This converts almost any DX11 game into stereoscopic 3D! In this case, I converted the game into SBS 3D as you can see in the video. You may think that a pixel art game would not look good in glorious 3D, but you would be…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Every good decision starts with a plan. This one started with me seeing a game in my feed and buying it roughly four seconds later, which is less a plan and more a personality flaw. The cylindrical gameplay is cleverer than it has any right to be, given it's all happening on a little 2.5D plane. Experimenting with weapons and upgrades that hit across both layers actually pays off, and once you've got the ranges and angles sorted, you feel untouchable. Briefly. Enjoy it. It's fast, too, and it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recieved "Orbital Bullet" from a friend for Christmas '24. I've never seen or played this title before. My friend who gifted this to me said it was a solid game. I installed this title on my Steam Deck and really really enjoyed it! Orbital Bullet, is listed as "unsupported" on the Steam Deck. I think it's a huge mistake for the devs of this game to not persue a Steam Deck "verified" badge or at least be upgraded to "playable." It ran perfectly out of the box on the Deck. ProtonDB lists it as…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hitboxes are so abysmally bad. you can simultaneously head stomp enemies while taking a hit from that exact enemy. doesnt help half the fliers just rush you with x5 the health of any other enemy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played on Steam Deck. The Orbital gimmick of the game is unique and feels great. Visuals and Music are both on point which helps nail the feeling for the gameplay which rocks. Fits perfectly on Steam Deck which I think fits the pixel/voxel visuals better than a full sized monitor. I usually prefer strategy roguelikes to action ones but Orbital Bullet is very satisfying and fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Imagine a more compact, yet still quite intricate Dead Cells. Overall, the game offers some major bang for your buck. You can expect a ramping difficulty curve with each clear of the game, up to a tenth level of difficulty. It's noticeable, and really drives replayability. The controls and combat are tight and there is a good variety of weapons that feel distinct from one another for the most part. The pseudo-customizable skill tree that you build during your run allows for many different…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It could be a great game. Simple, fun, repetitive. But it's abandonware now, and runs poorly on the latest hardware
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool concept. It's okay. Feels pretty arcadey for a roguelite. Doesn't do enough to keep me interested.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unexpectedly Amazing!!! I got this game on a super sale thinking that if I didn't like it its pennies on the dollar. However, I am super satisfied with this game, just the idea that they didn't need a whole lot to make an amazing and entertaining game while having fun and enjoy it. The game is very simplistic, the fact that they're are platforms within the game where you have to clear enemies out on each level to progress to the next while leveling your abilities and grabbing newer weapons and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a nice aesthetic and concept, but it fails in so many ways when it comes to game design, the upgrade pools for each class are largely pointless or only serve to unlock something in the upgrade pool rather than upgrade the class you're playing. The weapon hitboxes are pretty much rolling the dice, and there are definite types of weapon that are just simply better than the rest, such as explosives. The upgrades outside of the classes are also back to front, requiring you to put…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow. I didn't expect to like Orbital Bullet that much. I got hooked from the get-go; it's so much fun, as I mentioned in my initial review. The common features you'd expect, like controls, graphics, sound, and music, are all good, but it's difficult to stand out and easy to be overlooked nowadays. However, Orbital Bullet has a lot more to offer than meets the eye. Even after 50 hours, I still learned new aspects about weapons and builds; the Eternity Tower is like a second game, with completely…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What's good: The gameplay is legit, the guns have good variety and the movement is mostly nice and clean. i tend to get locked into the ledge climbing animation when i dont mean to, but that rarely feels bad thanks to the invincibility frames during it. i enjoy the gameplay against mobs a ton What's bad: Needs a ton of quality of life tweaks. Lots of little things. Sprites are in a run animation during cutscenes. grenade throw angle is annoying and unchanging. changing enemy attack…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting roguelike, but auto popping discord invite is inacceptable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At 90% off it's a snap purchase. I played it quite a while ago and liked it a lot! It's not going to win GOTY but it kept me entertained for quite a while
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. Worth to get it on sale. Runs very well on Steam Deck!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is probably my favourite cheap game I picked up. It's engaging, fast paced, just enough depth for minor strategy. Personally I love the 360 2D platforming element, but my friend found it nauseating so be warned. I read a lot of the negative reviews. a lot focused around hit boxes which personally I've had no problem with. I think they're not seeing the small upward attack animations, some enemies do attack straight up which may cause confusion if you get hit while stomping. Also I seen…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent roguelike with the gimmick being that you travel along the edges of a cylinder instead of a flat plane. Starts off very slow, but after around two hours starts to pick up. Lots of weapon variety and decent skill variety. Grab it on a good sale if you like roguelikes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game for value. 6 Bosses in 20 hours. But you have to upgrade you tree skill to get more items and fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great core gameplay loop. Bit chaotic beyond sensibility at higher levels, but it's good. Great for Dead Cells lovers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Orbital Bullet is a unique top-down roguelike shooter that combines fast-paced combat with a rotating 360° arena, offering a fresh twist on the genre. The variety of weapons and upgrades keeps gameplay engaging, and the action is satisfying, especially when you're in the heat of battle. However, despite its innovation, the level design can feel repetitive, and some stages lack the polish needed to fully capitalize on the game's potential. It's a fun ride, but the uneven level design does hold…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple game that really punches above it's weight. Unbelievable amount of fun. Unlike a lot of other Rogue-lites: power progression actually feels meaningful and fun. Works perfectly on the steamdeck. Not sure why steam says it's not compatible.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish I was better with words for a lot of reasons. But one of them is that then I could explain why Orbital Bullet is just so damn satisfying to play. But I don't have the words, so instead I'll just recommend you give it a go for yourself.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A n early access roguevania that the dev got lazy with and never really bothered to polish before released. Just like most roguelikes. lol. THE GOOD: A ton of high octane run & gun fun with a gameplay loop that just works. Great music, good sound effects and acceptable graphics. A skill tree with meaningful impacts along with a weapons upgrade system and other goodies that get unlocked later THE BAD: Absolutely not tooltips for anything. Even worse than binding of isaac in this regard. You're…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Has a great concept. I really want to like this game, but it's just very mediocre. The only way I can describe this game is a bland pizza with no toppings. I'm just glad that it was 92% off on sale because it is definitely not worth that full price.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →surprisingly creative, criminally underappreciated
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great indie game: - Looks cool, feels smooth and is fun to play. - Weapons feel distinct and interesting. - Gameplay loop and meta upgrades are satisfying (especially the main skill tree which has distinct and impactful choices). - I enjoyed the music, which gets you pumped and makes you feel powerful. - Pacing is not bogged down by story, but the slight story artwork and environmental ambience adds to the experience. - After beating a run, you unlock overcharged runs which changes the enemies…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The grind in this game is beyond any reason and without many unlocks in the skill tree it's way too punishing, even unfair at times. BUT if you use a tool like Game Conqueror and unlock skills to your hearts desire it becomes quite fun. If your time has no value or you're willing to skip the grind than this game is quite alright. Oh, I forgot to talk about the gameplay, visuals and sound... Gameplay is ok to good (too fast and hectic for my taste). The 360 arenas don't get to shine as much…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hidden gem for sure, I wasn’t expecting much at all but it turned out to be awesome! The gimmick of the game having the rotating structure brings a lot more depth-full feel and aliveness to the game world. The controls are fluid and easily to learn, I don’t feel my time is wasted like I do with other run based games, rather that I’m making progress discovering a new world. Great game to play mobile while waiting in between locations or just have some time to kill. I think it’d do really well…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know why this says it's not supported on steam deck. Worked fine for me... I had to touch the screen once to make the menu work after I backed out of the options. Other than that it worked well, ran well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seems neat, but it opened my discord with an invite link that I *did not click* on startup.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game loop is great, it is simple and doesn't waste your time. Biggest negative is that sometimes the visual clarity of enemies and projectiles is lost, which can damage you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall, this is a fantastic game. I do however, have a few gripes. First, the "Kill it with Fire" achievement doesn't seem to count flamethrower kills against the Crawlers in Eternity Endless mode. I'm not sure if that's intentional or not, but it makes getting that achievement incredibly annoying. Second, in the Eternity Endless mode the weapons displayed in the shops don't match their descriptions (the descriptions reflect the true weapon). Third, in the Eternity Endless mode the cost of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent roguelite for short-burst gameplay. Really enjoying it. Plays well on Steam Deck.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple, innovative, and really fun. This quickly became my go-to game for "I've got 15 minutes before I gotta go somewhere".
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a shame but the game is so buged its impossible to play. I really liked the concept wich is unique for a roguelike, but I couldnt play past the tutorial due to a loading screen bug (this ignoring other bugs). I tried 4 times creating different profiles and closing and running the game again but its worthless. I really hope they fix this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solid super fast horizontal roguelike arcade shooter. Too much grind of the metaprogression in this game of course. I do not like a meta grind in roguelikes and I skip it in each game which has the meta leveling, as a result it is better than a grind loop in 99% of all games. Therefore I recommend to unlock everthing in the leveling tree after your first run and you will have much more fun from this game (the difficulty will not affected).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fantastic rouge-lite shooter, with a clever and unique gimmick, solid gameplay, cool art direction, and VERY addicting and fast!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →And interesting idea for a roguelite where every level is cylinder filled with things to explore, when you shoot it would travel in a 360 cylinder too. It is definitely an interesting perspective for a game of it's type.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Right, sorry, but this is a hard pass from me. Classes don't seem to make any gamplay difference, at least early on. Exploration is pointless. So overall there's absolutely nothing that would incetivize me to make another run.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is good Also interestingly a convex game on a concave monitor actually works
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Orbital Bullet, developed by SmokeStab and published by Assemble Entertainment, WhisperGames, and Mayflower Entertainment, is an inventive and highly kinetic rogue-lite shooter that sets itself apart with one simple but brilliant twist: everything takes place on a circular 2.5D plane. This "360-degree" level design fundamentally reimagines how combat and movement interact, creating a relentless, fast-paced rhythm that feels both familiar and refreshingly new. Rather than running left to right…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Couldn't play more than ten minutes due to terrible motion sickness.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would say "all style and no substance", but this game doesn't even have much style either. Hard pass, another cookie cutter roguelite that isn't worth it even if you get it for free.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an epic game, totally a sleeper title. I was sleep on it a long time. Glad I finally installed to my Steam deck.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not bad, if not a little boring. The idea of the 360 degree levels is inventive and cool, although the novelty does wear off after a few runs. There are a decent amount of enemies and bosses. The levels all feel the same as they have the same layout with a slight palatte change. The classes function almost the same and there isn't enough variety in that they don't change how you play the game at all. The class abilities are kind of weak and the few class specific upgrades don't do THAT…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hell of a rogue game, while it brings out the challenge having to play through the levels in a single life, it does make things easier with the level up system which I enjoy. The game is tough but actually fair as it gives you plenty of opportunities to level up every time you die which leads to better planning on how you can fight through. Recommend it for rogue lovers out there.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An interesting take on 2D shooters. Some of the late game resources get a bit grindy but for the most part it's fun. Would I have played if I didn't get it for free probably no.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had a great time playing it. Nice replayability, music, gameplay overall. Thank you, dear developers!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It keeps you coming back. This is the first time I have ever played a rogue light, and it has been a great introduction for me! This game is stuck in my brain! I love the music, guns, fast pace, and fluid action. I can't wait to beat it for the first time!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a bit addictive been playing it every night after work. with that being said the game is a bit buggy in eternity mode (survival mode) Crashing: https://twitter.com/Overlord_Renn/status/1668080777513295879?s=20 Solution for Crashing: https://twitter.com/Overlord_Renn/status/1668075917527089152?s=20 No Roll Bug: https://twitter.com/Overlord_Renn/status/1668079440725790721?s=20 (usually goes back to normal once you defeat boss and move on to next planet) My biggest issue with the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not being able to rebind Teleport/ skillpoint button from RETURN despite being able to rebind everything else is stupid, everytime i want to teleport i have to take my hand off my mouse... refunded it for that dumb choice by the devs
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is incredible. Perfectly executed 360 rogue-like
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't understand how this game doesn't have more positive reviews
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pixel art is great, there are tons of weapons and the orbital stages are interesting, but the game is too heavy-handed with its effects and enemy patterns, making it all really frustrating and hard to see. You can certainly get better, but what ends up counting is you getting stronger little by little by purchasing those now classic increments of the roguelite genre. The options are spread too much, upgrading too little though. Rogue Legacy managed to get away with this, but not this title.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You spin me right round baby right round. Great spin on the rougelike genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you like Resogun and Roguelikes, just go ahead and buy this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 works on Retroid Pocket 6 through game native. Ton of fun vertical roguelike with clear upgrade paths and easy to understand controls. Its like a better megaman.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great if you're into run and gun with a twist. 92% off is insane for this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good game, i like the 360 gimmick is used well in enemy and weapon design, the art style is nice too, got it on sale so good value
