The main issue is unit effectivity. I hit an infantry unit in a town with tanks, artillery, armored cars, fighter aircraft and they didn't dent it. The game wouldn't let anything except infantry have an effect. It was only slightly better outside of town. Tiger tanks are like kittens without the mobility limits they should have. Updated drivers, tried even running a lower release of the game. turned off CUDA, Set GPU to Just below optimum settings for the game. No mods or any DLC of any kind. Just running the vanilla game. It didn't start crashing until higher levels, well past the two hour Steam refund deadline. Flasahback and Slitherne have lost my business for a long time to come.

The game has enough challenge to keep you coming back for more. If you put enough randomization into the campaign, no two play throughs will be the same. Get the base game and AO and you have hundreds or more hours of playing time available to you.

Panzer Corps 2 is a deeper, richer and more engaging cousin to the old Panzer general. The simple game mechanics underscore the enormous depth of strategy and replay value are huge factors on how good this game is. I've logged in almost 500 hours in nearly 3 months. Its addictive and I'm glad I'm hooked!
