Play as a psychopath and kill those annoying college students who won't let you sleep. Very effective pixel art and a cool soundtrack. It's a pitty they changed the original menu music because it sounded too much like Daft Punk :') Si te gusta el terror, la música y tienes sentido del humor, este es un muy buen juego de sigilo en el que además tú eres el asesino. Juega a…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Party Hard is a social stealth game that really kinda suffers from being stiff. It's pretty clearly inspired thematically by Hotline Miami, but don't be fooled, it offers a lot less action, and a lot more tedium. Each stage basically has a few safe areas you're expected to skulk around while waiting for victims to approach, and it truly gets dull after a while. Still, it gave me 20 hours of playtime, so it wasn't all bad.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For $2 I guess it's not bad. Most of the gameplay is just waiting for people to wander into the secluded areas. Using the traps gets you spotted much easier, and since each level takes a while to clear it's not worth risking it. It's not always clear how someone figures out you're the killer, and the stamina bar is absurdly short. The most effective way to clear a level happens to be the most boring. There are also hardly any sound effects, it's mostly just the music track looping and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fine enough, it just has a lot of little issues that slowly pile up as you play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Blasting music, pixel art chaos, and the satisfying puzzle of figuring out which trap to trigger first. The stealth mechanics are genuinely clever once you stop fighting the slow movement speed and start working with it, and each level feels like a fresh puzzle since the traps change things up completely. That said, the RNG can be infuriating: you can run a near-perfect level and still get spotted by some civilian sprinting across the map for no reason, or have a cop glitch into a wall and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Frustrating mess due to limited options, sloooow movement and being left with the sensation that you beat the level by random chance than any real strategy
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PARTY HARD tl;dr Rating: 3/10 Clear Time: 5~ hours 100% Time: 8~ hours Summary: A frustrating, mind-boggling experience into a world of horrible AI, slow movement and inconsistent design but with a great soundtrack. This game ain't it chief. It really feels like the developers just didn't want you having too much fun with cool traps and sick avenues of play by also making sure the AI is some of the worst i've ever seen. NPCs can behave incredibly inconsistently, sometimes attacking…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, buggy, gory, mean spirited killing spree game. Kind of brings to mind Postal 1 or even Damage on Amiga. Party Hard starts off super fun and creative, but quickly becomes repetitive. I might be missing a key strategy, but I beat the game mostly by hanging around in alleys where I could hide bodies, whittling the level away little by little. It gets tedious. Overall a positive experience. Speaks to the party pooper in me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really think there is a good game here, but the gameplay loop is not for me. The controlls fight you back at every moment and the character is annoyingly slow while the traps and the killing is fun it loses the novelty pretty fast. Maybe the second installment is better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →otro juego que viciaba de chico. Me acuerdo las tardes jugando a este juego y viendo a jugargerman jugando. Mi única queja son algunos logros que tenés que grindear bastante, pero son divertidos igual.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not bad for an indie game you might find in bundle bins. It's a good mix of stealth and slasher with really weighted combat mechanics for a 2D game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love a good slasher game. I like how the controls are set up and how you can play and replay this game over and over.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I used to play the mobile version, and I got it here with the second release, loved the gameplay it was straightforward, the story was silly but thats what makes it special, the art style along with the music gives off a brutal violent yet aesthetic retro vibes and full of neon visuals, but after all Darius just wanted to get some sleep, oh and Katie was such a baddie.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun little indie game, but too many bugs. Getting the cops called while cops are already on scene usually triggers bugs. Get busted carrying a body causes the body to freeze mid-air and just be locked up. Played whole levels for the ending score page to be blank, frozen, forcing CTRL+ALT+DEL out of game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is kinda mid as hell lmao. Like it can be fun at times, but it's held back by a lot of things. If its on sale though you should buy it, but my problems with it are - The movement and attacking in this game feel clunky, which can make it hard to run from cops and kill people at times - The story is bad. It's an overdone cliche that you can see coming from a mile away. - The voice acting is... not great. You need it on too to understand the story, though its not like you'd be missing…

unlabelledView post →This game has been a mainstay in my library for years and I find myself playing it whenever I don't feel like playing anything else. Honestly a fun game that you can play a multitude of different ways. Between the different characters available and any self-imposed challenges, you might find yourself replaying the levels more than you might think. The story is little more than a nothing burger means to push the next level that takes itself WAY too seriously for such a goofy but ultimately…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is good, but is the second one good? thumbs up this comment if no, give me an award if yes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’m generally predisposed against most stealth games, as I think most games make stealth mechanics very dull or frustrating. I think this game is a great example of why. First, to acknowledge the story. It’s more of a set piece and nothing really to dive into. Your main character wants to sleep, and the party next door is too loud so he goes and kills them all. That’s really about it. This game is not trying to take itself seriously. You have game references all over each party level and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is that.. Is that dude on fire? Look! *stab* - Fun, morbid, puzzly and satisfying (the puzzle-solving, not the murdering (... Well, kinda)).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its okay, but its not the best
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think a perennial bottom feeder would be wise to adopt Andrew W.K.’s Party Hard as a game ender as well

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All these dead bodies are ruining my party mood The thought of a blend between games as antithetic as Hitman and Hotline Miami seems... weird, to say the least. Yet here we are, with a game where you have to kill every single person on each pixelated 2D level while listening to synthwave soundtrack, but do it stealthily and use environment to create deadly traps. Does this idea even work? Well, I'd say it does... barely. In Party Hard, you play as "a guy trying to get some sleep", and…

unlabelledView post →Party Hard, developed by Pinokl Games and Kverta and published by tinyBuild, is a darkly comedic stealth-action game that takes an absurd concept and turns it into something both entertaining and surprisingly strategic. You play as a man named Darius, a sleep-deprived everyman who has had enough of the loud parties that plague his neighborhood. Instead of filing a noise complaint or buying earplugs, he chooses a more extreme solution: sneaking into parties and methodically eliminating every…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay for a cheap indie on SALE, like 50p; but if you are an achievement hoarder they're fickle to (impossible) collect to say the least; I personally wouldn't bother wasting time & effort into a game that doesn't produce the goods. The 'Play Party Hard 100 times' achievement is plain ridiculous as an example; while others just got messed up in code. IT'S BUGGED TO DEATH!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Woah 👀 this reminds me of that game that tinyBuild made called "Party Hard" 👀

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game resembles what i want to do to my neighbours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Felt tedious to play at times, especially with the FBI agents on the last level. But overall it's fun. I liked the story. You don't get the fast paced action of Hotline Miami, and that's by design; but it feels as if the developers wanted to have exactly that throughout some parts of the game which just feels retarded to have to sit and play through.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game has some challenging levels in it but its not too hard (to party)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cyberpunk is pretty much all that comes to mind for me trying to think of a time I was unhappy with a purchase. Supposedly a very good game now but the old wounds have not healed, though if my one bad experience was a game that got good later that's not bad at all. Oh I despised Party Hard.
unlabelledView post →Got this game after seeing some really cool fanart of the killer we play as, I love the music, the pixel art-style and scenery are really fun and pleasing to look at. Some levels got a little frustrating but that just made me love it even more due to loving a good challenge. I love the violence and gore a whole lot, and I will be looking forward to playing its sequel, I will most likely be drawing fanart of my own for this game! <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really entertaining strategy stealth game with cool looks and gameplay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun and the soundtrack is perfect
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have an odd feeling that this was made for bloodthirsty people.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, hits that itch of stealth clearing a whole level i get from time to time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to love this game so bad. The gameplay loop gets annoying fast. enemy ai is very buggy and your own controls are very inconsistent. The look, kills, and story of the game are great. game feels hard but not very rewarding due to how punishing it can be over one glitch or mistake making you restart. the dlc tries to add something new to the gameplay loop but it puts you into hard levels with no explanation of new mechanics and the new mechanics are very buggy and dont work half the time.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →holy overrated. for a game meant to be like a slasher it sure is annoying to play like one
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remembered this game as something better when I was younger, guess I was just blinded by nostalgia.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very solid slasher fun. It's basically a mix of an '80s horror movie and the gameplay of Hitman, except you're not bald, and instead of one target, you're supposed to take out the entire map.The artstyle and music are great, and while the story is not anything special, it is serviceable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hotline miami but cooler
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great indie game. Used to watch letsplay youtubers back in the day play this. Crazy how a cheap indie game is better than most triple A games.
