60 of 162 · most liked firstI guess you could you say that I came at Safety First with a bit of cynicism. At first glance one will think this is just YouTuber scream bait, QWOP style game that is more about pee jokes and arms being ripped off more then about a fun game. For the most part my cynicism was not incorrectly misplaced, it is all those things but despite that this game still actually manages to be kind of addicting, fun, and rather challenging in clever ways. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself not just…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Introduction Safety First! is developed by JCO and published by Headup Games. Dev team’s first game release onto Steam, but I think they’re off on the right foot. The title in question is a parody of sorts, but one which doesn’t feel forced and can be quite a challenge to unsuspecting players. For its current price, I consider it a great deal. Gameplay Physics-based puzzle platformers aren’t new neither on Steam nor before it. And yet, very few of them mix humor with nerve bending digital…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the most majestic game I have ever played. At first I was cautious of this games quality, then I went to the games steam forum and asked why this game was created. The developer then replied to my little question and told me the meaning of life, the universe and everything. This game has taken me out of a long existential crisis and given meaning to my life. I am forever in the developers debt.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →(If you 'd rather not read this review, you at least owe it to youself to watch the trailer on the Safety First! Store Page.) Safety First! is a surprisingly clever and well-designed twin stick physics game, as much a puzzle game as one based on dexterity. The premise is that the gamer must control a stick-figure character to fix electrical problems by using Magical Yellow Repair Liquid (MYRL) directed toward the damaged area through a tool hanging from the character’s waist. (In simple…

Thank God your hearing aid is working perfectly when you remember to turn it on! You would not believe what happened to my grandma! She forgot to turn on her hearing aid one day (the day of her favourite radio show); she turned up the volume so high on her antique radio and managed to damage stacks of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the sounds of the character, for example like the last sound you hear in one of the trailers besides that i've always wanted to save the world by urinating on broken electric cables https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovPn3p0xoSA
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game was alright until Drunk mode. It's obvious they didn't playtest it. Some levels are complete and utter ♥♥♥♥, *especially* UP AND DOWN. Not to mention the other modes are just the same levels you already played, again and again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Due to a game-breaking bug I was unable to play, it was keep moving me left without even touching keyboard or gamepad. Huge dissapointment becasue devs were informed about this issue over 2 years ago and still haven't managed to fix it.

You essentially have to move your character to various gaps or "broken cables" and then aim your donger and shoot some piss to amazingly fix them. + The gameplay is a lot of fun. You control the left and right leg with the analog sticks of a controller. If they spread too far apart they will break off, so you have to carefully navigate around each level. + The physics are ridiculous in relation to your…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh, you have to piss on things and the controls are purposefully awful. How hilarious.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funny game :-) You try to fix broken electrical cables with you pee! hehehe Safety First!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Indie at its best! Weird premise and hilarious game mechanic? Check. Solid execution with precise physics and brilliant audio? Check. BEWARE: This game is challenging, but fair. Be sure to use controller!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Safety First! is a minimalistic stick figure platformer/puzzle game where you pee on electrical wires to fix them. From this, we learn two things about the developers. They have no idea how electricity works, and they have no idea how to even conceptualise a video game, let alone develop one. Presumably hoping for sales based on the comedy value of the game, what they actually delivered was a very mediocre and somewhat pointless puzzle game. $3 for something that could run on Adobe Flash…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its passable gameplay makes it float above the crudeness.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Safety First is a small but clever physics-based puzzle game that challenges you to think creatively and strategically. The goal is simple: keep your characters or objects safe while solving increasingly tricky scenarios using realistic physics. Despite its minimalistic design, the game delivers satisfying “aha” moments when a well-planned solution works perfectly. The controls are intuitive, and the puzzles ramp up in complexity at a comfortable pace. Each level encourages experimentation,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and very simple concept. Very enjoyable game, plus the music in the credits is awesome. I mean the concept is already great, but they went the extra mile to add a nice ambience (both music and graphics). Also, the many sounds of the stick-man and the many many ways you will kill it are incredible. Very nice concept, again. If you like simple concepts, easy to understand but hard to master, this is a serious candidate.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before I played This Game... I had a small wee wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Safety First! more than a game. It carries the true colors and the best emotions that you have ever felt. Safety First is life! It's full of happiness, anger, love, appeasement and piss of course. THE BEST GAME EVER MADE. 100/10 Should be the GOTY 2022
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Move your feet. Fight the gravity. Repair things. Funny. Challenging. 6 of 69 levels are unfairly hard to beat and you'll suffer. But not too much.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game appeared on the wrong monitor with 4:3 for some reason. There is no way to change that. Some levels are impossible to beat because of that. What the hell :\
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game shouldn't exist. But it does and I don't know how I feel about that. But the mechanics are simple, the gameplay is simple, its a simple game but this game shouldn't exist. WHY DID YOU CREATE THIS GAME?! But more importantly, WHY DO I LIKE IT?! If you need something to pass the time, a fun quirky game, then this is it. It is extremely different but it is good. Again, WHY! ... You know what, don't answer that question. I'd rather not know.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got a achievement for pluging in my controller. 10/10 ign.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You play a robot that fixes things by peeing on them. The real question is why aren't you playing this yet.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I saw the early version of this game released at Revision 2015 as part of the games compo, and it captivated the entire audience. The whole hall was erupting with laughter as players attempted to solve the puzzles. The next day I couldn't walk anywhere without seeing someone playing it, whether in the main hall, down in the tunnel, or anywhere else. In this game your task is to urinate "magic fixing fluid" into electric wires. Your controls are something akin to QWOP, with individual control…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a weird little game, as you all might already have guessed :) You control the legs of this stickman, use a controller, each twinstick for each leg, he is a delicate man tho and breaks easy so be gentle. Gameplay https://youtu.be/MuLMcI-pgdU
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its a simple but fun little game and i think its worth the 2 euros XD seriously tho the game is simplistic but fun enough to keep playing altough its frustrating with keyboard its possible so yeah THUMBS UP
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short and Sweet, This game is something of almost like an indie game where you can pass the time on completing levels and the controls are basically controlling your feet as the movement without disemboweling yourself, as you bend down and defecate to fix the holes and wires that pose as a challenge in the game. Of course like all other games, as you progress the levels do get more intense as you advance forward. The game mechanics are very smooth and controlled. I would not put much more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ok lol wow. forget about all the jokes when you first see it but the game control reminded me of octodad but a lot more basic. you had to use your brain and hand eye coordination and use both hands for controlling separate legs. I enjoyed playing it on the stream and had a fellow viewer playing it at the same time i was to see who can beta it first. we actually finished right about the same tiem lol. enjoyed it but just trying to tthink of it like an old nes game. thosegames you can beat…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Long live the MYRL (Magical Yellow Repair Liquid). My friend had to laugh so hard, seeing me play this game, that he peed his pants. Bad jokes apart… here is my review: Safety First is such a stupid but fun game! I don’t even know how to explain it. There is a human-like robot that shoots “repairing juice” out of his… yeah… his thing. You can only control his feet (left is “WASD”, right is “the arrows”). You will need to solve the physics puzzles by moving him around, lifting his legs,…

You are tasked with peeing on cables to repair them, but the catch is that the cables becoming increasingly hard to get to. The game’s presentation is fairly weak. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disclaimer, I got this in a HumbleBundle I paid €1 for, so I don't care about the cost of the game. The concept for this initially sounded pretty fun, but it really is not what I expected. The sound quality is what I would expect for something like this, but the constant grunts and sounds the character makes? They are not disgusting, but they annoy the hell out of me. And no options menu? I can't even switch the game over to my main monitor. All other games open on monitor1, why would this…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have to say, this took me by surprise. At first glance it comes across as one of those fairly hollow, youtube vid fuel, barely playable mess games. Buy it if you want a quick giggle... but it isnt. Despite being very silly the control of it is actually really tight. Yes the stick man can flail somewhat but how out of control it is is mainly in your hands. There are two or three levels that really push it as far as frustration goes, but much of the time it gets the difficulty about right and…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're thinking "is this an actually fun game that I can enjoy or just another random cheap cashgrab with no real game in it?", then it's the first one. I thought this was just another one of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 5 cent "games" that use comedy to hide how bad they are (like the one with saving trump from a bullet or "grass simulator"), but this one is actually pretty fun. I almost didn't buy it, but it was 75 cents so why not, and I cannot say I am disappointed. The controls are a bit hard, sure,…
