positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I should've looked at the reviews before i purchased. I bought it because steam sale + bundle with the first one sale. Someone else said "traded gameplay for graphics" and they're completely right. Everything they did right in the first one, they spit in its face and ignored it. You liked the traps? Well now it's 90% items that blend into the rest of the map and no instruction on how to use them. You liked shortcuts? Well now you get MAYBE one that takes you to an area that you can turn a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first, I didn't understand why so many people disliked this game. But by the time I was 'finished' and cleaning up with achievements. I really understood. The game feels very unfinished. The story feels all over the place and is really confusing, nothing like the first game which was very clear in it's story and goals. One major issue is a bug with the workshop menu that only allows you to go back to the main menu and not select anything. This causes three achievements to be completely…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another game like the first where you roll into a map and try to kill a bunch of people at party. Has a bunch of selectable characters, and there are actually victory conditions in this one that will let you finish a map without necessarily killing everyone (though that is still an option.) But despite feeling a bit smoother and offering new powers like a vision mode that highlights objects on the map or an AOE attack around the killer, the game feels sloppier than the first one. There's items…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately, there's a difference between difficult, and BS. Getting spotted because you killed somebody in the middle of a room? Difficult. Getting spotted through a solid wall while killing somebody in a small office? BS. The concept of the game is amazing, however, the execution, story, and voice-acting, could all use some polish.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What were they thinking? Seeing all the unanswered bug reports and harsh reviews, I was not in a hurry to buy this game. Even after getting it on a huge discount, I struggle to see the value in this purchase. Coming from the first Party Hard game, the sequel is a major failure on nearly all fronts. The 2D pixel aesthetic was shoved into three-dimensional space, greatly reducing the readability and somehow tanking the game's performance. The levels are now much larger, too large to fit…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a dissapointment, sadly this game didn't stick the landing for me. The music is great, and unlike other people, I don't mind the new artstyle. What I do mind is how awful the new level design is,huuuuge levels that take ages just to go from one side to the other, people can call the authorities from anywhere now, and avoiding police is almost impossible. Don't even get me started on the bugs. The story also started interestingly but got very dumb towards the end.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →they traded gameplay for graphics.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Police are omnipotent and beeline to where you are at all times.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its alright but it doesn't really improve upon much from the first game. It also feels quite clunky, sometimes I would kill an enemy that could arrest me but the arrest still processed even though the character died, ending the game. Most of the time the still frame cutscenes dont register and all I hear is audio and all I see is subtitles on a black screen. The amount of levels are actually quite minimal, there are different characters but theres less than 10 levels and I completed all of them…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay is deeply unsatisfying in this game. I've played the first game plenty of times and it's just better. The one complaint I haven't seen in the reviews I've read yet is that the NPC's don't behave in a way that makes some of the objectives even feel possible at times. For instance, in one mission you're at a small hideout for bikers and if you choose not to kill everyone, then you only have to kill 5 targets. But at least 2 of them stood right in the middle of a crowd the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This sequel is just a new coat of paint on an already flawed game. Very disappointing. My main criticism of the original game was that it was more style over substance. The gameplay loop, unreliable mechanics and very clunky controls killed that game for me. Sadly nothing was learnt, instead the devs went all in on the style over substance approach! The pixel art along with the music has always been the main selling point of these games. Going into 3D meant that the beautiful 2D pixel…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first game had a very simple premise and some challenging levels. This game is a struggle from the get go and doesn't really feel like a sequel as much as a random insert with the same title. Feels too much like a stealth game the further you get into the game which is bizarre considering your supposed to be the 'party' hard killer. turning up at chemical plants and sneaking about is just out of character for the character you play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a big disappointment and terrible sequel. Constant bugs and awful level design here and there really ruined this game for me. Do not buy it unless you like softlocks because some objectives may literally become unachievable because of bugs, getting seen through walls, reported/arrested for nothing, oh, and did I mention that for some reasons, npcs WILL "magically" go to places you hide your victim's bodies for literally no reason even when you hide them in a spot where they usually…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →FIRST ONE IS SO MUCH BETTER
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea of it is unpleasant. The controls are unpleasant. The goals for each stage are unpleasant. The story is not worth sitting through. The mechanics are unpleasant. The bugs are unpleasant. The variety is smoke and mirrors. This game was unpleasant. 1.5/5
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay, look. The game is actually really fun. It's basically a sequel of the original Party Hard, but with 3D environments and a heap more ways of killing targets. In fact, it plays like a top-down Hitman game pretty well. I just have this one REALLY awful annoyance. All of the posters and artwork inside of the game are clearly AI generated, and it's super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy. I will downvote ANY game that contains unlabelled AI artwork, especially when it's BAD AI artwork, and even more so when…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What is this game? Party Hard 2 is a direct sequel to Party Hard - a game in which you murder everyone at various parties, because they're keeping you up at night. This via use of traps, stealth, and brutal stabbing. Price/replay value Horrible - Bad - Decent - Good - Amazing Achievement hunting Most of them are for doing various obscure tasks, which the player cannot know about unless looking them up specifically. The rest is for basic stuff like killing 5 people in a row. (Doable via…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →how did you manage to make a worse game from the first one
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good time by the end, story is a bit meh but it makes up for it in gameplay. clever traps, great art-style, AMAZING soundtrack(I mean really, wow) and somehow you aren't captured by the FBI after the first level. Recommended unless you have a real life bloodlust, in that case go play Bee Swarm Simulator(idk I heard its pretty peaceful)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sick and tired of the death screen, all I want to do is play, and I have to sit and wait till the time played is shown. I want to skip this crap and not wait till it shows I played for like X amount of minutes/hrs on 1 map. Add a skip option so people don't have to wait till it's done. Also getting buster for a cop car running over me and someone else and killing them, a pain in the arse.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nothing like the original, full of glitches, soft locking in some levels and lots of technical problems. Also fewer ways to kill and fewer characters. A dissapointment.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun, just like the first game. Music and massacres are great. Worth a try.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really was into the first opus. I loved its story, its gameplay, its arcade die-and-retry package and the light adrenaline feeling whan you manage to master the game and combo-kill many characters without being caught. Unfortunately some of the flaws of the first game did not change from an inch in this one, as the aiming system. In 'Party Hard 2' you can throw objects but without any decent aiming system you often miss your shot and end up wasting a precious move. If the knife aiming was…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Far too difficult and punishing of a game with absolutely no checkpoints. Its not fun to die/get arrested over and over and over again, having to restart a level I spent 15-30 minutes on from the START. This game wastes my time and I have no interest in games that do not respect that.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is fine if you are bored but it is overpriced and it is buggy as hell.. once you finish it once you will likely not play it again
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought the first game was better, but this one is still not bad. It runs quite well on the Steam Deck. The levels have some variation in terms of missions. Getting all the achievements is relatively time-consuming, but not impossible. 6/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Irritating story, tedious gameplay. The idea of having a clear storyline through levels is nice, but I wasn't a fan of the story itself. I actually like playing messed up games as messed up protagonists, but the story presents the guy as this suffering anti-hero battling an evil drug company and the psychiatrist who manipulated him. I much preferred the minimal justification from the first game where the guy's homicidal hatred of all things party-related is influenced by noise pollution,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hard to say that this one's an improvement over the first one... Art style is definitely better, soundtracks are good, maps are... ok? It's definitely harder though. First of all, it's nearly impossible to outrun the cops. They are faster so forget about escaping on foot. Only method here is spamming the shortcuts and pray that they don't camp near the tunnels. First game did this system better. A lot of gadgets, better interactive environment and being able to drive vehicles are some of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun game, and I do think it's a solid follow up from the previous game. However, it still feels very... unpolished. There basically no explanation about the items - what do they do or even how to use them. There are "rewards" for some achievements, but no explanation of what you won or where did it go. It has the feel of a newly released game, straight out of beta - except that it has been 8 years since the release, and so I have no expectations that they will ever come back to update…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The charm party hard 1 has is simply not here. The new voxel style is cool but ill fitted. Same goes for the new gameplay mechanics, in that the first game was meant to be a casual simplistic game which was reliant on level design more than overcomplicated time wasting mechanics. This game added crafting. This game added vehicles. There are an abundance of these new things, and a lack of the fun things like traps and escape paths. Those are barely in here. I also preferred the first games…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →aint no party like the diddy party
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first game was amazing in coop, and had a genuinely great time getting all of the achievements. But this one... oh boy... Some of the ideas are good, but the executions are terrible... Achievements are disabled in coop. Wtf do you mean? Bonus joke: you can get them while playing on workshop maps solo... The interactions are buggy, and sometimes completely broken, and you get no explanations what you're doing with them. You can also control vehicles, like bikes and forklifts... except the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2026: I tried once again, holy sh*t this game is glitchy and bugged. I can't believe how trashy the game becomes each level completed. AT THE TIME I'M WRITING THIS REVIEW I PAUSED THE GAME AND IT UNPAUSED ITSELF (AT LEAST THE MUSIC) AND EVERY 5 SECONDS IT BLASTS DIFFERENT SOUNDTRACK TO MY EARS. THIS GAME IS SO RANDOMLY BUGGED I'M LOOSING MY MIND. Coming back to topic, I started dancing and OUT OF NOWHERE an NPC decided to alarm the cops on me even tho there was no evidence of me or standing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →miserably frustrating gameplay, the original was fun even if you got caught. but somehow this game has managed to ruin it. each level has a very long to do list, but if you mess up even a tiny bit you have to start from scratch entirely! i keep coming so close to finishing a level only for some random gaurd to come out of the woodwork and kill me in one hit. surprise now your doing all of that work all over again.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worse version of the first. I tried to revisit this game after launch and its still just as janky as it was on launch, Achievements don't work half the time, you'll be seen through walls that don't align properly, and there's nothing really new. The levels are wide open rooms with little chances for you to do anything meaningful without waiting 10-15 mins. Traded all the good things from the first and just threw in the trash for a brighter detailed version.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Actually impossible to enjoy, cops see you its gg, terminators see you its gg. they have unlimited stam, faster than you, and do not give up. makes it unfun and makes me go back to party hard 1. shame
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even better killing teenagers simulator :>
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →first game was better
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →after all this time, the game is still to buggy to do all the achievements...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First one is much better as its simple, this one has a bit too much going on.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really boring and annoying compared to the first game, the better graphics don't compensate for the lack of funny things
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed the first Party Hard entry, and I also enjoyed this one, but it takes a bit of a different approach. - There are now multiple ways to win a level, either by killing everyone, or killing certain targets and doing some other tasks - You can manage your weapons better and even combine them. Unfortunately combining them doesn't make them much better and is only useful in certain scenarios, and it's typically luck if you get the right items to combine - Traps are a bit harder to use -…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is a nice concept, could be better. a lot of hard and kinda unclarified levels, you can get soft locked in levels. also, there is an extreme lag issue with this game? sometimes you will get a straight lag spike of 5 seconds? this literally shouldn't be happening in a game this simple. super unoptimized, in a moronic way
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too difficult. Really enjoyed the first game, which had the right blend of challenge, trial-and-error, and fun. But this is just an exercise in frustration.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like the first one couldnt get into the second one
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly I'm disappointed in the second game. Not because it's a harder game than the first, but because it lacks that spark that I felt in the first one. It has some nice improvements like the graphics, the crafting and the vehicles, but it also has some really annoying stuff like the fact without the tunnels (or other things like a stun grenade), you cannot escape the police. The story started really interesting, but got weird and boring at the end. [Overall score: 6.5/10]
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Expected so much more from the second game. Sad day:(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Вот эта вечеринка реально отстой
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The second game is far better than the first recording gameplay and story. It’s inexpensive and short.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not that bad, it's similar to the first one, but if I would have to choose I'd choose the first one, the story and the gameplay even the soundtrack was better in the first one imo. This one was just... "meh" nothing too impressive, the ending is a bit disappointing overall 6.7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Piece of ♥♥♥♥ trash, full of bugs and the AI constantly report you to the police even though they not even saw you do anything.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's something genuinely cathartic about sneaking around and murdering people. While the game is violent, the pixel graphics keep it more on the light side and it becomes more about tactics and stealth than blood and gore.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first game had a lot of problems and while the sequel addresses a few of them it also introduces more problems, many of which are bugs The facelift to the presentation and environments are welcome and they add some new mechanics like different item combos but it's terribly explained and even simple stuff like using items properly you'll have to dive into the options to figure out. By instinct you'll think I've got the knife equipped > to use the knife I press E, if I switch to another item…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While it doesn't have the charm of the original Party Hard, the game is still fun but there are some stuff that should have been improved considering this is a sequel. The cops AI is bad, basically if a body is reported sometimes they would magically guess that it was you and just know your location, also cops are invincible and unstoppable. Coop is fun but with the invincible cops and revive timer mechanic it gets really bad when a body is found and it almost always means u have to restart.…
