Don't get me wrong, I used to absolutely ADORE this game when I was younger, and decided to splurge and buy it for myself - and it won't open properly. It's glitched out so that I can only see the bottom right 2/3 of the screen, can't get it to go full screen, and cant click on any buttons other than the exit button. To have the deluxe version of this game via Steam is a dream re-lived 16 years later. I thoroughly enjoy this game and its a great past time. negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game with all of my heart, but it CONSTANTLY freezes with this new version, The Platinum version works flawlessly on my old laptop, but my big rig PC can't make more than 2 rides without completely freezing and making me have to Alt+Tab out of it. From there, I can click back into it and get maybe another 3 minutes before another freeze happens, takes about a minute per freeze to be able to play again.

The storymode is way more attractive and easy then the rct 1 and 2 games, and it is more user friendly. Every aspect of this game is just a masterpiece and I love every second of it. The fact that you can accomplish being a tycoon master and the easy park system makes it so attractive. It's easy to build rollercoasters in this game, and the gameplay is user friendly also.

I played RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 when I was a kid and it was great, but this version is just too much. The menus make no sense. On top of that, you even have to manually open your burger shop after placing it. It’s ridiculous.
