It may not be a game for everyone, but it's certainly a game for someone. It offers something worth considering as a small step toward a solution or helps you take a few steps forward, easing your heart just a little.

YANOGA REVIEW GRAPHICS - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ Game makes a clear contrast between the reality of the protaganist and his ''dark mind'' which looks cool. Also there is some strong symbolism but after all the graphic is really spartanic and reminds me of the golden Atari Games. MUSIC - ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ Sound-Design is good and delivers an certain atmosphere but is in no way mindblowing or reconizable. STORY Well....... this one is really difficult. The Story is only 20 Minutes long and while playing I…

It's a walking simulator where you talk with Silent Hill monsters, learn what they represent, and then move on with your life. This would've worked fine as generic seasoning on an actual game but as is it's so fast and shallow. You walk up to a monster and he's like "It's all my fault!!!!!!... Btw, I represent guilt. Peace out, bro." Repeat that 16 times twice and your crippling depression is cured. THE END. First time playthrough: 15 minutes 5/10

Keep in Mind: Remastered is a slightly upscaled version of a title that was originally released on Game Jolt. The rework include a new engine, professionally composed soundtrack, and some bug fixes. You should go into this release knowing that a playthrough only lasts 10-20 minutes, and there is no incentive for replaying it. You take control of a man named Jonas, who has been torn apart by depression, which led him to alcoholism. His life and his marriage are all starting to come unravelled…

meh 32 sentences of depression 10 minutes of game play its cheap but overall short and lazy it could have been cool its like the opening to a story with nothing to it you walk around and talk to your "inner demons" which is a cool idea but literally this is 10 minutes of reading. 2/10

I wish this game was more. But it's a very surface level, stripped down view of a much harder struggle. It's very, very on the nose, yet it doesn't seem to be aware of that fact. I've struggled with depression, anxiety, a lot of mental illnesses that my early life trauma left me. This game feels. Disrespectful to how difficult recovering can be. To what the thoughts are actually like. I really wanted to like this game but. There's nothing here. I'm happy for the people who seem to find more…

Even at this very low price, I cannot recommend this game. Gameplay is non existent, you walk around an area until you've talked to every NPC, then you talk to a few more and the game ends. The story intentions are good, but it's all so quick that you cannot get invested in it before the game ends. The game's message could touch some people that face these struggles in their life, but in the end it feels like a very low quality flash game.

Deep feelings. Story: You play as Jonas. Every night you go to sleep drunk, so drunk that you cannot muster a single word to your wife. One night you wake up in a nightmarish world with grotesque creatures that seem to know you, as you explore the world you find out more about yourself than you can ever imagine. The story is short so I'll keep this brief. It's a very interesting story and the finale does pack a decent emotional punch, however I feel it's still a very by the numbers attempt…

It's difficult to complain about what you get in a game that's so cheap, but I think the story is just generally poor at what it tries to do. It's a very shallow take on mental illness that doesn't *actually* have anything to say.

Mind boggling, deeply enticing, amazingly deep and philosophical, with graphics on par with Control Ultimate Edition, and with as much content as Final Fantasy XV. You could easily spend 400+ hours on it. NOT!!!!!! First of all it took me 7 minutes to finish this game. BUT I don't have any real issue with the length if it could indeed deliver a quality product within that time. However, this game looks like it was written in an EXTREME HURRY. Games are supposed to be made as a labor of…

It's a surprisingly short game about an alcoholic man with mental illness called Jonas who's fighting his sixteen inner demons and eventually winning. It would've been nice if there were more to interact with, only being able to speak to the demons makes the game feel slightly rushed. I'd recommend getting it on 50%+ off. It's emotional game, but too short and bare to have a lasting impact.

The atmosphere is surreal, and suffocating. The world feels like a dream you shouldn’t be in, and the soundtrack adds a steady drip of dread to every step. The demons are the real highlight: no jump-scares, no loud threats - just quiet, unsettling reflections of the things you'd rather avoid thinking about at 3 AM. They don’t try to frighten you - they recognize you.. and that familiarity is far more disturbing. The game is extremely short, but it lands with weight. If you’ve ever lived with…

Wont lie, it made me cry. "You were love once, and you still are." Bro. Sobbing. Its definitely a game targeting a specific audience and I think it does well trying to reach out to them. The sound design was top tier also love the designs of the lil creatures. I do wish it was longer tho, make it so that there were multiple acts of the game one with the contents of the game, the next one focusing on the recovery, and maybe like a short epilogue where Jonas gets through it. Showing that hes…

i feel rather conflicted about this game. it has plenty of potential and the graphics look pretty fascinating. it seems to be a game about intrusive thoughts, from what i get from it. however, i feel as if the game being short denounces the appeal. short games can be enjoyable, yes, but it doesn't feel like it goes into depth on why the main character feels the grief he does. we get vague explanations of it, but does he think it's his fault, truly? or did he actually do something? however, i…

This game doesn't really have a reason to be a game, since there's just no gameplay. It would work better as an illustrated book or something, although the visuals aren't that good. I assume it's supposed to look like a child's drawing, but it doesn't really work either. You can make something minimalist and yet more evocative or appealing. The texts are the only interesting part, but there's not much to find there either. As a free experiment on Itch I would understand. Actually, if it's…

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…

Honestly, this is probably the shortest horror game I've ever played or seen. However, besides its unfortunate duration, I can't deny that the game has a great aesthetic, that is composed of a very dark and abandoned setting and unsettling characters. I just think that the game could've been much more interesting if we had a few more interactions with these already horrifying and unique characters or maybe some more development in the real-world scenario. It's dark topic. It's a 5-10 minute novel-like game. There are 16 negative feelings/emotions in the dark, you are supposed to listen to their problems and go back to your wife again. I would say, the things that the shadow monsters say are is the most important take away/gist of the game. The profit earned from the game are donated to Child's Play Charity. It's a small donation. Treat this purchase as a donation that comes with a short story.

Keep in Mind strikes me almost as a short broadcast, cast out into the world with the aim to transmit a well-intentioned message of advice for anyone that needs it. It’s more a short experience than an actual game, and these kinds of things won’t land with everyone. It’s far from perfect, but if it can reach even just one person who in that moment is reassured or enlightened by its message, it’s worth it existing. On the store page’s description it says: This game was created for those who…

This game could have benefited from being a lot longer. I think that criticism gets levelled at too many games, so I'll elaborate on why I mean it here: there were so many facets of this character which the game wanted to foreground that it was impossible to cover them all in a memorable way in the 15 minute playtime. There are 16 other characters you have to seek out and all of them have interesting sprites and text, but I could tell I was meant to remember them a lot better than I actually…

"Keep in Mind: Remastered" is a short, very badly made 2D retro pixel top down "walking simulator", but really more of an e-book, where you move between lengthy discussions with your 2D retro pixel "demons" who are concerned with your alcohol and depression problems. Apparently this is a remaster, which makes me wonder, given how absolutely godawful this is, just how much worse the original was. Or maybe we don't want to know. I sure don't. The writing is very immature and shallow. It is way too unclear where you can go and where you can't, you can only see by trial and error. It was also unclear what was interactable and what wasn't. You could press space to interact with the door to your own house, but not with any other door. The characters were placed way too far away from each other. There is no gameplay. The pixel animations are nice. It's a truly shame... It's a good idea to develop a game that can hit you hard emotionally and leave you thinking about life and the mistakes we make, but it didn't work in this game. We are talking about a game that lasts 15 minutes (even going to pee during the game) interacting with 16 internal demons of the protagonist. NOTHING ELSE (trust me, it's just that).
