This title primarily focuses on boss battles but also tries implementing some platforming as well, similar to Cuphead but in a more traditional beat ‘em up fashion. However, the experience I had with Redneck Ed was extremely frustrating and annoying to say the least. ✔️Pros • Each…

Redneck Ed: Astro Monsters Show ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Redneck Ed: Astro Master Show takes place in a fantasy universe where aliens abduct people, creatures, and beings to make them fight for their amusement. A fascinating story concept, which would be a waste if the gameplay wasn’t up to it; luckily it is. The gameplay is simple with a fun level progression…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disclaimer: A copy of this game was provided by the developer. Redneck Ed: Astro Monsters Show is an arcade fighting platformer arena game. The game nails the cartoonish graphics and animations. This is the one thing I can't complain about. The music is good, but sound effects are missing for certain actions leaving you unsatisfied. Sometimes both music and sounds bug out and restart after a few seconds. There's 15 arena levels to choose from, each having 3 difficulties with 2 challenges per…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITSzPV-9oc4 A goofy and and action packed beat em up game where you go through a bunch of boss fights. A strange and fun story of a redneck mechanic who randomly gets their face ripped off by a little girl and then taken to a show where you compete and fight monsters. The gameplay and controls are nice and simple enough to learn with your movesets of light and hard attack combos mixing with jumping and dodging in between. The highlight of the game is the visuals…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Redneck Ed: Astro Monsters Show brings humour to the fighting games genre. There are 4 floors with some monsters to fight and there is a 5th floor which I think contains a big boss. Each monster has 3 difficulty modes. And with each difficulty mode the monster has other fight techniques. Your personage can earn points which could be used to learn new skills, superpowers, items to use in battle or get more health. There are also 'minigames' where you need the end of a parcours. This is a…

Oddly interesting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Jesus F*cking Christ! What kind of horrible abomination is this? Is this game for real? Or, I think real question here is; is this f*cking turd a videogame? I have played some bad games in my life but never have played a game that gave me physical pain from playing just in 20 minutes. Art style is nice and that's it. Other than that this f*cking donkey sh*t doesn't have a single redeeming quality. - Character movement is f*cked up beyond belief. Dodging small things near impossible -…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Could have been better. Don't let your expectations fool you. Animations look good, but controls are clunky and unresponsive. It's not comfortable to play this game. Overall the game feels exactly like games that were made in Flash in early 2000s. I hope that developers keep on gaining experience in order to create better, polished games in the future.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Everything about the game when it starts points to a fantastic game. But the clunky and unrealiable moves spoil it all. With fun stages all built around reacting quick to enemies and enviroment, controls that doesnt feel responsive enough simply kill the fun.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is kinda weird but definitely fun. Love the soundtrack and art style. I have to warn you, it is super hardcore and you will die all the time. If you like challenging games this one is for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good music, nice art style, silly story but unfortunately ruined by the fact that it's frustrating and not in a fun motivating way. Like I want to like the game and there are elements that I do enjoy (Again, good music, art style, story.) but i just can't get past the issues it has. The difficult curb is more of a wall than a curb that you have to run into repeatedly to try and climb with slowly dished out upgrades/tools. Also the controls and abilities are klutzy. I've had issues where the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good idea, bad implementation. Just to buggy. I'd ask for a refund if it wasn't too late. Might be good when fixed, but the controls are super clunky and game bugs in a lot of places.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty good funny artwork and... that's it. 20mn in it and ok. you get the overall quality. Repetitive, not interesting fights. Slow controls responses. Feels heavy and clunky. No voices or any jingles sounds for an intergalactic TV show story line. Only poor moves and strikes sounds on top of an average music. High price for what it is if not on sales like today 90% off. If you hesitate then don't anymore and get something else. Even if it is on sales. I would not play it even if it was free.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →boss rush beat ‘em up - cool cartoony graphics, funny script and challenging gameplay. Farm for likes to upgrade and buy new cards to make battles easier as you try to win your face back... https://youtu.be/FH7Bax-3Zoc
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the animation and the music, but it is somewhat mediocre on every other level.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Redneck Ed: Astro Monsters Show is an action-packed beat ‘em up developed by Rustic Fantastic and published by 101XP. Blending arcade-style combat, platforming challenges, puzzle mechanics, and a wildly imaginative science-fiction setting, the game delivers an experience that feels unlike most modern brawlers. It embraces absurdity from the very beginning, throwing players into a colorful intergalactic spectacle where survival depends on fighting through dangerous arenas while unraveling a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →☐ yes i bought this game year ago. i had paid the high price for this beautiful art work, ☐ this game has quite nice good music ☐ colors and drawings with graphics are amazing ☐ all the designs and mechanics are spectacular ☐ there are little bugs that i had faced in starting and in the game also ☐ play through of the game is little bit difficult ☐ key binding is very tough to be honest. if you want to buy this game. ok sure buy it. but when its on half price. because the game developer already…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun at first but the game has a lot of small bugs that lower the impression from the game. Another thing are the arenas. Often I don't understand what I'm required to do to get the gold or even the silver medal. The movment of the character is strange making dodging almost impossible. The only thing holding the game from total imbalance is the air dash that makes the character invulnerable. I played a game named Grime recently. It's a little similar to Redneck Ed in regard of battle…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shadows die twice...or thrice or a little more... I bought the game by following the friend's advice, and from his word this game will cause burn me pretty badly no worse than after playing Dark Souls 1-2 or Dead Cells, although initially, I did not expect anything from the game. God, how wrong I was. In the second hour, I was playing the game trying to just complete the stages, not to mention fulfilling the side conditions to get the 3-star. The game in terms of gameplay and performance made…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2x Pain, 0.5x Pleasure. Wrong ingredients. Everything is great except for the gameplay which results in many cheap deaths due to inadequate controls and combo-locks, which paired with annoyingly high enemy life makes the game barely playable. If the game were easier I am sure this game would be popular, as it is you can see why it isn't. You just can't make a punishing game if the game is not responsive enough, the enemies are annoying which makes fights last longer and even more painful when…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought for the clearly excellent music and animation. I'd have been on it sooner were it a full platformer, rather than an arena fighter. But happily it's very witty and enjoyable - thumbs up :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WoW. This game completely took me to my childhood when I was playing in those arcade machines and I just kept inserting coins (I used to lose alot ahah). It has fun mechanics, the battles are interesting and the story is funny. What I really enjoyed is the soundtrack of the battles. On the other hand, I found the game extremely difficult and I would like to know more about the story of ED (the main character) A good bargain for the price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun in its primordial state. Pure and brutal.Music and art-style need a completely different topic to discuss them fully.Music is addictive and you are going to wake up with it, still playing in your head, and the art and the plot of the game deserve it's own insane cartoon.Difficulty growing with Ed, the higher and more popular he and you became in this Astro Arena, the more difficult it became to go further and return your own face. The Game is unforgiving, for the player as much as for…
