Saved games that get corrupted, crashes, no matter how often you save you will lose your entire campaign sooner or later. There is no use playing a game that is impossible to finish. I WANT to like this game, but all the bugs and crashes forces me to not recommend it.

You are in charge of: Diplomacy, Science, Production, Logistics (Fuel, Ammo, to bases, Raw Materials from bases), Base Building, Command Structure, oh and of course fighting. If they fixed up the bugs then I would recommend it 10/10 but its almost unplayable or you have to redo the same battle 4 times.

The graphics in tactical mode are very good. Still learning "how to" play with the automation options , but at least game includes them I find it hard to "mod" the game, as I have not found good xml editor program / process yet.

The game is also extremely buggy even after all the work done with Pacific Storm (I have Pacific Storm also). I've been waiting for a patch as the game is unplayable with constant crash to desktop errors when returning from tactical mode. The support site says one was on the way out for this a few weeks ago now.

Would suggest it to others, its a blast. Interested in this game? Check out "Fleet Commander (Jane's Fleet Commander to be more specific). It is a modern day naval game, more tactical than this in my opinion.

It has some technical issues but overall very unique, especially when the game came out. And will crash there again and always after reload when you reach this point again. BTW, seems that the version they sell on steam is not a most stable one. It would be great if some crowd got it and overhauled it or even remade the the whole game with modern graphics and for modern computers, without changing the gameplay to much and all the bugs ironed out. I reckon It would be a top 10 of all time game and I think a lot of people would be prepared to pay top $ for it. I'd love to give it a good review.

This is one a game that after I wore the original disc out, found and bought it again on steam. It has an immersion you will not find very often even with current titles like Hearts of Iron. Work through the bugs and the realization this game is at least 12 years old and you'll see how much enjoyment you can get out of it.
