to understand why devs so strongly stick to making references to a very good point'n'click game Machinarium, because Scrap Garden has nothing that Machinarium has. It is so bad in everything that I don't even know if the main concept is salvagable in any way. The world is after apocalypse and only we, as Canny, survive. I don't really remember why, either because it wasn't said or I just stopped paying attention. Anyway, we start to search for answers, but we only find... red…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Scrap Garden drop's Machinarium's point-and-click puzzling for 3D platforming. Sadly, the platforming isn't good, and the charm that made Machinarium enjoyable is lost in the process. As a 3D platformer, Scrap Garden is decidedly second rate. The environments mostly lack depth, the pace is slow, and the combat is a joke. The negligible difficulty, as well as the "story-time with grandpa" style of narration suggests that the game was intended for kids. The dark areas and jump-scares,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had a great time with this game, the story was great and the gameplay was fun, the character was charming the puzzles and boss fights were fairly easy but it made for good progression. I loved the change of pace the game had and the unique camera animations/cinematics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice, free, 2hr, 100% achievement, easy, chillout game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute premise, poor execution. It's a simple game, which is what I look for from time to time and not an issue in and of itself. But the problems are much of what other's have already said. Slippery controls, lack of saves even on long levels, and a lack of direction that will have you wandering aimlessly until you bumble into what you needed to do. Also, a bizarre inclusion of a "Tikki" tribe who from some strange reason had Totem Poles from North West indigenous peoples. It was trying to be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was precise to the story, it had simple mechanics with an easy difficulty(kinda struggled with the first boss), the sound track was alright and liked the fact that the game had a narrator. I liked it when camera angles changed according to different scenarios. Even well optimised for lower end PC's. The physics of the game was kind of good, the Boss battle were evolving and had a change in the creatures throughout the different regions of the game and were unique to those parts. It did…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fine, played it a little
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels like this game should've been a collectathon platformer, and not platformer with some puzzles, because collectathon gameplay would've complimented very well with SG's best aspects And the best aspects of Scrap Garden are the environment design and music. You go from daytime in the city, to day or dusk hills, to evening/night snowy mountain, to dark swamo area, and then slightly lit volcano and ending on dawn in the city. It genuinely adds to the feeling that you went on a long journey,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First playthrough review time. I got this game for free, and it followed its story quite well with simple controls and an easy level of difficulty, though the first boss was a bit hard to manage. The soundtrack was fine, and the narrator added a nice touch to the storytelling. The camera angles changed based on different moments, which made scenes more dynamic. The physics worked well, and the boss battles had good variety, with different types of creatures appearing across each region. Each…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Scrap Garden is 3D Platformer that was good enough for me to finish, but I wouldn't recommend it to others (Outside of a deep sale). The controls are solid, while the combat is a little too clunky to be enjoyable. Also the minecart section is terribly paced and the QTE at the end of the game as way to tight of timings.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The games a cute little 3D platformer about a sweet cylinder shaped robot. I did enjoy it, honestly. But its short enough to be a tech demo, and plays like one too. Worth it if you can get it for a great sale price. Cannot recommend paying anywhere near full price.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An okay 3D platformer that's suitable for kids. Scrap Garden offers a fun, lighthearted adventure with charming visuals and simple gameplay. While it may not have the depth or complexity of more polished platformers, it's a decent choice for younger players looking for an enjoyable and accessible game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A compact platformer Story Scrap Garden tells the story of the robot Canny finding out why all the other robots are turned off and how to solve it. Its nothing even remotely close of revolutionary, but it doesnt need to. It's charming, simple and perfect for its target audience. Gameplay An adventure game that is mostly platforming, some puzzle solving and a few time sensitive sequences. It's simple but it works for what the game intends to do, the puzzles could be a little harder, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quick Review "Scrap Garden" is a simple adventure game that works nicely in every aspect but doesn't shine in anything in particular. A good and clear story with some simple platforming mechanics and a little bit of exploration if you want to find collectibles. If you took the time to play the demo before, you know what awaits you in the full version game and so much more. Scrap Garden tells you the story of C4N, aka Canny, an odd little robot who finds himself lost in time and awakes after a long sleep to find his world…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too clunky for some reason but an least it's like a midnight snack.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →6/10 Decent A charming, casual platforming/adventure game, Scrap Garden has you control a robot ‘Canny’ as he investigates why all the robots have been switched off. This game is suitable for children I think, it is very easy, simple to get into, simple to enjoy and on the short side. It is fairly charming, You go around the stages collecting gems to open up barriers. It’s a fairly generous limit as well, if you need 40, the level will probably have around 70 available to collect. You jump…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a decent game but GAME STOP STEALING MORE GEMS THAN YOU NEED GRRR!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game for a casual stroll to beat the stress after a long work day. Easy 100% achievements and only 2 of them are a bit grindy, but not frustrating.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best indie game i ever played
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent game that looks and feels exactly like a student project, so adjust your expectations.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Considering this game has been made by two kids, it's pretty good. I played with mouse/keyboard, it's annoying you can barely look up, and the robot won't completely face the direction you turn the camera too, you gotta overshoot a bit. It's easy enough to get used to, be a tad annoying, especially when you have a platformer bit with falling platforms so you gotta be quick. AI is minimal, but the game is designed so it doesn't show (only got one instance of a spider getting stuck in the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got this when it was free. Simple game. You have ability to pick up and throw objects and kill enemies by jumping on them. Even the boss fights use the same thing, pick up and throw objects. 7/10 overall.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →please add audio options
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Scrap Garden is a cute little platforming game. You play a walking trash can powered by nuclear energy, trying to turn everyone else in your robot city back on. The best description I can give it is 'earnest', as the game is kind of janky, but was clearly given love during development. It only took about 3 hours or so to beat the story, but the short run time means levels never overstay their welcome. The mechanics are very simple, meaning the boss fights are pretty boring, but luckily like…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Way too simple, and your main enemy is the physics engine.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short but charming puzzle-platformer / adventure game. It has a great atmosphere and a beautiful level design.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game during the pancake week sale. Its a neat little platformer, but it is very rough around the edges and doesn't do anything new. I was able to beat the whole game in two hours.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a walking simulator where you jump. Probably made with Playmaker.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a very, very simple PS2-like 3D platformer that cannot be called anything other than a game intended for young children. It has a very, very basic story. Very, very basic controls. Very, very simple objectives. For what it is, it is what it is... It's definitely not something the majority of adults would want to spend money on I don't think. But, as I said, I look at it as a game for young children, and as that it does it's job relatively well in my opinion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It became very clear after 30 minutes that this game is poorly made and unfun.
