  Huge warning make sure to make your own save before playing with friends. If you join a friends game without starting your own save the character progression wont be saved so when you make your own save all the progress made on your friends game will be reset to your own save. Lost an hour and a half of progress games still pretty fun though.

  Hell yeah! Scott Pilgrim EX just got DLC. Kim Pine, Knives Chau and Stephen Stills are now finally playable in the game, and god knows how many people I talked to who were upset about the first 2's absence. Plus Arcade mode as a free update, another thing I really wanted. Cool.

  I decided to get Scott Pilgrim EX and it’s pretty cool. It’s way more River City than the first game. I thought it would be interesting to compare the two games. I think all the characters look better in the new game but I kind of miss the grit in the BGs in the original.

  For the price and duration of the game, I wouldn't recommend buying this. I would recommend getting it on a sale. The soundtrack is really great, just like the first game. However, the gameplay doesn't match up to the first game. Bouncing against walls trying to jump over a wall, dropping your weapon if you run too far away from your coop buddy and hit the side of the screen, falling off of edges because you accidently started dashing and you can't stop, etc. I would give this a 5/10…

  While the core gameplay is fun I am disappointed in the amount of content for the price. Playing solo I was able to blast through the game in 5 hours, including some unnecessary secret hunting/backtracking or getting lost. I don't blame the game for the latter and maybe more will be added in the form of free or paid DLC, but as it stands I just wish there was more to sink my teeth into. This is probably best enjoyed with friends on harder difficulties.

  TBH, can't recommend this game. It feels painfully shallow, unfinished, and definitely not worth the full price. The game plays fine, but there's barely any progression, lots of minor annoyances, and tons and tons of backtracking. The enemy design isn't amazing, and there's not a lot of music that captures my attention when compared to the first game. It's also 4 hours long and is not worth replaying at all. Overall, just a massive disappointment for me.

  Man this is a lot more than I expected. Balances the RPG mechanics and actual fighting so much better than the original and most beat em’ ups with RPG mechanics in general.   Can not recommend this game in its current state. At full launch, Sprites for Progression-critical NPCs were missing, according to a bunch of discussion-threads losing or overperforming in certain bossfights leads toa softlock, now I ran into a similar issue with an invincible boss down to the last hit it takes. Refund request has been issued. Hope the game gets patched, but maybe it should ahve been released in a properly working condition.

  Game just feels bad and clunky to control, especially after cosmic invasion and shredder's revenge, almost every aspect of the game feels sluggish or lacking on purpose to pad game time or fake difficulty.
