negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little roguelike, unless you have friends. 2 people trying to play this with a camera that only allows both of you to be in the same area of the screen is an absolute atrocity in 2026. If this gets fixed I'd easily rate this game 8/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Over 80 hours during early access, most of that time playing 2 player with my wife, a bit of 3 and 4 player with the kids. Easy recommend, I have some gameplay and thoughts up on YT, it's a short review (less than 5 minutes). https://youtu.be/DFa9TR0Zoac
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let me start by saving that I play a lot of Rogue-Like/Survivor-Like games, and generally decide if II'm going to keep playing them around 2-3 hours in. I've just crossed the 4 hour mark and completed several runs and a few dozen achievements. I'm about to put the game down as "Recommended" as I think it is fun now, with a lot of potential to become so much better. The first few runs are pretty bland. There aren't many weapons, trinkets, characters, and the accumulation of gold feels really…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game left me torn on if I wanted to recommend it or not, and I've decided that, no, several games already do what it does, but better. The game at it's core isn't terrible, and even does a few things different from other games in the genre, like having variants of it's characters that can play entirely differently from their base counterparts. Save for the game feeling a little slow, it's still fun. The problem is what it does with one of the core systems in games like this: Evolving…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not bad... ...and in an isolated universe where Royal Revolt was the only bullet heaven on the market I can see myself recommending it. But the game is part of one of the most competed and oversaturated genres. It just falls behind in core aspects. Good: + Has a very nice art style. + Is very beginner friendly. + Has a good weapon and upgrading design. + You can turn the faced direction of your hero with the mouse hand. + Very affordable pricing, I paid 4 bucks for the full release. +…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Look, I want to like it, genuainly I do, but I can't recommend it. It at best can be described as a mindless game for when your mind begins spiral. Seen too many of this type of game, and the problem is all the same, when I've finished a run, what would make me want to come back? The loop is complete, I know what this game wants and I did it, but like hell i'm going to do it time and time again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →plays like a mobile game lmao
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun and super polished! Feels well balanced and seems to have a lot of content as well. Hard to stop playing... and I didn't even try multiplayer yet ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →dev ran and ended early acces early from 0.4 to 1.0 patch, so alot of things are missing, like info on what the hell things are really doing, and other range weapon does not add extra attack and such, plus the game crashes out of nowhere sometimes in co-op DO NOT BUY THIS SH'T p.s Dev does not answer questen or anything at all
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →honestly it's game long since abandoned. it's ok if you want something simple to start off this kind of genre. but i feel the game it's not scaled right. I played long enough to get to a point where i have all the powered up upgrades I can get. AND still can't progress further because of the difficulty spike. unless i'm doing something wrong, which is, I do not know what it is. it's not fun. it's annoying.... there are challenges in this game that seem BS to me... for example, I've been…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nope, mid at best + annoying anti cheat system
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →never been so bored in a roguelite*... this feels like the game you load up when that 5 year old family member comes over and wants to play a game like yours
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →worst meta progression ive ever seen. +0,5 projectiles my ass. refunded
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Coming back to this game after playing more games in the genre, my opinions have changed in some ways and remain the same in others. I've learned this game is heavily inspired by Vampire Survivors and now get why bosses are on a 5 minute interval. I'll break down my pro's and con's with the current state. Things I enjoyed so far: - Aesthetic - artwork is nice and the game has a calm atmosphere - Abilities/Weapons - while there isn't that much in terms of variety at this point, the options…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice vs-like which opens up a lot once you've gone through the basic stages. Especially later stages are very different to your usual experience with these kind of games, so I'd recommend sticking around till you've reached the later stages.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super polished and quite addictive, really opens up after a few completed runs when the unlocks roll in - the genre is starting to get saturated, but this one is a standout, runs awesome on deck too
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solid game. It's a fun night or two for a couple friends on the couch. Given the price, there's just enough content for a weekend. I played it through with my 7 year old and we had a good time. You'll need a solid rig for the hard mode stuff. The game doesn't explain a lot about the equipment and buffs and their interactions - some option for more details would be appreciated. Played like a blend of A RPG, rouge like and bullet hell.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one is a solid, good-looking implementation of mostly the best ideas from Vampire Survivors and the rash of bullet heaven games that followed it. It won't blow you away with tons of crazy new ideas or mechanics, but the tweaks and additions to the genre on show here play pitch perfect with the toolbox on hand. I've gotten a lot of titles in this genre, and I haven't gotten to 10+ hours on all that many of them. This is a top shelf entry and worthy both as an introduction to bullet heavens…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game feels very polished, with nice clean visuals and has a solid foundation for an Early Access title. It's clear a lot of care has gone into its development and while there's room for expansion, it's already a lot of fun to play. Fans of the genre will enjoy the experience as it has some fresh takes on later stages. The game ran without issues on Linux.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Runs very well on the Steam Deck!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was excited to see another Online Co-op Suvivorlike, but I was highly disappointed with their take on it. Store page makes the game look better than it is. There's a decent foundation here, but I must say, the execution is a sign of poor judgement, after-thoughts or the developers don't know what they want their game to be. They saw an opportunity to make this game, went for it and the execution is horrible. Keep in mind, I played Online Coop with friends. Royal Revolt Survivors feels like it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is really boring in the start. No sense of progression at all. horrible
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really nice and challenging survivors take, especially in co-op. Visuals are also a welcome change and time flies grinding through the levels and achievements together.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was so excited to see what would happen with this beloved franchise in a proper PC game, and it doesn't even slightly disappoint. This is a delightful throwback to an old school kind of game that was nothing but fun, but does it with excellent and modern style. Going to binge this all weekend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the demo and was hooked on the game mechanics & design which are central for my taste meaning: The game needs to put you in state of constant urgency in every sense which Royal Revolt Survivors does in an exceptional way. Best one of the survivor type games I have played so far: Def. recommend this one especially if you don't want to be pampered and jump right into playing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First, let me start with saying this game is a genuinely good time. If you like survivor likes/bullet heavens or whatever you want to call the genre, you should like this game. Plus it has co op which seems pretty rare. However, there is one thing that is preventing me from recommending this game currently. That being, if you alt tab for whatever reason when you tab back into the game it will act as if you have a controller plugged in(whether you do or not) and will override your controls and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I may be biased being an almost exclusively Single Player player, but the game is solid for what you pay. Runs smooth and is fairly straight forward with the mechanics, so if you're used to Roguelikes then you can just jump right in without having to relearn anything. All in all, it's a solid 8/10. Worth the purchase, imo.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Slow ramp up to start but very rewarding once you spend a few hours and unlock some stuff. The game really opens up when you can combine your weapons and trinkets to enhance their attacks. Definitely best with friends. Playing together and sharing a screen makes you work together and makes the payoff sweeter. Can't go wrong at this price for a fun coop game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very solid survivors clone. It seems very bland and generic in the beginning, with weapons being 100% clones of other titles. But after about 2.5 hours, once you beat the 2nd map twice, you start unlocking more interesting stuff. There are some mild alterations to the genre typical gameloop, e.g., it's more important to run around all the time to open chests, some of the later maps have a dedicated quest or things to interact with, and to evolve a weapon you need books of certain colors,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoy the game and it seems pretty fun, but at least for me and my friends we really need a setting for each person to have their own camera. Having to stay on one camera ends up leading to some frustration for us. Maybe that isn't a problem for the community at large though. I'm really enjoying it single player.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recommend just because of the price and that I can see myself playing this more. The game is in early access when writing this review so I'm looking forward too seeing more. I play a lot of roguelikes and I always look at what makes the game unique, what makes it stand out from the rest of the roguelikes that I play. It needs something that makes it stand out and makes you go "Oh, cool." The co-op is probably what stands out the most in this game, unfortunately I haven't played co-op so I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Surprisingly great
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Royal Revolt Survivors is fast-paced co-op action. Fight with friends, level up your skills, and survive magical hordes. Super addictive and perfect for quick sessions! ⚔👑🔥
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[UPDATED REVIEW] The game is WAY more complex than it seems in the first map! Each map has its own twist that makes it more complex than just "kill everything that moves", i'm REALLY enjoying it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good fun. Makes worth replaying to power up, unlock characters and unlock skills or weapons. And as rogue lites go, can get some really fun builds and synergies going.. when RNG lucky.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I usually don't like bullet hell like games and I usually don't like cute games. Usually. And there is nothing cuter like this satyr playing his lute. It is fun and no matter how big your abilities, spells and projectiles are and how many mobs you have on the screen, it always runs smooth (Playing on CachyOS). Tons of abilities, rerolls. I think this is well done for early access.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun and chill game. So far I felt like I unlocked something new after almost every run. There isnt as much variety between runs as I have seen in other survivors games (limited, not randomized maps and smaller build-variety) but thats probably an early-access thing. Excited to see more content further down the line :) Definitely worth the price imo (Ive only played solo, Id imagine its more fun with friends)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really nice and polished survivors-like with great depth, especially in later stages of the game. Particularly at this price, it's a no-brainer to pick up and have some fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seriously polished game for early access. Alot of fun. So much content and so many unlocks. Grinding endless runs is fun as well. Everything feels rewarding and best of all its co-op.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Warning: Highly addictive! The game plays even better now than it already did in the beta. very nice game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of content for day one early access. Seems like a complete game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dopamine fix for under $10. I like how there are different type of stages and styles. Also a huge plus for me in any Survivor is an endless mode so Kudos. 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its actually pretty good for being in early access. Have a couple friends pick it up, it would be great co-op.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Endless hours of fun. My 7 year old and I play. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game to kill time. Surprisingly a battery drainer though, so watch out if you’re playing on a steam deck
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Royal Revolt Survivors, developed by Team Warriors and published by Headup, takes the increasingly familiar “Survivors-like” formula and reshapes it with a stronger emphasis on character identity, cooperative play, and structured progression. While it clearly draws inspiration from genre staples where players survive escalating enemy waves while building power through upgrades, it distinguishes itself by tying the action into the broader Royal Revolt universe and giving each playable hero a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like “survivors” style games and this wonderful art style clicks with you, you will enjoy this game. It’s not the most innovative game in the genre, but it has smooth gameplay, some variety in level types, plenty of stuff to unlock, and (in my opinion) a fantastic art direction. It’s a steal for the price, even at full retail.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game seems like it has potential, but for some weird reason, when playing multiplayer on multiple devices and accounts, players are stuck on the same screen. It makes the game feel unplayable for multiplayer when the enemies start to really swarm. I think I'll put it down until they fix this issue.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game hits me right in the smash smash feels, with no pay wall and over grind. So much potential.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →every level is a 20 minute slog, needs to be half the time otherwise ok
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such wasted potential. Epitome of a Mickey Mouse survivors game. Almost as fun as doing laundry.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty decent survivor-like with some great co-op fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is pretty fun.. however once you beaten all the maps and unlock most of the quest for enchant and skills. theres not much of a replayability.. it is pretty fun for the first 12 hours though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Royal Revolt Survivors is a lot of fun — and it just keeps getting better the more you play. At first, it seems like another “survivor-like” with a familiar loop: pick a hero, survive waves, collect gold. But after a few runs and some unlocks, everything starts to click. The progression system is what really pulls you in — new characters, abilities, and passives open up quickly, and every little improvement makes the next run more exciting. The early stages are enjoyable, but the real magic…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. The progression and character/ability unlocks keep things fresh, and difficulty scales up nicely.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game, its fun and I love playing local multiplayer games!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Vampire Survivors with 3D models. Easily lose a day doing "just one more run".
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Designed and crafted beautifully. ❤️
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, looking forward to playing more! For the future some more warriors would be very nice, especially a classic traditional knight in armor that we know and love, but since the game ist still in early access and getting developed the devs shouldnt rush anything. I see great potential in this being a very replayable comfort game. One thing that I would like seeing getting a change would be the weapon upgrades, it'd be more interesting, if they were all randomized and not exactly the…
