This fixes what I consider to be the worst technical issue with the game. There are still some menu bugs and graphical glitches, but those are only minor issues. EDIT 2: The recent update has also fixed various other bugs with the game and informed the player where to get the WMC9 codec. If this piece of prehistoric Russian junk is on steam - there is no excuse for every other game not to be in here. That being said it is surprisingly fun. Whatever I've been told then that this game is horrible is not true. It is actually fun, and the story is most original. Find me another game that has Dajjal as the last boss I dare you. Buy it. It's worth it.

The physics and graphics were decent for its time, but the game itself bored me. Positive note is that it can be finished really quickly. The most of the development time must've been spent on tech and not the game itself.

I'd recommend enabling console and setting FOV to 89 - that's the highest you can go without inverting the screen. In hindsight, I wish I found a way to turn off auto aim. In-game settings were broken for me but I bet you can fix it through an ini or cfg somewhere. All in all - a decent 5 hour journey if you're into games from this era! Mildly non-linear level design is nice, too!

The game is very buggy, but at least the combat is pretty fun. Albeit it is quite simplistic. The cutscenes are hilarious, with some "quality" voice acting. Pirate Hunter is not a good game, but it is also not a frustratingly bad one either. Best enjoyed with a few beers. I was entertained, so I will recommend it. But only at a deep, deep sale. 3/5

Can you guess which one? That's right! It's Pirate Hunter! If you can stomach jank, this is some of the best on offer. Make sure to open the config file and turn off autoaim for the true Pirate Hunter experience. Should I say more? Probably. Will I? No.

It never came to be. Mainly due to being an overwhelming amount of work, hah.
